    Popeye Omelette

ABSOLUTELY amazing. These plates are from two different times I have come to this establishment. This place is so yummy. You can choose to either dine inside or out. But the ice coffee is delicious. Potatoes are crispy. The omelettes are always cooked to perfection!! The workers always are always a vibe!

Cute little place. Good food. Waiter was cool. You can see into the kitchen and prep area. One of the prep workers had gloves on but kept putting his gloved hands into his pockets. Bathroom is not in the restaurant. It's outside down the way.

Very good services but waited an hour for our food after ordering. It's one of the few places that open before 11 in Peddlers Village so it was packed. French toast was delicious. Everyone I went with enjoyed their food as well. Indoor and outdoor seating. Indoors gets a little loud with the low ceilings. Little pricey, which is on par for the area.

Wonderful cafe with great, fresh food. Service is very friendly. My wife and I drove down to Peddler's Village today pretty much just to have lunch here. Once in a while we like to go on a drive and treat ourselves and this place was perfect.

Stopped in here during the Apple Festival, and they seemed a bit overwhelmed and frazzled. I'm sure the service would be better on another day. Food-wise, not bad. The onion rings were absolutely delicious, but for $6, receiving only 5 rings and none of the side sauce that was supposed to be served with it, especially when sharing, was ridiculous. They were very crisp and not greasy and excellent, but more than $1 an onion ring, I would not order again. The grilled cheese and butternut squash soup had the Apple theme, so I ordered it (minus the prosciutto). It was very good, though the soup lacked flavor and was just OK. My friend disliked the soup so much that they replaced it for her, and she got sweet potato fries as her side instead. We waited a very long time for those, but they were absolutely delicious! Cooked perfectly crisp, tasty and the best thing we had. Lunch for two of us split in half was $27 apiece, including tax and tip. I don't know about you, but to me, that's a lot of money for a fancy grilled cheese with onion rings.

Great little quaint place for breakfast! I had some excellent French toast with a side of bacon. This place is small with a few tables in this really pretty spot within the Peddlers Village. The service was friendly and welcoming and the food was fresh and delicious.

Outdoor courtyard area with the entrance just beyond the tree, around the corner from Earl's.

Oh. My. God. So good! Just had my first visit to FresCafe for takeout. I had the Westside breakfast sandwich (sans bacon) and an Earl Grey hot tea. It was a religious experience. First the sandwich. Messy as hell, but such a good, delicious mess. The tomatoes in particular we perfect, not the mushy bland mess you sometimes find on sandwiches this time of year in the Northeast. The avocado was fresh, and the sunny side up egg was perfect. What's more, the brioche bun held up extremely well on the car ride home despite the egg yolk at the bottom of the container. The next noteworthy item was the service. The young lady who took my order was so polite and friendly. She thoughtfully brought my tea outside to me as I waited outside with my older Labrador Retriever, telling me she thought it would help me "keep warm." She asked about my dog, told me about her own dogs and could not have been more personable. Very thoughtful. When my sandwich was ready she brought it out and wished my dog and I a good day. From what I saw of the inside, it is a very simple, tasteful decor. The space is small, but the size matches the charm and inviting vibe. The entire dining area is window lined with views of the brick walkways and nearby shops. The place oozes understated charm. Go for the food. Go for the good customer service. Most importantly, go. (And tip well; these people work hard).

We like to mix sweet and savory at breakfast, so we split a pancake (the rest of the short stack reheated well at home). I had the eggs Benedict and he had the breakfast quesadilla. My Benedict was fantastic - perfectly poached eggs on top of sweet maple ham with a nice bit of char on it from the griddle. I'm picky about hollandaise and this was really good. The quesadilla was enormous, absolutely stuffed with eggs, chorizo and vegetables. He had leftovers for days. Service was good. We were seated by the window, although there isn't much to see on a Monday in January before Peddler's Village opens for the day. The space isn't huge and I can imagine it being packed in the spring and summer. We can't wait to go back and try some of the other breakfast dishes. I have my eye on their French toast, huevos rancheros, smoked salmon plate, and breakfast sandwich.

