Found this little place on Yelp. Pleasantly surprised. Got a box for my employees. Very good donut. Good service.

This donut place is small but they have very good donuts and service. I've gone a few times and always got the donut holes and a box of a dozen donuts. They always had donut holes in stock which were soft to the bite. There's also a good variety of donuts available as well as some classics like the sugar twists or old fashioned. The donuts were soft and not dry. The service is also very fast and it's not overpriced for a dozen. They also have snacks, and drinks available for purchase. read more

This place is super close by to where I live AND it's open 24/7! I went here with my boyfriend and our friends to grab some donuts and the man working at the time was really nice and funny! He explained to us that a dozen donuts is $9.00 and not the $7.99 advertised when you mix and match more than just the cake donuts, which is completely fine. We were all able to pick out the donuts we wanted and he even gave us an extra donut! So, we got 13 donuts for $9.00! How sweet! They didn't have any donut holes when we went, but that's ok. I've been here once before and ordered those and they were pretty good and they're only $1.50! When I went this time I finally got the blueberry donut that everyone in the reviews talks about and it was really good! I only got one, though... but next time I come back I'll get some more! I will definitely be back whenever I'm craving donuts or something sweet! read more

I always forget this place is CASH ONLY! So don't come empty handed. I only like this place because they make blueberry donuts, and they're pretty good! All the other donuts are basic and are just as good as any other donut shop. I love how they're open 24/7! However, the customer service is mediocre. The location is okay, definitely not the safest.. Certainly more than meets the eye. Don't let the busted "h" light in their "Freshh" logo fool you, this bakery is full of tasty goods for incredibly low prices! I often frequent this place during finals week at UC Riverside but I tend to come here whenever I'm in the plaza simply because it's just so hard to say no to the cheap deals this store has to offer! Donuts don't go for more than $1 or so and even their specialties are affordable. I've never tried anything other than their donuts and croissants but I do know that every donut I've ever had by them has always been fresh and delicious. The top choice for this store is certainly the donut holes. For $1.25 you get 12 delicious pieces and oftentimes the owner doesn't care to count so I end up with more than what I paid for-- thanks! read more

I got 3 types of donuts with my boyfriend here last time and it was delicious! We got a blueberry, chocolate, and chocolate with almond bits! My boyfriend really likes the blueberry one and personally I like the chocolate more! Will definitely be coming back when I'm craving donuts ! read more

I paid for half a dozen doughnuts and they were put in a bag. I proceeded to open my bag and find two full priced doughnuts the size of mini doughnuts. I was charged for half a dozen but received a deceiving bag of overpriced items. I proceeded to ask the owner for an exchange of the mini doughnuts for the full size I paid for and he decided to immediately argue with me in front of other customers. He exchanged one and left me with the other. I said I won't come back and he shouted at me while I was leaving and insisted that I never return. He offered to give me my money back but I refused a refund. I just wanted an exchange. I saw no reason for an argument and left very disappointed in the product I received but more so, with the way I was spoken to in front of other people. Inflation has effected all Americans but it is no excuse to cheat those who would rather pay even more than the inflated price for the intended products than to be cheated and disrespected over food. read more

Tried this place today for breakfast and the donuts holes were really good, not the best but still eatable and cheap. I see a lot of complaints about the service, but I had zero issues on my end. They were polite and took my order right away. Also, they do accept card, I saw 4 people after me using card to pay no problems. read more

If you're craving donuts this is the place to be! The donuts are always so fresh and delicious. Not to mention that it is also 24/7. The workers there are also super nice. A personal favorite of mine is the apple fritters! The only thing you should keep in mind is the fact that they only accept cash when it gets really late. Totally worth the try though!!! read more

Everything about this donut shop was perfect except for the sanitation. As soon as we walked in, we saw the owner swatting flies with his rag. I prayed that a fly wouldn't end up in our box. Anyways, we order a dozen mixed donuts (which are a dollar extra for choosing different kinds of donuts that aren't classified "cake")! They all looked so delicious! We actually received a baker's dozen, which I really appreciated! The extra one was the Chocolate Coconut Donut and it was pretty good! My favorites out of the many were the Blueberry Donut and the Bear Claw. I was a bit disappointed that they ran out of Donut Holes by the time we got there, but we did arrive pretty late... But the owner did not even sugarcoat the bad news to me. No sorry, no nothing. Nevertheless, definitely coming back! It was okay. My experience was nothing special. Just your average run of the mill donut shop. I waited up until 2am to go there to get some fresh donut holes and to try their old fashioned blueberry donut some folks were recommending here on Yelp. There was only 1 man running the place -both cooking & selling the donuts. He was very busy, but nice and polite considering how much he was juggling on his own. Unfortunately, he was out of the old fashioned blueberry donuts and didn't have any fresh donut holes. I bought a dozen donut holes anyway, but they were a bit on the dry side. This place honestly seemed like every other donut shop. Being hungry around midnight, I stopped upon the place since it was open 24 hours. Right as I walked in, I was greeted by an elderly man who seemed happy. I ordered a few donuts and the man was very polite the entire time. After leaving, the man thanked me for coming in. I should have been thanking him for the donuts because when I tried it, I was very happy! I got a maple bar, as I usually do, and my friend got a regular sprinkle donut. I have never had a better donut! Krispy Kreme was a disappointment because I'd already tried Freshh. They are light, fluffy, expertly fried to a nice crisp, and unfailingly topped with some incredibly satisfying icing or glaze. If this place ever closed down, I would go into a period of mourning. Somebody else complained about the cash only policy. That's the price of the privilege of eating these donuts. I'm glad they're not getting stomped by transaction fees. I've only ever seen this place dark on Independence day, Christmas, and new year's eve. If you want a reliable and exceptionally delicious hookup for your donuts, this is it. read more

The shop owners are friendly. They work with UCR to provide donuts for events. They are open 24/7. The prices are average for what you'd expect all the way down the line. I was looking for a late night meal. This place kept coming up in the search. I much prefer a NY bagel, typically. But I read the yelp reviews and here I am. I am a believer. This place has excellent donuts. Perhaps the best donuts in the country. I told the owner what I thought of these donuts, and the beautiful man told me that he tries very hard to make the very best donuts. It literally brought a tear to my eye because, well, hell, that is the American dream and his passion and honesty are admirable. I tried not to, but I had three donuts the first time I was there. I went back less than a week later and took down two more, a week after that I took down two more. Luckily I went back home and did not have to see what would have become of me if I stuck around. Every donut is good. You cannot go wrong. Give them a chance. The American dream is alive and well with true Americans who came to this country for an opportunity. This is one of my favorite donut places in the UCR area. There's nothing fancy about the place, but there are always a good variety of fresh delicious donuts available at most times of day. One of my favorite donuts in the world, that I don't usually find at other places is here- a yeast risen donut, vanilla frosting and rainbow sprinkles. This donut instantly makes me feel like a kid again and I love to get it every time I come in. It also feels good to shop here because, from what I understand, it's a family owned and run shop. Awful horrible customer service. The guy has no respect for customers. I asked a simple question why prices went up and he was completely rude. My family is big on supporting family owned businesses. During the pandemic we even went there to support this donut shop. Never will we return again. Very disappointed in his attitude! The blueberry donuts were really good! Slightly crunchy on the outside, and the inside was warm and soft. I got 7 donuts and a ham and cheese croissant, it cost 7.25 total. I liked the ham and cheese croissant warmed up, the cheese was melted perfectly and the croissant was flaky buttery. The service was average, friendly and to the point.
