Bonsai trees

We were passing through and wanted a quick, morning coffee. This place was a great surprise. A small, unassuming shop. Quite easy to miss in the little "shopping center". I briefly checked out the menu online and the unique drinks caught my attention. I with with the chocolate peanut butter latter and my wife had a mocha. We also splurged on a vanilla liege waffle and a brownie batter liege waffle. First, drinks were superb. Made pretty quickly and tasty. Mine had a distinct peanut butter flavor. I'd go with a potentially top few lattes I've enjoyed. The mocha my wife got was quite sweet, so more to my preference, but she loved it. She said it made her think of a brownie. While I'm slightly familiar with Belgian waffles, these were also outstanding. I had the vanilla, which is pretty standard, with little, caramel used flecks of pearl sugar. It's dense, but not heavy. Good texture and chewy. Reminiscent of a good pretzel. The one my wife had with brownie mixed in was also great. We actively tried to slow down while eating to enjoy them rather than scarf it down. The location doesn't have a lot of seating, but it's cute. I'd highly recommend a stop and I want to get back there.

We were staying nearby and I was perusing for coffee shops in the area. I came across Amsterdam Coffee Bar and saw it was super highly rated on Yelp and knew I had to try. I love that there were so many bonsai trees. I know they are hard to take care of, and every tree looks perfectly maintained. There are many interesting coffee combinations, but I decided to try the orange mocha. High quality chocolate paired with orange essential oils. So delicious and delicate. Definitely a thoughtful cup of coffee!

Loved the ambiance here though definitely got loud and busy on a Saturday morning. The mocha was a bit too sweet for me and my fiancé's blueberry pie latte didn't have a lot of flavor. Drip coffee was rather acidic.

The coffee is good, creative flavors and the people are friendly. BUT they use essential oils in their drinks... YIKES! Essential oils are not extracts, they are not regulated or tested, and they certainly are not safe for consumption (despite what all the pyramid scheme "huns" tell you.)

Fabulous little place. Loved the aesthetic! I spent considerable time walking around marveling at the beautiful wood table, the owner's bonsai and assorted electronic gadgets. Some of the bonsai are for sale, of course my eye went to the most expensive one, bit resisted the urge to take it home to wither. My son had a iced flavored drink and a liege waffle. After nosing the whole beans that they are featuring for their pour over, I went for that splurge. Pass on milk or cream, this deserves to be enjoyed black. I tasted bittersweet chocolate, and to me dark fruit. Tasting notes are personal and the notes on the bag were similar but both exactly what I was experiencing. So good, I called in from the road hesding back to NY this AM. Caught the last few drips as I walked in the door! In my thermal cup, sipped hot for 2 hours on the ride home.

Cute cafe near Peddler's village. I took my family here since the food options at Peddler's are not the best and was pleasantly surprised. They have unique coffee flavor offerings and although I don't drink coffee everyone else in my party enjoyed their beverages. The food was good as well, the turkey bacon egg sandwich was flavorful, and they didn't skimp on fillings and the scone was the right amount of sweetness. The food came out quickly and the workers were friendly. My grandma started having an episode and was arguing with my mom and they did not kick us out so much appreciated!

A pretty cute, unexpected spot. Not in the touristy area, so more of a local coffee shop. We ordered a blueberry waffle, an almond milk matcha latte and an oat milk latte. The drinks and food were just okay, not the best frothing. But the little tank of fish and shrimp, and the bonsai everywhere, made for an enjoyable coffee trip.

On the end of a tiny strip mall just outside of Peddler's Village lies this little coffee shop. You may first notice the ambience is adorned with bonsai trees, but a look at the menu will show you some very interesting coffee creations that are sure to awaken your taste buds. While not a large selection, they do offer a few tasty treats as well. The prices are a little bit higher when you compare it to that popular chain, but you're getting something unique here. Every specially coffee we have tried has been just delicious, with the golden being one of my favorites. They do change the menu frequently to allow you to try a variety. Recently we tried the Elderberry Healer on their winter menu, which is a must try.

I am once again telling you to try this coffee shop. I went on a weekend this time and I'm both happy and sad that it's getting so busy because I love the quiet in there, but I'm so glad they are getting the recognition they deserve. Got a blueberry oat milk latte and a vanilla Belgian waffle and it is just so freaking good here. Cute aesthetic, nice staff, and delicious food and drinks. Idk what they do exactly to their coffee, I'll have to ask next time, but it is SO smooth!! And when you get a flavored latte it's not overly sweet, so it's COFFEE but with a kiss of flavor and sweetness, it's absolutely perfect. The waffle is a real traditional one, so you have the flavor/sugar crystals. I brought my friend and she said it reminded her of the ones you get at a ski resort give Amsterdam some love

Hello gorgeous

The bonsai cafe , it's referred to as. And I was looking forward to that... indeed! I also heard the baked goods were tops! The owner is making the beautiful coffees as well as greeting all who enter. He made the gorgeous GeorgeNakashima-esque table you see when your enter... although no butterfly ... but it is grand and it is handsome! The cafe has such a downhome welcoming vibe as if I was entering a scene in the Gilmore Girls. The owner engaging with patrons and locals. Nice music & great vibe.

This is a really cool spot! The waffles are delicious, they kinda taste like donuts. The service was great too.

Breakfast sandwich is INSANELY DELICIOUS!!!! Cappuccino was spot on and the espresso was the kick I needed to finish my drive. Don't drive by too fast or you'll miss it. Worth the stop! Bonsai trees, beautifully hand crafted table (by the owner none the less) and an awesome vibe. Park and stay a while!!

Such a unique coffee shop! The vibes are truly immaculate, and the coffee is made so well. Latte art is great, flavor is fantastic, and the coffee beans themselves are noticeably better than chain shops. They use Elixr beans (also for sale) and brew them perfectly. Incredibly well balanced latte; not too sweet, not too strong, not too weak. A fantastic, small shop (that doubles as a bonsai gallery, I might add) right near Peddlers Village. They absolutely deserve your patronage; it is so evident that they take making great coffee seriously. Cheers to you ACB!

The second time wasn't as good so wish they were a little more consistent. They have different types of drinks that you wouldn't see at Starbucks which I like. After a handful of visits over the years, I can honestly say the food and service just aren't worth…read morethe time or money. It doesn't seem to matter if the place is empty or packed you'll still wait way too long for food that's pretty mediocre. I really wanted to like this place because the location, decor, and layout are all great. But every time I go, the service feels cold and unwelcoming. No greeting, no friendliness, no sense that they're happy to have customers there. Instead, it feels like you're bothering the staff just by being there or asking a question. And the food is honestly always disappointing. After the first two times, I started sticking to drinks only. What really turned me off was seeing the owner post on social media making fun of negative reviews about long wait times and cold coffee. Those are fair complaints, and customer feedback should be taken seriously, not mocked. I'm sure they'll stay busy because they're in a tourist spot, but I'd save your time and money and go somewhere else.
