    Impossible priest

Forgive me father for I have sinned. It has been 5 years since my last visit! I have been hearing about burger priest's vegan burger, aka Impossible priest, aka the Daniel, for quite a while. Today I got to try it out. This is as good as it gets when it comes to veggie burgers. Greasy just as you expect it from burger priest. Ask for double patties trust me. Meal comes with a generous serving of fries & a pop. Dine-in available during COVID, but they do take attendance! No biggie. Overall great burger. I strongly recommend it. As always don't knock it till you try it!

Great location and good quality food! The cashier was in training when we came in but otherwise, it was a great experience. They had everything we wanted. We got the "Impossible Priest" to try (Impossible burger with vegan items on it, which is not the same as the Vegan Burger, and also not on the written menu), which was surprisingly really good honestly. If you were to give me that instead of a regular burger and not told me, I would have not known the difference. Otherwise, everything else was standard and good!

Tried the Chicken Low Priest burger (fried chicken breast, secret sauce, tomatoes, onion, pickle) and added mushrooms for an extra $1today. Great burger and another good alternative to the traditional burger. They also encourage social distancing and all of the employees had PPE.

Glad to have found a great burger place close to me, with a good reputation across the city that proved to stand at this location. We started out with delivery, but more recently have opted to order directly from them to avoid third-party fees, and the shop is really much closer than we had initially thought! Still a short drive, but not too much hassle. We've tried the Priest burger a few times - a single patty with cheese, topped with a deep fried portobello mushroom cap stuffed with cheese. It's like two burgers in one because the portobello mushroom cap is a popular choice alternative to meat burgers. With all the classic toppings stacked up, it really does look like the photo and tastes great! One of my biggest challenges is finishing the burger because it is quite filling, and overcoming the amount of sodium that goes into the burger. Multiple times afterwards I've felt very dehydrated and feel my body slowing down like a satisfied snake needing to safely rest and digest its meal...some may say the food coma is a sure sign of a great meal, but I found it to be very uncomfortable and left me questioning when I'd be back next, and if there's something else on the menu that wouldn't be so daunting. As with any great burger joint, there's milkshakes! Not a huge variety of flavours, but a few to pique interest. Unfortunately they're not as thick as I would like and they're on the sugary sweet side as opposed to flavourful, but still a solid choice as a dessert to accompany/offset the burger. With limited alternatives nearby it's not a bad option, though not on my top list. Delivery and takeaway options are carefully packed and well designed to survive transport, so order confidently! Just be warned you should have lots of water while to eat, and definitely consider scaling back no matter how enticing the menu sounds!

The Priest is the only burger you should order! Not my first time here at Burger's Priest but it is my first time at this location. Was watching Mike Chen (Youtuber) in NYC eating the portobello mushroom burger and it had me craving! So my friends and I decided to hit up Burger Priest. To be honest, I was reading the most recent reviews and was pretty worried, a lot of complaints about their not-so-fresh ingredients and their "thin-out" patties. Nonetheless, I wanted to give it a try anyways. We walked in and was pretty shocked how quiet it was for a Sunday Lunch. There was no line up at all and we ordered. We enjoyed "The Priest" (the portobello mushroom with a cheeseburger pattie) and "The High Priest" (which is their Big Mac). We also paired it with "The Mayham Fries" (Poutine on top of chili" and a can pop. Everything was roughly around $34. We found a nice seat by the window (great for photos) however, it oddly smelt like urine. So yeah, we quickly moved as far as we could. The food came out fairly quickly, it was pretty sad to see the amount of food we ended up receiving for $34. The fries were meh. Nothing special especially for the price tag on it. Let's talk burger. The High Priest was again meh, nothing special and was under seasoned. The ingredients tasted fresh but the burger itself was not hot, but room temperature? ON THE OTHER HAND, The Priest was great. My all-time favourite burger and it was perfect. The combination of the crunch from the portobello mushroom cap, to the hot melting cheese, and the soft buns. It was all I wanted in my $10.49 burger. Some Notes: - If you wanted more napkins, you must ask - If you wanted more utensils, you must ask - Pricey place for mediocre burger and fries - Service was meh (when my number was called, I placed the number on the counter, the kitchen staff rolled his and told me to place the number in the bin) - well my bad! Would I come back? Probably not, maybe if I crave the portobello mushroom burger. I'll probably just grab that and have it with a Costco poutine. - I will make sure this time I place the number in the bin ahah! Anywho, give them a try if you don't mind dropping $34 for 2 burgers and a couple bites of fries Happy Belly!

This maybe the best Burger's Priest location in terms of seating arrangement that I have been to. Compared to their first location where everything started, at least I have somewhere to sit and somewhere to wash my hands before and after I enjoyed my meals. I would highly recommend The Vatican or any variations Vs the normal or my Holy Smoke. If you do want to go all the way, that buttered grilled cheese buns were just so sinfully good. The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse seems to be the ultimate to order but it was just little too much with all the elements. Overall, I found most of the food a little too salty for my preference and I would not order the fries nor the chili fries again. I probably would be back for The Vatican. And The Vatican Only.

My favourite burger in the world! I think it depends what kind of burger you're into, to say this place is a 5. To me it's the best because the burger is so juicy and the bun that they use is soft and tasty. When I bite into it, its heaven. It is a bit greasy and Holy Chuck is the closest burger I can think of, but I prefer this burger place. The only thing I wish is that they are bigger in portion and that if they can be a bit less pricey. The first place I've been to is the one by the Beaches, I believe. That place had long line up, down the street already. I want to go back here again!

This place is a shell of its former self since being acquired. They are overpriced and the burgers are small and dry.

Counter service was friendly too. Ordered their signature Mustang Sally again, an impressive double cheeseburger stacked with beef bacon, caramelized onions, mushrooms, and crispy onion rings. The hand-pressed prime beef patty was clearly freshly ground with decent amount of salt & pepper. It was also drizzled in plenty of house white sauce to chowdown. One of the better burgers I've had recently, and good value these days at $15.99. We also had the cheeseburgers with hand cut fries. The restaurant was not very busy on Friday evening. I wanted to sample a good representation of what they have to offer, so I ordered the Mustang Sally ($15.99) and made it a combo for an additional ($5.99). The order came out in a metal tray to keep everything together and makes it easier to clean up after. Though it was greasy, like expected, I still did enjoy the burger. It was a tall burger with a wooden stick that went through it to keep it standing vertical. What was subpar was the fries that came with the combo. It was one of the more dull tasting fries I can remember having at quick serve restaurants. It was not at all crisp, flavourful, or crunchy. The fries were bland, so I had to tear up a lot of condiment sachets available near the front counter.
