In the several reviews I have given, there just wasn't room to list them all. Mr. Payne, you are quite aware of the issues and had you not screamed on the phone, then hang up this could have been resolved. As for the mistreatment of your crew....your nose is growing. I had very little contact with your crew and was never aggressive. That is what you have been! YOU should be careful about being slanderous and libelous. There are several of their services that have interested me as I begin a full restoration of an old house that has been in my family for decades. Just wanted to share a quick recommendation if anyone is looking to have any remodeling or painting done. Fresh Image in Canton originally painted the exterior of our house a few years ago. They did a great job and have kept in touch and offered things like power washing and free touch ups each year. Because of the positive experience, We reached out to them regarding a remodeling job on the main level of our 1991 Sunflower house. We were looking for someone to refinish and stain our floors and railings, refinish and paint our cabinets, add some crown molding, paint the living room, kitchen, bathroom, and dining room, and then help us convert our unused formal dining room into a more functional room by adding some custom shelves and a ceiling fan. They came out and gave us a great quote and plan, started the job within a few weeks, and went above and beyond on a number of things, including RE-sanding and RE-staining our floors after they thought the could do better after the first round. I thought they looked fine, but they ended up looking MUCH better after the second round. They even pulled our fan blades down and stained them to match the floor, and fixed some molding that was damaged in our basement. Just a bunch of little things that really add up. Anyway, Sam, Angela, Jason and the guys are great (and easy) to work with and it seems that they can do just about anything in terms of remodeling, painting, roofs, etc. for a good price. Fresh Image did an amazing job on my basement! They took my raw unfinished basement and turned it into the focalpoint of my home!!! I did the obligatory 3 quotes and Fresh Image was an easy selection. They had very creative and amazing recommendations to get me the basement I was looking for. The crew were very respectful, skilled, fast and knowledgeable! In 3 short weeks, my basement went from concrete walls and floors with ugly subfloor ceiling to a true masterpiece. Received a detailed quote and a nice phone call about scheduling an exterior painting in the spring. Good customer service! I'm excited to work with them in choosing a paint color for my house. Update- I signed the contract and work is scheduled to begin in April. I will update on the process when the work is complete. Another update-5/18- Work was finished a few weeks ago. They did a great job. I'm very satisfied with the work. The things I value about a company is customer service and communication. This company has great communication. Horrible horrible work, quality, LOUSY PREP, LAZY as if they disconnect something they won't or don't know how to reconnect it, they have you sign a contract that they don't follow, a quality paint job to them means SPRAY PAINTING EVERY THING THEY THINK YOU MIGHT CHECK! Except the backs of closet doors, doors that lead to steps, window sills, behind mirrors, all of the pieces of something,...or steps leading to the basement and the laundry room! But if you have a problem having your smoke detectors, window screens, chandeliers, dust, spider webs, electrical outlets, heating grilled and grates, door knobs and locks, toilet paper holder, stair railings(partially painted),doorbell speaker, carbon monoxide detector, door hinges, moldings and every floor that touches a wall grittily painted or over sprayed so that it looks like a shar pei puppy, then this is the circus act for you! But they cost our family at least $100k with everything that happened. And I have the pictures and estimates and receipts to prove it. read more

And our house was in ROUGH shape - I really wasn't sure if painting would even work, but the old girl looks GORGEOUS! Sam and Angela have been excellent to work with - and Jason and his crew are TOP notch. Super spreaders. But not in a good way. We initially had interior painting scheduled for the End of March of 2020. As for many of us, things changed when we began to work from home and home school. Having an ill family member I had some concerns about strangers in our house. The sales people stated it was business as usually and was told it was a "small family business" and everyone was healthy. They were very insistent on coming. Eventually, I switched them to do the exterior as my frail family member didn't feel comfortable. Glad I never let them in. They were pretty harsh to our landscaping. Asked for the final check before they were done. The SECOND they got the check they were gone. Left tools. I called back because some of the windows and back door looked like a kindergartner had done them. Some did come back and redo them. Said it was the guys first day. They redid some stuff in the wrong color. Said they would return but never did. I could call but some of the guys were a bit menacing. Had lots of bumper stickers about how they would gladly shot you if you trespass yet they had no problem trespassing on my neighbors property. My neighbors did not appreciate their property being used as toilet as well and dumping paint and used rollers. I made them cookies. We're good now. I would not recommend these painters if you value your health, landscaping, relationships with your neighbors or peace of mind. read more

I call him every time I need a job done. When he sits down with me at the kitchen table, it is like seeing an old friend. I am very picky about details, and Sam goes above and beyond to accomplish my painting projects to the highest degree of satisfaction. His Crew Supervisor, Jason is very skilled and made suggestions of things I didn't even consider, and his team is just amazing. Through the years Fresh Image has painted the outside of my home several times, and has recently painted my interior. Love, love, love my home now! I recently bought a new home and lets just say the colors that the prior owner put up where a nightmare! Fresh image changed that. Not only did they paint my entire home but they also helped me choose colors that would help best bring out the natural beauty of the house. My cabinets were a out dated looking brown. Painting them white gave my kitchen a huge update without having to pay a million bucks to replace them! Im pretty picky but these guys did an emacculant job, even painting the molding whit in my home made all the colors just pop! They finished the job early and were professional. I am here to provide a detailed story of my experience with fresh image. First of all, I want to get it out there that I am not from around here and that this if my first time requesting this kind of service. So, I was not fully aware of how everything works out. Overall, I was not satisfied with the job that was done by Fresh Image. Especially with their empty promises, attitude towards the whole job and the damage that has been inflicted to my house. I highly would avoid this company in the future and I hope my story can be an input for you. First time meeting with