The seating works for both couples having a cute coffee date and groups catching up, which I appreciate. They've switched to a kiosk ordering system, and honestly? Kind of a win. Both kiosks can be used, orders move faster, and the staff can focus on making drinks instead of juggling a line. The only downside: no cash and no non-chip gift cards, which feels very "welcome to the future, hope you're prepared!" The staff is genuinely pleasant and even offered to remake my drink if anything went sideways, which automatically earns brownie points. Fair warning though: when it gets busy, it gets TIGHT. Like, "excuse me, sorry, I'm just existing" tight. That said... the drinks are absolutely worth the mild inconvenience. Cozy vibes, good coffee, and friendly staff? It doesn't seem to matter if the place is empty or packed you'll still wait way too long for food that's pretty mediocre. I really wanted to like this place because the location, decor, and layout are all great. But every time I go, the service feels cold and unwelcoming. No greeting, no friendliness, no sense that they're happy to have customers there. Instead, it feels like you're bothering the staff just by being there or asking a question. And the food is honestly always disappointing. After the first two times, I started sticking to drinks only. What really turned me off was seeing the owner post on social media making fun of negative reviews about long wait times and cold coffee. Those are fair complaints, and customer feedback should be taken seriously, not mocked. I'm sure they'll stay busy because they're in a tourist spot, but I'd save your time and money and go somewhere else.

The interior is very nice, with a lovely communal table, impressive bonsai trees, and bright lighting. But, I certainly would not include the cold and prickly barista as part of the nice vibes. It was early morning when we visited and this man seemed to don a perpetual frown on his face, coupled with an air of annoyance. There was not a single friendly exchange, and as a customer, you almost feel unwelcome in there. It's kind of strange when they don't want your business. I can let all that slide if my beverage was up to par, but, sadly, that was not the case. I paid an arm and a leg for mid-tier lattes that were barely above room temperature. The menu is quite interesting and I have no doubt they use quality ingredients, but even in an economy of heightened or runaway inflation, there is still no excuse for such an exorbitant upcharge, regardless of whether you use ceremonial grade matcha or provide cashew milk as an alternative to dairy. In no world should my two lattes cost over $20.00 unless you sprinkle them with edible gold dust. I'm used to paying a little for high-priced coffee and I see it all the time at the artisanal and hip coffee shops I visit at home in NY. Brooklyn alone has some of the most curated and vibey ones you could ever imagine, so I'm done batting an eyelash when it comes to such coffee shops. Shockingly though, Amsterdam Coffee Bar was even pricier than those spots! It made me suspect if some of that upcharge is to fund their obsession with bonsai trees (which in turn, they flip and sell here). I don't think I need to tell you that peddling bonsai plants and gemstones is a little on the tacky side. Another surprise is that this place is not even in the downtown area so high rent doesn't seem as though it would be a factor. I wouldn't say it's located in the sticks, but, it's certainly a bit more remote and not in a touristy or prime location. A hyper local coffee shop like this should not be charging as much as they do. It's a shame that the locals are being priced gauged all for "decent" coffee. Now I've read some of the snarky Google responses from the business owner and I'm sure he's got an obnoxious retort in the chamber to unleash on this review, but, no bother. I know that they care about customer feedback or else they would not have that Instagram follower counter hanging on their wall! To the locals and visitors here's a PSA; you don't need to go to Starbucks or run off to grab the coffee special at Wawa if you're looking for a respectable coffee shop. There are alternative spots where they respect you enough to appreciate your business and charge reasonable prices for their goods. I would highly recommend Native Cafe in Doylestown, PA (less than a 15 min drive from here), and that place was 100% fabulous. Expect immaculate vibes, service, coffee, and a delicious menu. You won't find bonsai trees or gemstones for sale there, but you'll get a warm and cozy Hygge atmosphere all for free and chances are high that they will even smile at you for your business.
