    Pernil Burrito

This is my go-to spot whenever I finish my Costco run. Spanish delis and storefronts that serve hot food aren't uncommon in the area, but it's always nice to have a place that consistently delivers high-quality food. I almost always order the pernil burrito. The saltiness of the pernil and the sweetness of the plantain pair very well for a delicious bite. It's always a bonus when they add ripe avocado. Definitely recommend it! If you are somehow still hungry, you can't go wrong with a small platter of arroz con gandules, beans, and chicken. The small plate isn't small; the servers always pack it to the brim, so you get your money's worth. The chicharrón bites are especially good--they're fried perfectly and have the right amount of fat. Bonus tip: if you live in the area or drive by around closing time, they are active on the Too Good To Go app. You get a LOT of food, enough for a family.

Pollo guisado- dark meat with rice and gandules and fried platains. Delicious

We came by for lunch about 1pm, right after finishing costco shopping. The food is always fresh, the lady behind the counter is always smiling and ready to make your order. The dark meat was very tender, the plantais were sweet, the arroz and gandules very savory and dont forget to ask for some of the gravy from the chicken for your rice. As always, i asked for the green garlic sauce- that sauce is addictive, tasty and loaded with garlic. Prices as anywhere else are up, remember that they charge a $1 extra for credit card transactions or avoid by paying cash. My wife loves the food here, always very tasty and a good variety of choices from the hot menu.

We've gotten take out from this place a few times and have really enjoyed their dishes. We have gotten the grilled chicken, chicharron and pernil with a variety sides like the macaroni and cheese and the potato salad. I love their sides, the Mac and cheese is seasoned well and creamy. The potato salad is very classic and always a good choice. The grilled chicken is juicy and flavorful. The pernil is my FAVORITE. It is packed with flavor and so tender. The chicharron was the only meat that I wouldn't get again, the pieces were quite large and a bit too tough to actually bite through and enjoy easily. Def excited to try more of their dishes and eat in person!

Dark Meat Chicken Stew Bowl - Maduros and Yellow Rice

Going to a show at the Space at Westbury we choose Punta Cana Dominican Grill because we get the food fast, the food is delicious and we didn't have to feel anxious waiting for food, the check, etc... going to a sit-down table service spot. We ordered a bowl asking for the beef stew, but the server gave us the chicken stew instead - we clarified, but since the bowl was made already we just went with it. The bowl came with a generous portion of yellow rice and a few maduros. The green sauce went perfect with this. We also got 3 empanadas - beef, chicken and cheeseburger. For me, beef empanadas are the best, the cheeseburger one is good, but the chicken is fairly bland shredded white meat chicken. The pink sauce is great with these. As we were sitting and eating a steady stream of customers came in picking up orders or order on the spot. I got the sense this is a popular option in the area with good reason - the food is on point!

Avocado Club Salad w/ grilled chicken

This Punta Cana makes really good Dominican food. I used to order lunch from here via UberEats when I worked in the area. When I was on my healthy wave, my go to was their Avocado club salad with grilled chicken. Salad was always fresh, chicken is well cooked but tender and perfectly seasoned. They also are NOT cheap with their Avocados which is a BIG DEAL for me! I'm an avocado head. Portions were also great. I got the Stew chicken Cana bowl when I wasn't counting calories lol! It comes with rice and beans and maduros! I also had their fried chicken chunks with rice and beans a few times. They are both really good! Oh I almost forgot, their Empanadas are a friggin big deal! Tasty and always served fresh and hot! Both chicken and beef empanadas are equally delicious. You MUST have it with the green sauce. The green sauce goes with everything they serve if you ask me..I put a little of it on every dish I've ordered.

Chicharron de cerdo (fried pork belly) w. pink sauce, yellow rice & peas, maduros (fried sweet plantains) and beef empanadas
    Cecilia T.

