Some of my hesitation was tempered by past experiences with florists that left me feeling empty afterwards for various reasons. My wife has used GAIA to send flower to friends and has always been wowed by their creations and customer service. For our 32nd(!) anniversary I decided to try them myself. Rather than 'phoning it in' I decided to visit their location in the Arts District in person, in part, to get a sense of the vibe. From the moment I stepped through the door my entire perspective changed and that 'feeling' I always strived for would manifest in wonderous ways. I relayed to Ashley that I was clueless as to the specifics of what I was looking for other than I did not want an emphasis on roses and that I envisioned something 'brighter' and 'exotic' (whatever that means). My wife had always trusted GAIA to design a creation using their intuition and the results were always magical so I was more than comfortable requesting the same. The result was more glorious than I imagined. From Ashley's spirit to the level of comfort I felt throughout the process and, more importantly, the beautiful and fragrant arrangement delivered to our home by GAIA's own staff. I wasn't home and she texted me to make sure I would be home for the delivery. She was more than communicative and her driver waited for me to arrive home. He came back multiple times and despite me being stuck in traffic, he came back later at night once again to drop off the flowers on my special day. The flowers were gorgeous and I unfortunately was not able to get a picture before. They lasted well over a week and arrived beautifully kept.

She tried to tell me she will only pay for one shoe because they only damaged one...it's a pair of shoes if you wreck one you wreck both. She then told me I need to tell her my shoe size and send her a picture of the shoe so she can talk to other business. She wouldn't listen to a word I said when I explained it wasn't about getting a shoe it's about the shoe that I worn on my wedding. Then she says so they are not new if you wore them !!! I emailed her after my wedding because she still owes me $30 and I gave her a week to respond....she never did. She will take your money and run with it. I had 150 guests at my wedding. As a bride you are pulled left and right on the day off. Due to 1 misseed phone call from her on the day of the wedding, she took it upon herself to act like it was her day and not mine. She left centerpieces on the floor and didn't bother putting them on the table. She left a mess for other people to clean up. I booked her a year in advance and on the day of my wedding she said she had another event to tend to. Her centerpieces fell apart before the wedding even started. Like I said, you only get married once. She was my biggest downfall on the day of my wedding. I missed photo shoots with my bridal party because they had to fix her mess. The issue I had wasn't huge-- it was that the size of the bouquet delivered was different from what I ordered. I contacted the shop, and they were very willing to make good on it and gave me options. The bouquet itself was otherwise spot-on; it was beautiful and delivered as scheduled. Between the quality of the bouquet, the reasonable prices, and (especially) their above-and-beyond customer service, I highly recommend this shop and I will patronize them again. Buy local!
