I like the food there especially the Margaritas but unhappy about the policy that if you drink one there you can't buy one to-go, but you can drink 3 there. I would rather take one home than drive home drunk. They need to re-think this policy. read more

I had the combo fajitas and my wife had chicken enchiladas. The meat in both meals was very dry with no taste and no seasoning. Our meals were delivered to our table in less than 3 minutes after ordering which indicated the meat was precooked. My fajitas had 2 small pieces of bell pepper and slivered onions which cooked up fast on the sizzling platter. Some of the worst fajitas I have ever had. My wife's enchiladas were bad too. On the plus side, the atmosphere is nice and the service was good. read more

My sister & I had lunch the other day at Antonio's. (I recently moved to Fort Worth & love to eat & cook Baja Mex food; my sister explained a few differences between TexMex & Baja). I really liked the chile on the enchiladas - different from what I'm used to, but a really great depth of flavor! Our Server was friendly delightful & efficient. Prices were fair & will encourage me to return more often. I added a shake of salt & several shakes of black pepper to the salsa & found it fresh tasting & very good. The service was horrible. The waitress was very rude. We asked for fresh onions on the enchiladas, didn't get. Asked for extra napkins, didn't get. Had to get up myself to get more napkins. Also took it upon myself to get our own to-go cups and the waitress only checked on us once before giving us our check. However, first time eating at here. Lunch crowd was decent. Chips and picante sauce was fresh. We ordered the lunch beef fajitas and three cheese enchilada plate. Food was well seasoned and fajita meat was tender. We recently moved to Burleson and have been trying several restaurants. This one is by far the most disappointing so far. We both rated the food quality below fast food Mexican. The salsa is terrible, basically tomato sauce. The fajita beef is highly processed garbage and the chicken in the enchiladas tastes like it's from a can. The service was good, just too bad nothing could make up for the horrible food. read more

Husband and I went for some lunch and got the combination fajita plate with rice and beans. Well, the place it's self is nice, clean and has a great family atmosphere. We have a specific diet lifestyle that we follow so we had our friends eat our rice and beans and they loved it! On our plate we had steak, chicken, and shrimp fajitas with onions and green peppers. Food is delicious but not the best Mexican food we've had. We are Mexican American so we know our good Mexican dishes. The service was amazing very friendly and polite, probably the best thing about this restaurant is the service. We we're a little disappointed to see that we only had about two steak fajitas and the rest were mostly chicken and had about four shrimps on our fajita skillet. The steak was a bit dry but the chicken and shrimp were delicious! So for that we give it a 3/5 stars. read more

They have a senior plate that is the perfect size and price. I love the Chicken Enchilada with beans and rice. We eat here at least once a week. We even had our company reunion here. The service is always good. The wait staff always tolerate me practicing my Spanish. read more

The restaurant was clean and really cute. The beef nachos and the beef enchilada plate were really so good. But my husband got the chicken chimichanga and it literally tasted like boiled unseasoned chicken with a few onions and deep fried. No color and very bland. We'll probably try again though, we just won't order any chicken dishes. *edit hours later-- my husband got violently ill soon after eating the chimichanga. Of course I can be sure it was the food that made him sick, but he seems to think that was it. Yikes! read more

Starting off the menus was very unusual. I asked for a beef chimichanga and a margarita, the waiter took my order then came back 5 minutes later asking for my ID. Granted the food came out fast but when cut into my chimichanga I realized they put pork chicken and beef in it, i take it the waiter forgot what meat o ordered so they just threw everything in there I don't understand why they could come back 5 minutes later and ask for my id but not to clarify what my order was. Disappointed because this place used to be really good. They need new staff. NEVER coming back again. read more

I like Antonio's. I wish my son would go more often with me. They have these cheese appetizers that I really like 1 with mushrooms called Champinones con queso and the other is just called Queso salsa which is what it sounds like cheese with salsa but they are both really good. The staff is always friendly. I love the chile rellenos and the chimichanga. Both are excellent. The owner is often there or at least he used to be and he is a very nice man. read more