I love Dominican food! I've been coming to Punta Cana for 2 years now and literally tried everything from here. My favorite dishes are chicharrón (fried pork belly), dark meat chicken stew and oxtail (Fridays only) with yellow rice & peas. I always ask for extra pink sauce for me to drench the chicharrón in. As for the sides, I usually get the maduros or yuca. The pernil, carne guisada and beef empanadas are good too just not my favorite. The service is usually quick and the staff are friendly. You can check in on Yelp to get 10% off your order. Definitely recommend if you're looking for Dominican food.

I'm a facilities area manager and Westbury is one of my areas. Was excited to see a Dominican food spot open close by. What a disappointment. First, if you're expecting culture Dominican food, don't get your hypes up. Beans are pure water with beans. Service is terrible, young lady did not make the experience any better. Alert, not only do they not have wasacaca, she did not even know what was that. Very disappointing. My food was very nasty, had to throw the rest out. It was a pool of oil.

All the locals line up for this delicious food, and it's so worth it! Delicious food, great prices, generous portion sizes, large variety of menu options, great customer service! They have a HUGE menu! (See my menu photos). Most items (not all) are premade, and kept in hot steamer tables, ready for your order. There are a few items that are made to order. Our mofongo took about 15 min for them to make, but we didn't mind. The entire staff is so friendly and accommodating. They took such great care in packaging our food. I was so impressed! Each item is overflowing the containers since the portions are very generous. They make sure to wrap each item individually, in plastic wrap, to avoid any kind of spillage. Don't waste any of the delicious juices and gravy! I really appreciated that the food didn't get spilled in the car before I got home! Kudos to the staff! We tried: -- Sancocho Soup ($11/Large): comes with a pint of white rice. Comfort food at it's best. Very good! -- Mofongo w.Pork ($10): comes with a small container of gravy. The Mofongo itself was a bit dry but good after you include some gravy. Very good and worth the wait! This was a great first experience and I can't wait to go back to try their goat stew, roast pork and other goodies. This restaurant is very busy, so the fast turnover for the food kept the dishes fresh and tasty. Rincon Dominicano is more of a takeout place but if you'd like to eat in, they do have about 10 stool seatings by the counter looking out of the window. Restaurant is very clean. So glad I finally made it here, and we shall be back to try other menu items!

Celebrating my eldest graduating today we decided to try Casita RD , we always read so many reviews and it pops up on recommendations around social platforms. The food was great as well as the presentation of each drink and meal brought out to us I ordered the Oxtail with a side yucca mash with added cheese , the oxtail was extremely tender as it should be and the flavor was really well seasoned more on the savory tangy side that paired well with the velvety texture of the yucca mash , I added cheese to my mash however next time (because there will be a next) I would prefer without the cheese flavor of the mash was perfect as is ! My S/o ordered the Boca Chica which was a deep fried Snapper , I cannot really speak on how the flavor of that was but he finished it and was full and satisfied , he paired that with some yucca fries which were very filling . My children both had their own meals of fried chicken my son with fries he's pretty simple and my daughter chose the Moro , the Moro looked so good I asked if I could try some and I am so happy I did bc the Moro especially at a restaurant was flavorful and on point ! I was happy with the food we chose , our family friend ordered the mofongo with the chiccharon she had to have me try it because she said it was delicious and it was , the chiccaron paired with the creamy sauce was such a decadent pairing and not too much , for drinks we ordered a few items like the Morir sonando that was made with fresh pressed orange juice and tasted like one of the greatest creamsicles I can find and I had a Chinola juice , which was perfect not too sweet. my husband had a few drinks , I ordered the white wine sangria which also was strong and very delicious served with fresh fruit . For the ending of our meal we had the tres leches and the lava Cake , we aall shared although the lava cake baked fresh to order I wasn't a fan I prefer the tres leches . I had a more than happy food experience and state it again extremely happy with all the food choices we honestly ate so much that there's items I failed to even talk about bc they were just great but I will be coming back again soon ! I can strongly say even if I didn't try a item I could say it would be good and well prepared their service is great and the food and drinks are made to perfection
