We are inntown for a few weeks and wanted to try some yummy food. I have many food sensitivities and blood sugar issues, so I am always scared to eat out. I looked ahead at their menu and saw a few things that I thought I could modify to make work for my needs. My hubby got their burger with no bun and I got the Cohiba bowl with no rice, little means, add Brussel sprouts. They were very nice to allow the substitution on my bowl and I really appreciated it! The food was delicious. I would say that mine had a sweet flavor, so I did not eat it all because I was worried about my blood sugar spiking too much. Because I rarely eat sweets, I can generally taste the smallest amount of sweetness. They're located at Ottos Landing with other food trucks. Parking is tight, but we enjoyed drinks from Ottos with our meal. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a delicious meal and a drink.

Frozen like chicken patty for their chicken sandwich at Hayden Homes

As i read the description boasting "elevated street food" on their website headline, i was looking forward to trying their cuisine at the Hayden Homes Amphitheater. The menu sounded delicious but after my husband orders a chicken sandwich, and came back, i was upset with what we recieved. We were served a version of a Costco crispy chicken patty and a Costco bulk store bought bun.. i didnt even want to know how much it cost since were at a concert venue..but it was disappointing. The fries were krinkle cut style and sprinkled with spices and sugar which were fine but nothing special. The sauce and toppings tasted fine but it didnt change the fact that the menu online stated "a hand dredged fried chicken on a brioche bun". I wish they wouldnt state something it is not.

The food was phenomenal! The owners of the food truck have great customer service. I had one of the bowls and the sauce was amazing. Highly recommend giving them a try!

There's a sizable grass area (though currently looks like they're trying to re-seed the missing chunks) where I saw a family set up a blanket for a picnic. Lots of food truck options and the layout is simple and easy to compare your options side by side. Drink options were plenty, though it didn't seem like you could get just a soda if you wanted one but I didn't look that hard. Ice cold self-serve water was good with me. Bartender was friendly. We ordered a couple items from the BBQ truck (will do a separate review). There appears to be a nice sized stage for live performances as well as multiple fire pits and heaters for when things cool down at night or in the winter. Parking is a decent size, though don't be fooled by your map app and turn into the shopping strip just before it, they have signs everywhere that that parking is NOT for the food trucks/on Tap. Optional street parking as well, even if the street is a little tight. Would return for sure.

This is just super fun. So I was walking by this place on a Saturday afternoon and I knew I absolutely had to stop. The prices are perfect for a late breakfast, or afternoon snack, or you can totally get an assortment and go crazy. But honestly, it's all pretty good. I got the original waffle, and a Boston cream pie waffle. The waffles come in sticks so it's super easy to eat and they have a nice balance between crunchy exterior, and soft warm pillowy interior. The waffle batter honestly made me think of all the waffles I used to eat as a kid and how much I love a good waffle. The Boston cream pie waffle was good. There's a little bit too much Nutella in it for my taste, but the Bavarian cream filling was wonderful. No syrup needed in my opinion. So this place has about three sweet waffles, and three savory waffles on the menu along with a few secret items when the owners get bored. Of course they are also regular waffles that are served in the delightful stick shape. All in all, this place is pretty solid. I can see it being very fun to share with friends and just have a good time can you group of friends together, ordering everything off the menu, and trying to taste the different flavors.