Went to Antonio's for dinner. The waiter was fantastic. We had no issues with him. The hostess was nice, as was the cashier when leaving. Our dinners were not so great. I had chicken fajitas- the chicken was bland and over cooked, the guacamole was good, the tortillas were very disappointing (barely warm and tasted out of a bag). I ordered sour cream and cheese for my fajitas ($2.49 each, they were cold, which was nice when the waiter brought them), Husband got the Chile rellenos. He said it was ok, but he would not ever order it again. The beans were ok, the rice not so tasty- again a bit over cooked and crunchy. Perhaps it was the time we went (not busy, after lunch and way before dinner), but overall it seemed we got food that was cooked long before we ordered it, especially the chicken and rice. The salsa was good, the chips kinda old tasting (again the time?) The restaurant was clean, staff nice, service prompt, but based on the food I don't think I will ever return. Margaritas seemed light on tequila, food was plentiful but not seasoned well, refried beans where runny, rice was good, enchiladas where well stuffed but bland. Nachos where Oddly done, but OK, again bland, large slice of onion sitting on top of sourcream not very appetizing. Service was thoughtful and consistent. If management would make just a few tweaks this could be an outstanding loccal place. Bill for 3 of us with food, 2 adult beverages and one iced tea was 42 dollars and change. So we went based on a recommendation. I should've gotten up after I tasted the salsa. The service is really good, he was attentive. I got carne asada and I literally got carne. The steak wasn't seasoned at all, even with just the basic salt and pepper. The rice was so dry I had to use salsa to be able to eat it. The charro beans were basically canned beans in their natural juices with some soggy bacon. The guac was ok that came with my meal. I couldn't believe I just paid $17.50 for that steak, I could've gotten a better steak at Waffle House. This has to be hands down the worse Mexican food I've ever had. If you're looking for authentic or even hell Tex mex I definitely don't recommend this place. Just don't do it. Sorry. I highly rely on yelp reviews for food recommendations and I hope mine helped deterred someone from eating here. read more

Honestly ever since moving from Florida we've been looking for great Mexican food. When moving to Texas everyone claimed Texas has the best Mexican food north of the border. We have yet to find a comparable quality and taste to our local restaurant back in Orlando. In fact we've found significantly worse. Antonio's is unfortunately another let down. The wait staff were extremely friendly, but slightly slow, and they were the highlight of the experience. Our waitress was extremely friendly and the best part of the experience was the custom hot sauce they made in the back that was "too hot" to serve to us. THAT was delicious Unfortunately everything else was bland, chewy, and tasteless. It tasted like it was made with sub-par meat and mass produced. I really wanted to like this place and it to be our local Mexican restaurant. Unfortunately it was more akin to cafeteria food than authentic lovingly made Mexican cuisine. read more

This was my first time going to this restaurant, and I really enjoyed it. It's a Mom and Pop establishment with really delicious food. The service was speedy and the wait staff was really helpful with making our dining experience valuable. I ordered Clara Platter, and the Sour Cream Chicken Enchiladas Al La Carte. The salsa and chips were also delicious. The food was flavorful and filling. The drinks are flavorful and cost effective. Our family will definitely be back! Antonio's has decent food and good service. They are pretty quick even when it's packed. I usually come here before I get my hair done and I'm pressed for time. The salsa is frothy...lol. It's a little weird. The queso I would pass on. The champinones con queso isn't bad. It's not your usual dipping cheese so it's a PITA to dip a chip. I've had the carne asada, pollo asado, and chicken con champinones. It was all good. It's not my preferred place in Burleson, but it's not bad. The salsa just weirds me out. read more

What a nice surprise! In an older strip mall but this hole in the wall has some of the best salsa of ANY Mexican restaurant in the metroplex. Actually had great flavor and finally a salsa with heat! When Taco Bell/Taco Casa out perform. Sad statement for a mom & pop restaurant. We heard so many good reviews about this place we took our in-laws here. Underwhelming at best. Chips were not fresh, salsa was bland. The chalupa plate was a disgrace. Poured cheese over a corn tortilla (pic posted)? The chicken burrito that came with my meal was shredded chicken in a flour tortilla, that's it (pic posted). Bland and without flavor. I added salt, pepper, salsa, and my father in-law's pico de gallo to provide some flavor to it. Four different meals, and none were good. Perhaps the kitchen staff had a bad night? Perhaps we got there (8pm) too late for fresh food? Perhaps the food was great at one time? Perhaps this is the way it has always been and the bar is just set low? I do not know what happened. I've eaten Tex-mex, traditional Mexican, Honduran, Ecuadoran, and Cuban foods all my life. I love the cuisine. I love supporting local businesses, especially restaurants. I cannot recommend this place. I will not be returning. I give a 2 because it seems like the facility is at least clean. read more

We have been going to this place for years. It's just a good place to get reliably good TexMex food. The chips & hot sauce are always good and they have the usual selection of enchiladas & combination plates. My MIL and husband really like their charro beans. There's really nothing flashy here, but kind of like a TV dinner, you always know what you're going to get. Pretty fair service and quality TexMex food --- WAY better than a TV dinner. read more

The service is always great as well nice people, food comes out very fast, but again the taste is just not there.
