    Poutine

Came during grand opening period and received a fresh burger on the house. It was a 4 oz patty, with tomatoes, pickles, lettuce, cheese, and onions. The burger was quite small. Taste was alright, not too greasy. Wasn't too impressed with the lettuce; I like it when it's just a huge leaf rather than the sliced up ones you get from those salad bags. Definitely feels healthier than a lot of other burger places though, and the texture of the meat feels like meat. We also ordered a poutine. It came in a small styrofoam container. Cheese curds were nice and chewy, though the gravy was a bit too salty. Overall, it's not a bad option if you're craving burgers and looking for one that's not too heavy.

Fresh burger never disappoints! The soft bun and flavorful burger patty's make this my go to burger joint. Husband and I were craving burgers, and we were so happy this location was close by. We went in and you could smell the freshness from the parking lot. I ordered a fresh burger and fries. They loaded up the fries! We shared.. couldn't finish a serving all by myself. All in all the atmosphere of fresh burger is hip, fun, and very casual. Try it it! You are going to love it!

Reason for Visit: We the north! Dropped by the popular burger joint for their free 4oz promotion. Menu: Normally their 4oz combo is ~$10 so this was a great promotion worth my trip. The burger was FANTASTIC. It was juicy, big and quite flavorful. I unfortunately didn't get to eat it fresh from the grill, but even sitting in the car for ~15 mins it still tasted amazing at home. FYI, they literally do make the burgers fresh as the name suggests. Their poutine was super generous on the cheese/ gravy/fries ratio. However, I do wish they give you a bigger portion as they do charge a bit more than usual poutineries. Service: I don't think I had ever been to a burger joint with friendlier and more energetic staff. They were all smiles and even as I was picking up my order, the chef was real nice and polite. Atmosphere: Lots of tables. Nice big windows to enjoy the sun. Definitely, not a bad place to just chill and hang out casually with some friends enjoying some nice burger/ fries. Overall: Will definitely not hesitate to drop by again. Definitely will drop by if they do more of these promotions down the road. it is worth your time

Not much to point out here other than a staple-esque burger with all the foundations of a good burger. Found it a bit leaner, which is great. Could use a new logo though! Hah. Give me a shout.

We ordered two regular Prime Fresh Burgers with the Yelp bonus of a free poutine upgrade. The facility looked brand new in the modern strip center on Rutherford Road in Vaughan, Ontario. Very clean with friendly staff to explain how their burgers were different than the competition. To our tastebuds, it was obvious that the ground beef had never been frozen which helped out with taste and juiciness. They do the smashburger thing, making for a flat and irregularly shaped puck. That's fine, but it makes it impossible to really get the medium or medium rare finish desired. Both were nothing if not well done. Decent burger, but well within the range of what is available from all middle rung burger joints. Onions and pickles are added for free, other toppings (mushrooms, peppers) cost extra. The poutine was also middle of the road. The cheese curds were cool and the chicken gravy just made everything soggy. Hard to get excited about that. Perhaps, I just don't understand the poutine concept. Lots of extra fat with less enjoyable soggy fries. Yeah. It's me. Overall, we were okay with the burgers, but hoped for more from a their take on "Fresh."

Easily the tastiest burger in the area. I've been to a fair share of burger spots and normally the patties aren't seasoned. Their veggies are always fresh and vibrant. The patty is seasoned well. Their fresh sauce makes this burger a great alternative if you're craving In N Out burgers from the west coast. I would also recommend their poutine. You won't be disappointed.

Simple and sufficient menu. Great tasting burger and yummy poutine. A good drink selection (various kinds of pop with both Coke and Pepsi options). Friendly service and casual ambience.

This was my first time coming to Fresh Burger. I was ravenous after spending my morning at Canada's Wonderland. I was recommended this burger joint through a friend. First impression when I walked in was how clean this restaurant is and how extremely friendly the staff were. My order: Double Primeburger (12oz) with Poutine, Prime Burger (6oz) with Cali Fries, and Arizona Half Iced Tea & Half Lemonade. Standard toppings are lettuce, tomato, and their house sauce. Onions and pickles are available on request. Additional toppings ($) include bacon, caramelized onions, sateed jalapenos, and mushrooms on your burger. Great selection of drinks to choose from. Burgers were made on the spot. Staff checked up on their customers to ensure the order was correct and the quality met their expectations.

