Fresh Burger is located on the east side of Dixie between Aimco and Eglinton. This mall is pretty much all restaurants and this place is right beside Chipotle. With so many food establishments in the immediate area how does this place stand out? I mean besides Staples and the gas station on the corner almost all the businesses nearby are ALL places to eat. Fresh Burger may be surrounded by competition but I have to say as far as quality burgers and fries go, this is the place. This is in fact the place where you can go and have their namesake, a Fresh Burger. So far I've only had the same thing as far as burgers here 3 times and that's the number 2 combo. While I've had variation on the fries with regular plain, poutine and what they call "Cali fries", their fries are really very fresh as well. They have a rewards card and on it besides having the stamp for rewards for poutine and burger combos, it mentions 100% fresh beef, no fillers, no preservatives, no BS just good classic burgers, hand cut fries, 100% Ontario potatoes, best tasting burgers and fries. OK so while some of those points are subjective, are they? I mean it takes some confidence to say you're the best. Sometimes it's justified and sometimes it's not. When it's not? The Earl of Sandwich claiming they have the best sandwich or something like that. In the movie Elf that restaurant claiming they have the best cup of coffee, etc. Fresh Burger makes a claim that is somewhat truthful on the subjective points. Their fact sheet on ingredients, well they are or they aren't. I'm going to say they are. The food here at Fresh Burger is pretty much simple. Simple like In-N-Out. If you've been there you know there's even less on the menu here (Fresh doesn't do shakes) but yes a single, double but at Fresh there's more toppings to consider. Different size burgers too so patties are either quarter pound (4 ounces) or 6 ounces in single or double forms. The only difference is the size of patties. The burgers are so fresh. I've seen them in ball / patty form. They are served west coast presentation as well, wrapped on one side and then half bagged so half is exposed. You can eat these without having to touch them. They are juicy so some dripping may occur. The Cali fries are basically a Canadian take on what is known as "Animal Fries" from In-N-Out. For those of you that do not know, they're fries topped with melted cheese sauce, topped with burger sauce (kind of like thousand island / Big Mac sauce) and sautéed onions. I think you either like this or you hate it. For some it may be too sweet because of the sauce or too many onions or just too much sogginess and too much going on. I like them and the serving is big. For the most part there's good value at Fresh Burger. The basic single quarter pound combo (Number 1) is 10.65 plus tax. That's not much more than McDonald's quarter combo but this place destroys Mc'Ds and I mean destroys them. For pretty much the same money I'm going to Fresh burger hands down. The quality of this place and value is just so much better than a conventional burger place and they're in the league with Five Guys I'd say. They more affordable than them even. Like Five Guys there's no tray which is kind of a bummer. No matter what you get your order in a bag at Fresh eat in or to go. It's more waste I suppose for packaging I can't say but they don't have food trays for eat in but then again there's no peanuts here either. Their fries are fried in canola. I asked a worker there to make sure it wasn't peanut oil because I was going to take my nephews here one day. Overall the quality at Fresh is amazing, great bang for the buck and one of the best fast food burgers out there in the GTA for a place that is a chain / small chain.

Cali fries -not nearly as good as I'd expected

I was a bit disappointed by their cali fries :( they looked so good in other pics so I was stoked to try them but they were just overly sweet and saucy. No real flavour and def not comparably to In&Out LOL I even couldn't believe someone said that! Also had a burger that was pretty good- I could tell it was fresh and I really appreciated that in comparison to the fast food burgers I usually eat lol. The burgers alone will make me come back!

Brightly lit and new unit, sharing the same parking lot as LA Fitness.

The place itself is pretty simple, more of a casual spot. Not super aesthetic or anything, but it's clean and works for a quick meal. It was busy when I went, so clearly a popular spot. We got a few things: the Oklahoma Fried double smash, the classic double, and the truffle mushroom Swiss double. The burgers were good, like no complaints, but I'll be honest they were kinda mid compared to the hype. The patties were cooked well and everything tasted fresh, but nothing really stood out or made me think wow I need this again. The onion rings were sooo good though. Easily the best part of the meal. Super crispy, not greasy, and just done perfectly. I'd go back just for those. It is a bit pricey though. The burgers are like $14-$18, and once you add sides it adds up pretty fast. For what you get, it does feel a little expensive. Service was good, everything came out pretty quick which I liked. Overall, it's a decent spot and worth trying once, but it didn't fully live up to the hype for me. I'd probably rate it around a 7/10, mainly carried by the onion rings lol.

