I usually come here and everything is in order for me. Today was a different situation. I booked my…read moreservice via the Tires Plus app as always. I booked the Headlight service as I purchased my headlights on my own. Upon arrival at the location today I was greeted by Matthew who while checking me in noticed I had my headlights with me. He looked to the guy to the left and inquired if that was allowed on which I was advised by Spencer that they no longer install outside headlights and they have to be purchased through them. I asked if this was new as I have purchased my own for install previously and was advised it's been in place for about a year and a half to two years. As a consumer I would think something this specific would be advised during the booking of the service itself. As such, the fact that the app made no mention of this perplexes me. Now, I am on site at the location, I have purchased my headlights, and am in a place of do I leave and have a headlight out or pay the absorbent fees as I am forced to utilize the shop materials opposed to only paying for labor. Thennnnnnnn... I needed a tire replaced. The total was OVER $100, however, the $20 off coupon offered via CFNA (the Tires Plus Credit Card provider) wasn't applicable. Ughhhhhhhhh. Spencer (possibly the manager) explained that the coupon is for "SERVICE" ONLY. This means that the Labor/Service cost has to be over $100 for the coupon to apply. As you can see from the image, the coupon doesn't detail this separation. I'll be honest, I don't think today was my day for accuracy with the Tires Plus brand. ‍ I appreciate Spencer for the information he has been able to provide. I just wish the app was straight forward and spoke the same language as the shops, at least from the perspective of service deliverables. On a good note, the customer service provided by Matthew was stellar. However, even with the stellar service, as a consumer, I am baffled by the lack of advisory provided via the app during my booking process.

This group of guys are just the guys you want to be working on your car. They are knowledgeable,…read morefriendly, and fair. You can tell they not only have 'official training' and all the toys to do a great job on figuring out what is wrong and repairing your car, they have the thing that is harder to measure but much more valuable - experience. They have worked on new cars, old cars, red cars and yellow cars... little humor there. My air condition suddenly stopped working. I was fearful of a big bill. They started with the basics, checking freeon, it was low... so does that mean a leak? Instead of charging me to do all the tests and colored ink to find a leak, they did the simple blow and pressure test, and refilled with freon. So my total was under $200, on what could have been $500 at another garage that was all about testing and labor and driving the invoice up. A week or so later, I started hearing a sound with the air and took it back in. They hooked it up to a machine and did the dye test and refilled with freon again. No charge... 'let's see if it leaks again, if it does, we'll know where". So far so good. I just thought what a great group of regular guys you can trust.

These guys are great. Let me just start off with: They do phenomenal work at very reasonable rates,…read morethey're generous with their time and take responsibility for their work. They are 100% no nonsense. As a walking stereotype of a victim (young/single/female) I am always on the defensive in auto shops, but I've worked a lot on cars from changing a distributor to tearing apart the entire front end of a jeep, so I know nonsense when I hear it. Also, as I have a foreign car, I am particular about who I let work on it (as not all mechanics are familiar enough to do the work efficiently/correctly). These guys completely negate the stereotypical notions of auto shops. They weren't excessively friendly, meanwhile trying to swindle you out of every penny, they were direct, and honest. I like that from a auto repair shop. As long as I am in the ATL area, they will be my go to. One last comment: another review mentioned the state of their establishment as being unsatisfactory. But I appreciate that it is not a posh establishment. If it were, the customer would, in turn, pay for it. They spend money where it counts. Quality mechanics, tools, and parts.
