My order: Turkey Temptress on gluten free bread The Review: Oh my lord, this place...the positives are: the food wasn't bad, there were options for different dietary needs, and it's kind of cute inside. Fresh South Boston was super crowded and the staff couldn't keep up with the demand, which led to a pretty rough experience. We first sat down and waited for someone to serve us. After being ignored for 20-30 min we decided to order at the counter instead. Decided to stay because there aren't that many casual places with gluten free options in the area. The counter took another 30-40 minutes, and they gave me the wrong sandwich (which could have gone quite wrong if someone had a severe allergy), and they completely left out another item we'd ordered. Fresh neither lives up to the price nor the hype. If you have to, order ahead only.

YUM! I was very pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed my sandwich at fresh Boston. The inside ambiance is super cute - has a modern feel with a beachy theme that makes it a vibe on a summer day. Service is super friendly and kind! We came in while they still had their brunch menu so I got the breakfast sandwich (cant remember the exact name at the moment) on everything focaccia. The focaccia was so delicious - had a great bounce, crunch, and flavor. Inside the sandwich was scallion cream cheese, an egg, hashbrown, and bacon. What a savory combo!!! The cream cheese blended so well with the chipotle aioli. The softness of the egg, cheese, and hashbrown balanced well with the crunch on the bacon and focaccia. Even the side arugula salad was well dressed. It looked small but left me full afterward. Would certainly recommend.

Great place for those in the South Boston area! We went multiple times during peak lunch times and still felt we were served at a reasonable speed. Never disappointed with any of the sandwiches that I've ordered! I also love the decor and overall ambiance! Check out their Instagram for all their fun events!

One of my favorite sandwhich spots in Boston. Great vibe - always bright, great service and good spot to watch a game. Spicy bloody - very good Boozy coffee (Southie Screwie)- good but a little sweet Bagel sandwich (Wake n'Bacon) - good twist on a traditional breakfast sandwich. Focaccia sandwich (Island Mambo) - a big sandwich but very good. Just the right amount of truffle flavor, not too strong.

Cool setup with liquor display on the shelves for purchase. Haven't had a chance to try the sandwiches but the drinks were pretty good off the menu. The waitresses and owner was very nice and Welcoming. So far pretty good impression here and will definitely try the sandwich for lunch next time .

Real nice ambiance and chill spot. Sort of in a sneaky location, but not too far from.Broadway. Great bartenders + TVs.

The brussel sprouts were not good as it tasted like someone put an entire lemon on them. It was also outrageous to charge an 18% service charge and a 3% admin fee on food that I picked up from the restaurant. I have no idea why you have to pay over 20% in fees for food that you are taking to go. I would not recommend dining here.

We went up to the hostess stand and were seated right away. Our server came by and was very friendly. However, as the night went on the service became quite slow. It took a lot of time for our food to come out and to get our to-go boxes as well. For a drink, I ordered the PINA-NO-LADA. It is basically a virgin pina colada. Very delicious and they added some nice cherries on top. For the food we shared: -CEVICHE: Great flavor and very fresh octopus. Went well with the tortilla chips it came with. -SHRIMP SCAMPI: The pasta was cooked perfectly as were the shrimp that were big and juicy. However, the sauce was overly acidic. There was way too much lemon in it. I do also wish they had more than just 4 shrimp on top of a $30 bowl of pasta. -BRUSSEL SPROUTS: Was good brussel sprouts. All in all, while the food was pretty good (with some hit or miss elements), it is such an expensive meal especially for the portion and service you are getting.

I came here 4 times when in town for a conference, as this way super conveniently located to the conference center (Menino). It's open 7am-10pm daily, is always seemingly busy but always very efficient and fast to deliver orders, and has a huge amount of comfortable seating. First visit: I tried the vegan breakfast burrito ($12), a nicely designed burrito with tofu, potato, spinach, roasted red peppers, vegan cheese, and mushrooms, served with salsa on the side. Very solid burrito. The Spanish burrito I tried another day--which came with vegan meatballs of some sort--was even better. Second visit: I got an açai bowl ($9 for the small size; $12 for regular), and added vegan protein powder ($2) blended in. It came with açai blended with almond milk, banana, strawberries, blueberries, and granola. Real good and plentiful even for the small size. Third visit: just ordered a bagel with vegan cream cheese that had tomato in it, and added some spinach on top ($5.50 total). Very generous spinach portion (for $0.50!), well-toasted bagel, and an appropriate amount of cream cheese. Very tasty. Moreover, each time I visited, I ordered a double espresso ($3.50), which was excellent. Proper espresso, deep body, strong, served with sparkling water and a piece of dark chocolate.

The prices are amazing for what you get :D The menu here is HUGE and has tons of options for customization. There are wraps, salads, smoothies, sandwiches, bowls, drinks - so many items to choose from! This place is located in the lobby of the Amazon Seaport Office. I got a Spicy Greek Breakfast Wrap ($13, +$1.50 for egg white sub) and a Santorini Sunrise Yogurt Bowl ($12). The portions are gigantic and the food is fresh. The Platters, both the breakfast and mezze are gorgeous. Pictures attached. The interior has ample seating and is bright and beautiful. They also prep your food impressively quickly given how many orders they seem to get! They get BUSY but I get why - the food is so good.

I just can't put my finger on it, but it was definitely comfortable. Another thing that was great about MJ O'Connor's is the fact that the appetizers were ridiculously affordable. Everything else in the hotel is expensive. Chicken skewers in the restaurant bar, were about the same price as two bottles of water in the gift shops and they were delicious. There were many other, very interesting and very affordable apps. I limited my drink to the espresso martinis because that's the way the night was rolling out. For some reason, maybe they're connected, they advertise their espresso martini as following the recipe of Breeca, which is a restaurant in the North End. Whatever, it had a very different taste than other espresso martinis. I've enjoyed elsewhere - it tasted like an old fashioned fudgeicle. So a little bit more chocolatey and creamy than you might find elsewhere. And yes, it did carry a kick. Add to that the restroom was within the the restaurant in very convenient.