I WAS NOT IN THE MOOD FOR A BURGER....so where did I end up? You got it! Fresh Burger in Vaughan (It's a long story). Walked into this newly minted location, located across the street from Vaughan Mills, on the north side. This location was nestled in an unsuspecting strip mall next to a Coppa's supermarket and not easily seen from the road. Walked in, it was quiet (8:ish pm). I found it nicely laid out and very clean. We walked up to the counter to order and Zal behind the counter explained the menu and choices to us as if it was his first time doing this, his enthusiasm was infectious. I just wanted some fries maybe a poutine, but Zal's enthusiasm made me want to try more so we all ended up ordering burgers fries and poutine, hell, I was not in the mood for a burger remember. The food was cooked up in a jiffy, and first bites were amazing! I finally found a franchise that can cook up a...well....Fresh tasting Burger!! The fries where also very good and made from real potatoes. I later found out that Zal was co-owner and he informed me that the fries were made Belgium style (re-fried to ensure crispness) thus explaining why my poutine was soooo good and not soggy. If for some reason you are not in the mood for a burger, give FB a try, you'll be glad you did!

Saturday afternoons got me hunkering for a good burger so I thought I would try this newcomer to my hood. Very simple yet straightforward menu giving you choice of combos and varying size burgers. I chose a prime burger and the regular burger combo (6oz and 4oz respectively). Prices are comparable to Five Guys however the toppings cost 1.50 for any special items that Five Guys gives you free (on some). Patties are fresh not frozen and the fries were pretty good and generously given. I would recommend share one order fries between two people. They also offer a cool selection of pop and cuz I worked hard today I spoiled myself with a cream soda!! Place was clean, service fast and friendly! Definitely would return when the next craving hits!

OMG what's not to love!?…read more The first time I tried Smoke's Poutinerie was at a kids festival at the Markham Fairgrounds. Crispy fresh warm fries, the gravy is insanely good and full of flavour and it all comes together with their cheese curds evenly topped! Once I found about this location, I have gone back at least half a dozen times since. My youngest asks for it at least once a month. I just wish they would open a Markham location. The options for toppings and add-ones is endless! Our first visit to this location my youngest was curious about trying bacon with his poutine, they were so kind and (free of charge) gave him a small cup of bacon to add in to his poutine to see if he would like it. This is his usual poutine every time we go back. Generous portions, fries are amazing, fast service and a cozy place to eat in!

In my opinion, if fries are going to be the only thing offered, it better be the best fries ever, and sadly, it wasn't. The fries tasted a bit stale, although it felt like it was made to order? I think it has to do something w the fry quality. Flavor overall felt lacking and the dish was salty in weird ways. A plus is that the curds were melted, but other hand that, I didn't care for it. For the Philly Cheesesteak, I was disappointed to see yellow cheese sauce too?? I felt like it was supposed to be provolone or something more reminiscent of an actual Philly. Overall, I've had better poutine and I was told by locals this was the best Toronto had to offer....I probably wouldn't come back to eat this unfortunately. The service was good though and the girl who helped us was really nice.

But this place has perfected it! Who knew perfectly cooked smoked meat in between slices of untoasted rye bread and a small amount of mustard would be such a dreamy combination. Montreal smoked sandwiches can be found in our very own backyard here at Sumilicious. The poutine is everything you want it to be! Was so impressed with the place, we decided to order a whole turkey for thanksgiving..it was alright, don't think we will be doing that again though. You pay by the pound after the meat has been cooked so it shrinks in size but still ends up being quite expensive. But I will stay the staff care so much about their products. Amazing Montreal Smoked Meat Sandwich!…read more Sumilicious is my favourite place for Montreal Smoked Meat Sandwich! I highly recommend ordering their Smoked Meat Sandwich (~$17). The smoked meat tasted fresh, tender, and succulent and pairs well with mustard. I personally ask for extra mustard. If you're very hungry and can eat a lot, Small Plate of Smoked Meat (~$26) is perfect too, which includes enough smoked meat, slices of bread, and mustard packets for 1.5 sandwiches. I also love their Jar of Regular Pickles (~$7)! If you like pickles, their pickles pairs well with the Smoked Meat. Service is quick and isn't that busy during lunchtime. Good amount of seating available. Prices may be a tiny bit expensive but the quality of their Smoked Meat is great!
