We ordered the beef shawarma platter, lamb kabobs, and baklava cheesecake. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and seasoned perfectly. Restaurant was clean, white table cloths, older decor and booths, but cute. Place was full of two large family groups celebrating the holidays together. Bathroom could use a better cleaning and update. We decided to get a small appetizer plate: Humus, Baba Ghanhuj, Falafel, Labneh, we opted for no grape leaves as we don't prefer them and got extra falafel instead. Portion was great. Our favorites were the Labneh absolutely delicious and perfect taste and texture, humus was seasoned perfectly and falafel was good, but I can't say it was amazing though, something was missing in taste to me. We also ordered the mixed meat entree, portion was large, no way I could have eaten it alone! We shared and still had left overs. The entree came with Kufta Kabob, beef shawarma, chicken kabobs, beef shish kabob, tzatziki, fattoush salad, pita, basmati rice. We had wanted a side of extra tzatziki but instead received a large side dish of tzatziki (we let it go, but neither of us truly enjoyed the tzatziki that much. It was bland to our liking). The one thing we absolutely did not like was the bland, no dressing fattoush salad. It literally had no dressing, no taste, not recommended at all, as the side. So here's what we did like a lot was the chicken kabobs, beef shawarma, basmati rice, beef shish kebabs, kufta kabobs, humus, and loved the Labneh on and with everything. The chicken kabobs were our favorite meat, tender, juicy, seasoned perfectly! We truly enjoyed and savored the Pistachio Baklava, so yummy for dessert! Overall we gave the place a 4 out of 5. We enjoyed our food, service was attentive and friendly. We had to downgrade from a 5 because we did not like the no dressing fattoush salad and the tzatziki tasted bland to us (we are used to the more Greek style). We will be back to try some other dishes!

The only miss for me was the raw white part of the green onions in the salad, they were a bit too chunky for my taste. The chicken, though? Perfectly grilled...crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. It came with a tzatziki sauce that was more on the liquidy side, which isn't my favorite texture, so I just used it as a dip for the chicken and hummus. Heads-up: the menu on their official site isn't updated, but if you Google "Tasty Mediterranean," it shows accurate prices and lets you order online. It came out to $17.99 plus tax , which is a little pricey for lunch, but the portions were solid and the staff were super friendly so no complaints there!

The food is always fresh, the service quick, friendly, and efficient, good sized portions of food, and very reasonably priced. My most recent visit I tried the Chicken Shawarma platter, and it was wonderful. Normally served with a garlic sauce, he substituted tzatziki when I requested it, which made it perfect. The chicken was carved straight off the rotating spit and heated on the flat grill, and was served with a small salad and hummus. Their hummus is really creamy and delicious. The platter is also served with a pita - keep in mind this is not the fluffy pita you're used to, but a Lebanese style large, almost flat pita, which is perfect for tearing apart and scooping up your food. Make sure to treat yourself to a piece of baklava for dessert - it is fresh and crispy and just the right amount of sweet. No real ambiance, but booths are available if you want to sit inside and eat. Totally a hidden gem, and I'll definitely be back.

We were greeted by a very nice young lady but she seemed surprised and somewhat taken back that we were there. She brought menus and asked for a beverage order. A coke and Diet Coke became an unknown brand in a small can served without ice. We ordered swarma sandwiches with fries and the beverage for an additional $3.50. When the orders arrived they were warm and very flavorful. We were still the only guests. Every table featured a Muslim table decoration that really made no difference to us but eventually we began to feel like we were strangers there. We noticed there were other folks in the kitchen and the waitress was not actually preparing our food. It was tasty and was spiced a little different than I have had before. The waitress brought our check on a portable card reader and I left our usual tip. We both felt a little out of place. The Yelp reviews were very positive but based on my search for middle eastern food in an area we have never been to, I was hoping for a more traditional food and service.

Angora did not disappoint! We arrived around noon on a Sunday and were seated quickly. We ordered the Breakfast for 2 and, coming hungry after the gym, we added a Lahmacun just in case. The breakfast also comes with a full pot of Turkish tea (enough to fill our glasses 6+ times!). For the egg dish, we chose the Menemen, and it was genuinely as good as what I make at home--which is saying a lot. We ended up taking more than half the Lahmacun home because the portions were so generous, but it was baked to perfection. The restaurant is very clean with an open-concept kitchen where you can see the chefs at work. We will definitely be back!
