All the locals line up for this delicious food, and it's so worth it! Delicious food, great prices, generous portion sizes, large variety of menu options, great customer service! They have a HUGE menu! (See my menu photos). Most items (not all) are premade, and kept in hot steamer tables, ready for your order. There are a few items that are made to order. Our mofongo took about 15 min for them to make, but we didn't mind. The entire staff is so friendly and accommodating. They took such great care in packaging our food. I was so impressed! Each item is overflowing the containers since the portions are very generous. They make sure to wrap each item individually, in plastic wrap, to avoid any kind of spillage. Don't waste any of the delicious juices and gravy! I really appreciated that the food didn't get spilled in the car before I got home! Kudos to the staff! We tried: -- Sancocho Soup ($11/Large): comes with a pint of white rice. Comfort food at it's best. Very good! -- Mofongo w.Pork ($10): comes with a small container of gravy. The Mofongo itself was a bit dry but good after you include some gravy. Very good and worth the wait! This was a great first experience and I can't wait to go back to try their goat stew, roast pork and other goodies. This restaurant is very busy, so the fast turnover for the food kept the dishes fresh and tasty. Rincon Dominicano is more of a takeout place but if you'd like to eat in, they do have about 10 stool seatings by the counter looking out of the window. Restaurant is very clean. So glad I finally made it here, and we shall be back to try other menu items!

It's an all-you-can-eat buffet style setup and for $13.50 you're getting a plate that's absolutely stacked. I went in and loaded up on mac & cheese, pernil, chicharrones, chicken, and sweet onions and every single bite hit. The pernil was juicy, the chicharrones had the perfect crunch, and the mac & cheese tied everything together. I was so hungry I barely even took a picture before diving in -- that's how you know it's good. Huge shoutout to the guy serving us too. Great hospitality, super friendly, and he even recommended some drinks that paired perfectly with the food. If you're in Westbury and craving real, comforting Spanish food, this spot is a must. Come hungry -- you're gonna leave full and happy

I traveled here to find out that the Cook is on a break and will be gone for 30 minutes. It took me about 30 minutes to get here so it makes no sense to go home. now I'm just sitting in the dining room waiting for the Cook to come back from her lunch break. Not professional at all.. Tonight when I got home and went to enjoy my dinner. I realized they messed up my order for a second time. I ordered two cheesesteaks. They forgot the cheese. Now I know if I ever go back. I have to check before I leave. BTW, they charge a surcharge if you pay by credit card

What they offer include the slow-roasted pernil, rich Ropa Vieja, and the Cuban sandwich. Portions are generous, the cocktails (like mojitos and sangria) are excellent, and the lively atmosphere makes it a great spot for both casual dining and celebrations. They offer rich, comforting, and authentic Cuban flavors. Diners love the slow-roasted pork (pernil) and Ropa Vieja, which melt in your mouth. If you want something lighter, the Cubano sandwich on Long Island is frequently cited as a destination-worthy staple. The space feels warm and family-run, as what I may describe as stepping into an "abuela's house". The staff is highly attentive and offers great menu recommendations. It tends to get packed--especially on weekend evenings--but the lively vibe (including staff-led birthday songs) adds to the charm. I note that the pricing is moderate and reasonable for the high quality and generous portion sizes, frequently allowing diners to take home leftovers.

The food here is 5/5, not to mention the rotating menu and the, the empanadas, tres leches cakes, and their soups. They make soups in Thursdays a d Sundays, but they usually have the pernil, like 2 beef dishes and they rotate ribs, chicken, and beef steak. Yuca, white rice, black rice, and the rice and beans are usually there every time I have went. The service is attentive, they ask you what size large or small and they start with the rice, then over to the meats. The restaurant smells so appetizing upon entering. It is newly renovated, clean and organized so you can dine in or take out. The staff is very nice and I have come here about 5 times since they opened.

There are also some sides available. I always got oxtail. It's good, but a bit pricey for the amount of meat you get. Others have ordered the pepper steak before and the portions for that are great. The rice is definitely on the salty side, but is good overall. I do appreciate that the lady working there is always generous with pouring extra sauce on our rice as well. We also tried the tres leches during our last visit and would get it again. It had the perfect texture and sweetness.

Celebrating my eldest graduating today we decided to try Casita RD , we always read so many reviews and it pops up on recommendations around social platforms. The food was great as well as the presentation of each drink and meal brought out to us I ordered the Oxtail with a side yucca mash with added cheese , the oxtail was extremely tender as it should be and the flavor was really well seasoned more on the savory tangy side that paired well with the velvety texture of the yucca mash , I added cheese to my mash however next time (because there will be a next) I would prefer without the cheese flavor of the mash was perfect as is ! My S/o ordered the Boca Chica which was a deep fried Snapper , I cannot really speak on how the flavor of that was but he finished it and was full and satisfied , he paired that with some yucca fries which were very filling . My children both had their own meals of fried chicken my son with fries he's pretty simple and my daughter chose the Moro , the Moro looked so good I asked if I could try some and I am so happy I did bc the Moro especially at a restaurant was flavorful and on point ! I was happy with the food we chose , our family friend ordered the mofongo with the chiccharon she had to have me try it because she said it was delicious and it was , the chiccaron paired with the creamy sauce was such a decadent pairing and not too much , for drinks we ordered a few items like the Morir sonando that was made with fresh pressed orange juice and tasted like one of the greatest creamsicles I can find and I had a Chinola juice , which was perfect not too sweet. my husband had a few drinks , I ordered the white wine sangria which also was strong and very delicious served with fresh fruit . For the ending of our meal we had the tres leches and the lava Cake , we aall shared although the lava cake baked fresh to order I wasn't a fan I prefer the tres leches . I had a more than happy food experience and state it again extremely happy with all the food choices we honestly ate so much that there's items I failed to even talk about bc they were just great but I will be coming back again soon ! I can strongly say even if I didn't try a item I could say it would be good and well prepared their service is great and the food and drinks are made to perfection