Sam the owner of Fresh Image, he seems really nice and passionate about the job. He made me feel comfortable with the amount of "references" that he brought and assures me that they are the right company to do this job and the only one that will be able to do it well. He was kind enough to provide me with a deal if I can make the decision within 24 hours. This should have been a red flag for me, but I did not know any better. I signed the contract and was excited to start the renewal of my first house. He initially stated that the job will be completed within 5 days, and everything will look great. Unfortunately, the time that he provided clashes with my flooring schedules. However, he urged that paint should be completed first, and then he'll definitely come back for all touch ups to make sure everything looks great. I kindly asked my flooring guys to reschedule to accommodate the paint job. When the job started, fresh image covered most of the items just like what a professional would. The only thing that I noticed is that the door knobs for my interior door are not removed. They were just covered. Which again, I did not know any better so I didn't say anything. Fresh image also helped me with some basic wood trim work installation, which was agreed upon at the start. Sam asked for extra money for the trim work, because it takes more time than they expected and I agreed because the workers seems really nice. 6 days passed, and on my moving day, I needed to wait for an extra 5 hours because the initial job that they promised never got finished on time. Even though the job was not completely finished, they asked to be paid in full. At that time, I was quite satisfied with their progress and agreed to do so. This is the biggest mistake from my end. About 3 weeks later, they came back for "final touch ups". Of what is supposed to be a 2 days job, became almost a full week because their crew never showed up for a full day. Fresh image also promised that there will be a cleanup with the final touch up. The cleanup did not happen at this stage. At one point during this touch up, I came home with my whole bed covered with drywall dust. My brand-new granite counter top was covered with mudding and drywall dust as well. My brand-new wooden floors were also trashed with white paints, mudding, dust. Apparently during final touch up, nothing in my house should be covered. This behavior really pissed me off and I contacted the owner straight away. Sam, instead of believing what I was saying, went into denial and stating that his crew did what was supposed to be done. Finally, after seeing the condition that my house was left by his crew. He stated that he was embarrassed that no cleaning has been done, and that the painting was not completely perfect either. He also stated that he will get a dedicated team to make things right. He thought that everything should be done since when he showed my house to my neighbors to try to get more work, it was almost perfect. I was never asked for permission for them to show the inside of my house whilst my personal belongings are inside of the house, but I didn't think much of it. I once again trusted him to do me right. His crew showed up again, which apparently only consist of one single person. This person was supposed to clean my whole house within 2-3 days. Within those 2-3 days, he only showed up for a whole day like for one or two days. The next 3 days he only showed up after noon because scheduling conflict. He cleaned up most of the items quite well, but did a horrible job with finishing paint. Touch-ups was done with different colors and never completely finish the job. Sam came again to check the whole process, because I asked him to. I mentioned about the white marks on the hardwood floors and all of the paint mishaps. He back-peddled and stated that the previous guy should have never done any painting job, but he would be more than happy to fix everything and stated that the markings on the floor will all be removed. Updated Sept 2018: Don't Hire This Company! My house looked good at first, but 2 years later my house looks worn and bad. My house was done in June 2016 but by March 2017, the deck had a lot of chipping and I had noticed parts of the house needing touchups and correcting too. Areas were chipping, bubbling, peeling because the prepwork (sanding, removal of old caulk, scraping) was not done (I was not home to monitor). Areas that werent sanded already looked warn and peely. I called and they finally sent someone out August 2017 who agreed that it looked bad and told me the guy who painted my house was no longer employed. They redid deck and touchups. Some touchups looked better, but others did not because the full prep wasn't done, they just "touched up the paint". "Sam the owner" came out to see me. "Sam the owner" is a completely different person than "Sam the salesman" that you meet when getting a bid. He was aggressive and rude and would not own the poor job or poor prep. After I called him out on his behavior and the shotty work, he finally offered to do touchups again (next year!!!!). They pushed me off until August 2018, a full year!!) I walked out to see one guy had FINALLY scraped out old caulk and was prepping to refill and paint! I thanked him and asked if this was a typical expectation of a paint job. He said absolutely and was surprised it had never been done on my house. I showed them that my deck was ALREADY CHIPPING AGAIN, which he couldnt explain either seeing as the areas are not high traffic or rotten. He said he would talk to Sam about it, but Sam never responded or called. BOTTOM LINE: If you want lipstick on a pig, hire this company. Lipstick wears quickly and your house will look like a pig in no time like mine does. I thought this investment would last at least 8 years and mine looked crappy after 9 months! You can't correct a job where the prep wasn't done without completely redoing the home. They talk a good sales game, dont buy it! I trusted what they sold, Sam and Angela, but it is all untrue. We were thrilled when they gave us such a great quote. They started painting at the end of November 2016 and absolutely ruined the outside of our home. Took months for them to finish a job they should have waited till spring to do. Paint is very thin in spots. Overspray was everywhere ruining our shingles, chimney, our sons play house and railing all around our deck. Cleaning windows sills today and they caked with paint making it impossible to get clean because of the grit. Under our gutter paint is all chipping off. We had so many pushed off phone calls that my husband went to their "office" on the business card and it's not their office. Workers leaving for lunch at noon and then not returning till hours later to not finish the job but collect their supplies. In a neighborhood like ours painting is huge, I will make sure that anyone who asks knows what a bad experience we had with them....but they did offer us a free power wash! I would not recommend this company to paint. They postponed once then a second time. They blamed delays on the weather, worker issues and my family schedule. I told the person who called that it was very upsetting to have another delay that would have been another two weeks. I informed him that I would not give a good review and he in turn threatened to put me on a bad customer list for contractors.
