Found this hidden gem heading to an appointment at St.Marys hospital. I was looking for nearby restaurants with high ratings on yelp. And found this winner. It was within mins of the hospital. The first time i went with my mom- we just ordered the oatmeal, with raisins, walnuts and brown sugar. I also got a bagel toasted with cream cheese and ny mom ordered a corn muffin. The corn muffin was delish and made from scratch. Oatmeal and bagel was also good. Customer service was great as well. The second time we came in- i came after a procedure i had done at the hospital again, but this time we ordered big plates of breakfast items. I read on a yelp review that i had to try the homefries... And wow they werw the best homefries ive had in a long time. Crispy full of flavor whole potatoes. I had two egga scrambled with ryw toast and ham with home fries and French toast. The plate was huge and everything on ny plate was full of flavor and cooked to perfection. This place is doing something right. They were nonstop taking calls for orders and this small place waa filling up quickly. I found out they also have a tasty lunch so i will be heading back here to try it dor myself.

    Silver dollar chocolate chip pancakes

Our breakfast here was excellent. I ordered chocolate chip silver dollar pancakes and my husband had the meat lover's omelette. It's not the biggest place but the turnover is quick and we only waited 5 mins to be seated. Our waitress was nice and our food came out fast. Home fries aren't our favorite thing but the home fries here are perfection. Breakfast & lunch are offered. Our food with 2 beverages came out to $19. I was fed great food, I don't have to clean up and it's affordable, we'll definitely return.

From the lighting fixtures to the decor Flourish is both stylish and comfortable. The food is just as well thought out. Inspired by Eastern European flavors Flourish takes basic breakfast to an elevated experience. A bit pricy for daily breakfast but the flavors were a treat to experience. No pork products but the turkey sausage was just as satisfying and 4 long links in a side serving. I chose the garden skillet and swapped the over easy eggs for scrambled. He went for the Shakshuka. Both were not just served but presented beautifully on wooden boards. We had to try the Syrniki and were delighted. You aren't going to find over the top portions here, but the meals are satisfying and prepared with fresh quality ingredients. The berries on the Syrniki were huge, juicy and tasty. Flourish is not your daily breakfast spot but definitely one we recommend and will revisit on occasion.

The guy working behind the counter was pleasant and knowledgeable about their coffee offering which comes from Homestead Coffee Roasters of Upper Black Eddy. Their drink menu consists of hot/cold coffee, tea, lattes, and espresso based drinks. I tried the drip coffee and would highly recommend it. It is a private label version of Homesteads Darkness - dark & bold with notes of rich, smokey chocolate. I enjoyed the dark roast, rich chocolate and its bold full body. The cortado and espresso I had were ok. I found them to be a little too bitter, but there was a strong roasted earthiness flavor that I liked. On a return trip I'll have to try their Vietnamese coffee. Food wise I've had the sausage egg and cheese on a bagel and a bacon egg and cheese on an everything bagel. They are simple and decent sized with simple folded egg patties and cheddar cheese on average bagels. The sausage had a little spicy kick and the bacon was pretty tasty (NOTE: they do offer pork roll as an option). I was given some hot sauce packets to go. You can also get sandwiches on a croissant. The rest of the menu is simple - toasts, sandwiches, salads, some items for the kids. They do sell their private label coffee beans in retail bags and will grind them for you. I'll stop in again if I'm in the area. The coffee and ambiance is great, the food is ok to good, service great and the idea of a non profit that supports community is commendable. Thanks!!

While I find Well Bean to be a charming little cafe/coffee shop, he on the other hand finds it overpriced and "bougie" let talk about what Well Bean is. It is a coffee house with lovely baked goods. Something found along the streets of New Hope, Frenchtown, and Lambertville... Not off of route 1 in Penndel. The vibe is cozy and the environment comfortable, but disappointment sets in if you're planning on having an actual meal here. My Turkey Pesto Panini was disappointing. While the bread, and pesto were lovely, the turkey looked and tasted like the Oscar Mayer prepackaged kind you find in the local grocery store. His breakfast sandwich dull and lackluster in every aspect but the sourdough. Again - the baking is what shines here at Well Bean. My recommendation: stop in and grab a late, smoothie or tea and a pastry to go... but if you're looking for a hearty breakfast leave the heavy lifting to The Coffee Cup Cafe around the corner or The Cracker Barrel down the street.

We ordered dinner for the family and tried several dishes so we could sample a bit of everything…read more There were a couple bright spots (the onion rings and ranch were excellent), but overall the meal fell short of expectations. Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich - This was the biggest disappointment. The chicken breast was extremely thick and had a grainy texture that made me wonder if it was chicken breast with rib meat. If that's the case, it gives the impression that quality isn't a priority. The breading also fell off with almost every bite, and the sandwich wasn't well proportioned (one oversized tomato slice that wasn't cut evenly). Most importantly, it didn't taste like Nashville hot at all -- more like "Nashville not." Shrimp Po' Boy - Below average. The shrimp had a slightly fishy taste, and the bread didn't resemble proper po' boy bread. The greens were a spring mix, which felt like an odd choice. Traditional shredded lettuce would have worked much better. I've had po' boys in Louisiana, and while I wasn't expecting complete authenticity, I was expecting something closer to the spirit of the dish. This version missed the mark. Smash Burger - Probably the best of the three mains we ordered, but still just average. I've honestly had better smash burgers at chains like Shake Shack. Sides: The fries were great. We ordered the beer cheese sauce, which was fine but not necessary. The onion rings were the standout -- perfectly crispy with a clean bite. The homemade ranch served with them was excellent. Overall, I really wanted to like this place more, but the food didn't deliver enough for me to return.

The beer cheese was not the best and the pork roll a bit too chunky didn't make a perfect bite. As always they rock the chicken sandwiches out of the park.
