Had a long layover and decided to stop in for a beer and a sandwich. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich, and it was surprisingly good. The bun was soft, and the BBQ pork was juicy and flavorful. It came topped with slaw and pickles. Normally, I scrape off the slaw--especially if it's the heavy mayo-based kind--but this one was lightly dressed, vinegar-based, and added just the right tang. Alongside the pickles, it complemented the sandwich perfectly. The fries were undercooked and not particularly memorable. Service was excellent. Very attentive and kind. Didn't hover and did a great job checking in on me, a couple of times. It was a busy morning there, however, I didn't feel rushed out, as I was working while waiting for my flight to start boarding nearby. I made sure to give a cash tip, beyond my company's policy, as I felt like I was cutting in her ability to earn cash. She seemed grateful and tried to refuse, however, I wasn't having it, she earned it and could see she was working really hard to provide good customer service to all of the tables she was serving nearby. The restaurant was clean and tidy, as tidy as a high traffic airport restaurant could be. The menu is straight forward. It was like quality fast-food breakfast. I enjoyed it, not too greasy or heavy nor too salty. The bread was surprisingly delicious and perfectly toasted. The bacon was nice thick cut bacon. YUM!!! It was roomier than most restaurants, with luggage everywhere. One thing...it was SOOO HOT and I even saw the staff fanning themselves with the menus in between serving customers. What really stood out was how effortlessly he worked with his bartender--seamless teamwork, always in sync, and both constantly smiling. It's clear they love what they do, and it shows. Awful customer service experience. We waited over 30 minutes and no one came to take our order. I eventually went to the bar to try to order, but was met with a rude employee who aggressively told me I couldn't order from the bar if I was seated at a table. I explained the wait, but she simply snapped that someone would be there "soon." We waited another 20 minutes--still no one. I had to track someone down to finally place an order, and it still took another 20 minutes for our drinks to arrive. We only stayed because we needed to charge our devices. As we were leaving, that same employee was loudly yelling at her coworkers in a very unprofessional and condescending manner, including telling one to "get the f**k out of here." I came here yesterday on the way to Nebraska. Usually, I order the hamburger and fries when I sit down. I ended up ordering a bacon burrito to go. I didn't have too much time till my flight was ready to go out. It was a good-sized portion filled with bacon, eggs, cheese, potatoes, and salsa. It was wrapped up good and was still warm for when I ate it on the airplane! I also ordered a bottle of water. Burrito was $9.95, good price for nowadays. Water $3.25 a little high. $14 for both items total at self check out. Glad the nice counter lady told me about the burrito as a quick option. This restaurant always clean. When I sit in, I will order at the counter from now on instead of being waited on. Good vibe here and you can watch sports while eating. I definitely will be back. Date of visit: July 17 2023 While on an extended layover in Denver, I needed to find a place to set up shop for a bit and take some calls, preferably a high top table so I could stand if I wanted to after being on a flight for awhile. The Denver Central Market was just the place to do this. There were a few higher tables and it was quiet enough that I could spread out a bit and get things done. I grabbed a piece of pizza and a Naked Juice and was able to get quite a bit done with minimal interruption. I have to go three stars here though, as the pizza was not very good and gave me serious indigestion later in the day. The pepperoni on it was insanely over-seasoned, think they were trying to mask the lack of sauce and/or flavor in the sauce but I was not feeling all that hot afterwards and wouldn't recommend that. read more

If you are flying out of A50 - A84, Denver Central Market is one place you can chill out instead of crowded gate area. You can order pre-made sandwiches and other goodies. You can also order made to order pizzas and burgers. $15 burgers seems to be good deal. Pizzas were around $20. Not sure of the sizes. There are several kiosks to pay for grab and go items. There is also a bar in the center. The attendant was checking on customers if they needed load up on wine or beer. Very nice of her. Clean, quite and comfy seating. read more

Traveling with the fambam to Houston and we had a mad 8+hr layover at Denver. I just want a cup of hot tea and the coffee shops (specially the ones in the middle of the path) charge an arm and a leg! I was excited to see DCM in the airport - especially A gate which always seems light on food options- even more so for breakfast. I picked up a breakfast sandwich without any meat and for $10 this could easily feed two people. The roasted tomatoes and arugula pushed this breakfast sandwich into by far the best breakfast option in A gate. My only critique would be to perfect the kiosk system. It was a little confusing because they sit in the back and you end up ordering your food first and then walking back to pay but then the kiosk tells you that by paying you're putting in the order. All of the customers were chaotically wandering about. but overall it was fast, tasty, and super filling. They also have a small coffee menu to pair with your sandwich ; but you order the coffee on a different side than the sandwich. read more

Our flight was delayed a few hours, so we stopped by to kill some time. The ambience was chill and comfortable with a fair mix of upbeat music that would make most people happy. The waiter/bartender was busy but took good care of us. Our drinks were great, and far as airport restaurants go, the food was delicious and better than most. If the sandwich place was in my neighborhood, I would definitely go there for their absolutely delicious turkey sandwich. WATCH OUT!! They don't like to give refunds if you change your mind on your order! Check your receipts!! The manger will tell you "I closed your receipt with $0.00 so you won't be charged." And try to move you along. Everyone knows it must show a credit of the amount shown on the receipt that was charged. I made sure I got my receipt that shows a credit. Just aa quick stop for snacks of morning pastry before a morning flight from the A Gate area of DIA. The selection was immense and I looked at the sandwiches available to take out for eating later, either while waiting for a flight or for on the plane. There were several choices of fillings on a huge slice of baguette, at least a foot long! It was also nice to see plenty of dining seats inside and bigger menus. A real add to A Gate area in the newer section at the last pod of gates. If we were delayed some time and needed a bigger meal, this would be the best place in this general location. read more

Since it was near our gate, I stopped by DCM before my flight to Maine. Culture Meat & Cheese caught my eye, so I ordered an Italian sandwich. When I spoke with the cashier, he confirmed what I wanted but ended up giving me a turkey sandwich. Luckily they had a label on the outside of the box, so I pointed out that I wanted the Italian... The cashier just argued with me, rolled his eyes, and muttered about me to his coworker. So freaking rude. But he ended up making the correct one. The only reason this is a three-star review is because of the sandwich. Yes it was pre-made and stuck in the oven, but it was filling and reasonably-priced. The best part was the capers and oil. It'd order it again and will assume the awful cashier was a fluke. read more

Denver Central Market is located in the A terminal just between gates A46 & A48. I love this place because you can pick up some sushi, a sandwich, local ice cream or chocolates all at one quick and convenient location. There can be a bit of a learning curve to the check out process so I'm only giving them 4/5 stars. The scanners are located at the back of the market area and that aisle gets quite congested at time. They have 4 self check out stations which is terrific. The scanners are awkwardly placed to the right and slightly behind each checkout computer. Also if you want to remove one item from your purchase it clears the order and you have to start again. Even still this is my go to at the Denver International Airport. Some of my favorite purchases incluse: high quality sushi and the amazing Temper dark chocolate & carmel coated grah am crackers. Do yourself a favor and stop by! read more

Finding healthy food in an airport is never easy, so I was excited to see the "power grains" in Terminal A. Don't waste your $6. Half the ingredients listed on the label were missing- no baby kale, soy beans, or candied walnuts. Definitely no taste of lemon-herb vinaigrette. The flavor was described as "curried" but it just tasted off to me. It was just an oily mix of under-cooked butternut squash, quinoa, and garbanzos. Pass! read more