First off, the food they gave me was incredible-super fresh, hot, and packed with flavor. You can tell they really care about the quality because everything tasted top-tier. But what made the whole experience a perfect 10/10 was the customer service. Huge shoutout to Khaled, who was incredibly chill and welcoming. He went above and beyond and even hooked me up with a free cookie with my order! It's rare to find a spot that has both elite food and legendary service, but these guys nailed it. I'm definitely making this a regular spot from now on. If you haven't checked them out yet, you're seriously missing out. 10/10!

From the moment we walked in, Khalid--now officially our "uncle"--welcomed us with warmth and hospitality that you just don't find everywhere. He made sure we were comfortable, checked in on us like family, and truly made us feel cared for. And the food? Absolutely incredible. I had the Hot Canadiana, and it was a flavor explosion--juicy, perfectly cooked beef with just the right kick from the jalapeños. Every bite had the perfect balance of spice, savoriness, and freshness. It was so good that I had to come back the next day for round two, and it was just as amazing. This is what customer service should be. Khalid uncle runs this place with so much love, and you can taste it in every bite. If you're in the area (or even if you're not-- I come from Pickering for), GC Burger deserves your business. I know I'll be back again and again!

The burgers were dry and crispy. I loved my burger, but my wife and grampa didn't and then the fries. They are edible, that's the consensus we came to, edible. I mistakenly ordered a large, it was a mistake because they suck. Super soggy and tasteless. I coated my fries in a meat rub and into the air fryer they went. I liked my burger, it was great. But my wife and grampa said theirs were dry and crispy. So it looks like 1/3rd of the time you'll get a great burger. I won't be going back. Sticking with the better gourmet burger places symposium or browns.

I had a hankering for something tasty but couldn't figure out what it was that I wanted. Japanese, Thai, Pizza or Burgers? Peeked at the menu online and with so many appealing options, still couldn't decide on what to get.. or whether to order online for pickup.. or get delivery.. so I drove my indecisive ass to Burger Bros after an hour of back and forth debating between restaurants! I was very hangry and my stomach was rumbling! Arrived at 6pm with no one in the place but me. The man taking my order was very friendly. I imagine that he's the owner. Asked him about two options; Adopted and Broski (not much of a difference between the two) and he recommended Step Brothers but I wasn't feeling a meat patty then and settled on the Broski instead. Wanted to wash my hands in the washroom but the WC was closed so the man allowed me to wash in the basin behind the counter. Appreciated that so much! After placing my order, dozens of people came through!! The place filled up rather quickly. I kept moving around like a chess piece on a chess board to make space while I waited. Within twenty minutes, my order was ready. The bag was piping hot, just the way I like it. There was no way I could wait to eat so I drove over to the next plaza, parked the car and devoured my sandwich. It was really good! Received three thick pieces of chicken strips in a brioche bun with lettuce, tomato, mozzarella cheese, pickles and various sauces. I inhaled my burger and said to myself, next time, I'll order two. No fries were consumed. Heard the portions are big and can be shared between two, so that's what I'ma do next time! Very affordable prices for the amount received. Much cleaner than other fast food joints.

From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with a smile and friendliness from the staff. Jenna took our order and was very nice to talk to. She made our experience a lot more pleasant and memorable. This location is great, keeping the same aesthetics and branding. I loved seeing new menu items, such as the Nashville Chicken, which I decided to try. The verdict? Everything was great! I love how the burgers are always made juicy, tasty and that you can customize the toppings you want. Pricing is affordable, and there is a great selection to choose from. The strawberry milkshake brought back memories of CNE and tasted like a funnel cake - it was the highlight drink for me. The oreo shake was also good, though I preferred the strawberry. I love the spices added on the tornado fries. I personally prefer regular fries or poutine over the cheesy fries, but I still liked the options available for the sides. I also love the jalapeño poppers and Mac n cheese bites. Washroom was clean and the location is ideal. Though there's many sifferent burger restaurants options in the area, I'd still opt in for Burger Factory as they always keep the consistency of freshness and quality.
