They were making fresh chicken and steak as we walked in so we didn't get what was just sitting out which was nice. I first tried FK in South Tampa back when they first opened years ago, and was NOT impressed. I went once with a friend and never again. I have a feeling it was because I did not know which items pleased my palate. This past week, my aunt and I decided to have lunch at this new location near my house, and I am pleased to report that my bowl was absolutely delicious. I ordered the 3 bowl which included one base, one veggie, one protein, and one sauce. I had the brown rice with lemon garlic broccoli, grilled citrus chicken, feta cheese (an add on option for a small additional cost), and the herb balsamic vinaigrette. It's like a cava or chipotle where you make your entree selection and move through the line picking your toppings. I love that they have low carb healthy options. I got the cauliflower rice with green beans and salmon. I think I got a garlic sauce on the side. I also liked that they had some sugar free drink options. After we went thru the line there was absolutely no seating. This place was packed. So we ate in the car and went in for refills. absolutely DELISH!!!! Crossing my fingers and toes we can get a fresh kitchen to come to omaha nebraska because the unhealthy midwest is in dire need of a seed oil free haven!!! I just have to say how much i can't get over being SO impressed with the ingredients. Everything is so whole foods based and clean as could be down to the dressings -- makes me emo to finally see REAL food being served. You know it's quality when you eat a massive plate of food and leave feeling satisfied, energized, and nourished instead of greasy, heavy and gross. The table got different spreads but the sweet potato noodles were the biggest stars! I loved the flavor of the citrus chicken -- it wasn't chewy or bland or too salty. The blackened chicken is rich with flavor and the steak just enough. I honestly didn't try something that I didn't like! The ginger rice was really good but it is definitely a strong ginger flavor and it was in competition with other flavors on my plate. Alas, still delicious. Fresh Kitchen is a new American elevated restaurant. My family and I ordered on a busy weekday. This place looked crowded from the outside. We pulled up to the drive thru and our food was ready to go. Some of my favorite ingredients include the broccolini, steak, chicken, and the sweet potato noodles. Also the sauces here are on another level. The coconut sriracha, creamy white ginger and herb balsamic vinaigrette were some of my favs. I really enjoyed the combination of flavors and how fresh everything was. Fresh Kitchen is finally open in Lutz! Even though it was only their second day being open, things were running smoothly and our food was great. Everyone in our party was very happy with their food. Only misstep was they forgot to give us our drink cups so we had to go back up to get them (slightly annoying). Also the girl serving the protein couldn't answer our questions about which options were thigh, breast or mixed but there was a supervisor near by to save the day. So they could improve on employee product Knowledge but I'm sure this will get better over time. The inside is fun, fresh and welcoming. I'd never been to a Fresh Kitchen before, but a friend highly recommended it, so I was happy to see this one pop up just 4 miles from my house. I went for lunch which is a big mistake if you're looking to sit down and enjoy your meal on site. There's no parking to be found anywhere, and it was standing room only inside the dining room. If you're coming for lunch, I would suggest using the convenient drive thru option and taking your food to go! The food was delicious. The first time I went I did the biggest one, I liked it and it gave me the opportunity to try alot of flavors, but together in one bowl it was too much. So my second time I did the medium, I think its called the 4 bowl. Heres what I had: Double the sweet potato glass noodles Broccoli Blackened Chicken Creamy ginger sauce This bowl was awesome! It did not have alot of competing flavors since I only picked one base and doubled it. FK management, heres a tip, come up with a few curated bowls and allow the creator to name them. With Fresh Kitchen the latest on the Land O Lakes food scene, we decided to stop in for lunch today. Food is fresh and tasteful. There are plenty of options to create your perfect bowl. I had the four bowl with Steak, kale, sweet potatoes and ginger lime rice, which was very good! We do have one minor complaint, there is not enough parking for the restaurant. Based on food and service, I would have given this a much higher review. I also love their outdoor seating area which is in a busy area but the way it's setup, it seems quiet. This was the first time taking my hubby and he loved the food. However, between our two bowls (which were prepared today, 2/9 at around 1:30ish) we had a total of 5 hairs, one attached to a piece of plastic wrap and he had a sharp piece of plastic in his that was so sharp it scratched his throat before he spit it out (looked like a piece of a plastic fork but it was not the same color as the fork he was using, so wasn't from his). Been an avid fan for years! Brought my coworker and her fiancé here for dinner on a Saturday night. They were very excited and also hungry as we approached the restaurant. Now I do understand that the food is prepared fresh and daily (which is appreciated), however I'm curious... it seems steak is very popular so I'm hoping in the future we don't have to wait for steak given the demand.
