We eat here every week! Tri-Tip Philly is our favorite. Also pesto chicken Philly . Lots of meat and flavors .

Was excited to try a Philly Cheese steak sandwich from these guys today. I waited for 15 mins outside. The young guy didn't even knowledge me. I got the feeling he didn't want to be there and he was annoyed I was gonna order something. So I didn't. Customer service stinks! read more

Pastrami sandwich is delicious. It's very good. The TG sauce is like Red Robin campfire but spicier and was also great. However, the roast beef sandwich was really unseasoned and had no salt. The fries were mid & the ranch was also boring. So it was kind of the tale of two meals. It's in a cool location at the Blacksmith Public House but It took a while to order and get the food. It was a little pricey for what you get, not big portions. Overall I felt the meh outweighed the good. read more

Had the Trip Tip cheese steak sandwich and it was cooked perfectly. Very large portion and flavorful. Added some habanero sauce for a kick which was delicious as well. Great sandwich. Am recommending and will order again when visiting. read more

I find it hard to believe that I am giving a food truck 5 stars. That Guy's Bistro earned everyone of those stars. It was a warm winter evening and I wanted something warm to eat. After studying the menu, I picked the Philly Filly. I placed my order and was given a flashing device to tell me when my food was ready. I had barely settled into my chair when the buzzer went off. I was expecting a traditional Philly Cheesesteak. What I got was what I would call a Philly Wrap. It was warm with a healthy amount of sautéed onions and lots of gooey cheese. I loved it and got cheese and juices all over my hands. Now I want to try the rest of That Guy's Bistro's menu. read more

Our friends recommended trying the Blacksmith Public House for beers (Black Bute Porter, nice!) and having a bite to eat at one of the food trucks( 6 of them). 3 of us settled on trying That Guy's Bistro. Their food theme is Philly-style sandwiches on pita bread. We ordered a Veggie Filly, a Grilled Chicken Filly, a Philly Filly, and 2 sides of Fries. Our consense was unanimous. The food was very good. Looking forward to trying other menu items on our next visit. read more

We've been here twice and have been blown away every time on how good it is! We plan on trying everything on the menu eventually. The staff are super nice too. Why is there not a line out the door?? Located on the south side of Bend, a small place next to Albertsons. Google maps tried leading us astray. Anyway super great place! read more

The food is outstanding. I love their sandwiches, the "Filly" is amazing. Even better is their customer service. I was carrying too much food on the other side of the courtyard and dropped by burger. As I was cleaning it up, the guy came over and told me he would make me a new one. Totally unsolicited. And that was so kind. They didn't need to win over my business because the food is always good, but I will now go will make an extra point to go there when I'm trying to figure out what to "make" for dinner. read more

Exceptionally good, simple food. Bend needs more places like this, where regular people can get unpretentious food at a fair price. Perfect for washing down with a beer and hits my wallet just right at ten-ish bucks. I can throw a rock in any direction and hit someone selling Artisanal hand fed prehistoric-baby-pterodactyl burgers for 18 bucks in Bend. Gems like this are exactly what I'm hungry for. I've been three times now and it's been good consistently, do yourself a favor and stop for a meal. read more

I got the DIGGITY DOG but had to ask for it without the cheese added. They let me know the cheese is kind of what holds it all together but they can try to work something else out for me and they did, and it was still soooo delicious! First time to General Duffy's. I needed French fries and holy cow did this wonderful food truck deliver. Those were the best loaded fries I have ever had. We got the tri tip and I expected a small fries with like 5 little pieces of meat on them. It was a mound of food, enough for my husband and I to share for an early dinner. Loads of meat, so much cheese, amazing sauce. The habanero sauce (that was served on the side) was so hot my husband was sweating after eating a tiny bit of it. I've had the tri-tip Philly more times than I'd like to admit. It's amazing and very consistent. Ask for some habenaro sauce if you want some serious kick. Sides like fries are cheap and delicious. Tried the burger once and it was fantastic but I usually can't help but get the tri-tip. General duffys is also a great setting with awesome beer selection. read more

First of all no longer in General Duffy's lot, but moved 1/2 block North (I guess this could still be General Duffy's lot, not sure). After reading all the good reviews of the Tri-Tip Filly sandwich I had to try one. It is worthy of every word of praise its fan have written about it. Meat tasted wonderful and well seasoned. The red peppers, onions, mushrooms and cheese only enhance the flavor. I liked the use of flatbread as well. Grab lots of napkins as you will need them. When I was there the they were out of chocolate chip cookies and bottle water. The helpful guy working the trailer told me he had heard nearby Sisters Meats and Smokehouse had good chocolate chip cookies. He wasn't wrong. That business sells very good cookies and their pepperoni is pretty good as well. Sisters Meats had bottled water too. The only bad thing about That Guy's Bistro is that it is about 300 miles from my home. read more

We've eaten at That Guys Bistro several times, and each time has been delicious! The portions are large, the fries are amazing and all in all everything has always been top notch. The staff is always very friendly and attentive and the costs are quite fair. It's also very convenient to be able to enjoy a good meal here as you enjoy a good brew from General Duffy's. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! Let me paint a picture. No one asked me if I would like my food "for here" or "to go" then when I asked for a box I was met with "well he didn't order it like that." I prefer my food without rude attitudes. I got in my vehicle and drove a block, ate a fry and found out it had been sitting around cause there was no remanence of heat left. I tried to call the cart as soon as I was parked and no one answers the phone or calls me back. I will go out of my way to ensure no one who wants decent food or service ever visits this place. If I wasn't already pushed for the end of my lunch break I would've gone back and returned the food. It was horrid. read more

I usually look at the other food trucks at General Duffy's, and place an order at That Guy's Bistro. I've never eaten it togo, but it's always tasty and fresh for "dining in". I typically get the frank or the tri tip, but I'm guessing everything is excellent. Be sure to grab extra napkins because their food is a handful! I'll definitely be back for more! read more

Went to General Duffy's today just before noon. This food truck was not open, even though they show being open at 11:30 a.m. The back of the truck was open, so I asked an employee if they were going to be open today and the employee laughed and said, "No." The employee then said they would be open, and I asked if they had a timeframe. They said, "In a little while." I asked if it was worth waiting and the employee said within 15-20 minutes they would be open. I walked around the shops and 30 minutes later they were still not open. I ordered food somewhere else and 45 minutes later they opened. I've eaten here before and like it, but if that's how you treat a customer who only wants to eat at your truck, I'll pass. read more
