AVOID THIS PLACE. Stay away! I tried this place 3 times because it is close to my employer. In the final time I came here for an inspection and they charged me twice the price for Walmart tires as Walmart. When I called them out on it they said that is what I was quoted. I informed them that had they quoted me that price for that product I would have drove to Walmart to get them installed. They didn't stand behind their work and are extremely shady. Main concern was the check engine light. Took it back to them immediately. They got it in their garage, fixed the problem supposedly and called to pick it up. Drove it 213 miles and the check engine is back on!!! How amazing lol. So now we have it at a real garage. Trust when I say you will get ripped off by these people. If we would've known about the problem we would have fixed it and the price of the truck would have gone up. I'll put everything in the car. they never put the paperwork I asked for several times in the truck and read my other reviews on the entire extent of the problem and what was diagnosed and the recommended things to do but a few more responses from them We are very sorry you're not satisfied with the purchase however, it is a 15 year old truck, and it would be reasonable to expect to have to spend some money on it as well YEAH NOT THE DAY I DRIVE IT OFF THE LOT Unfortunately, because you are threatening legal action, we were forced to call our attorney and our attorney has advised us to no longer communicate concerning this. I guess we'll have to figure it out in court. all because I said I'm not a person to go and get a lawyer and report them to certain places but I want them to fix the problem because I bought it like that and they just refuse. i gave them several opportunities to fix it and each time they said no. I didn't start out being like that but when they don't want to take any responsibility cause the owne drove it and didn't feel it. I could see if it was weeks or months later but on the drive home for the love of god. and my other reviews give more details but long story short. it was a coil pack can't tell which one it's fine to drive for years. then I had someone hook it up to a computer after the engine light came on and it's the PCM/ECM. so yeah I do think u should replace that cause coils were maintenance well the main computer to the vehicle isn't and if it was like that when I bought it and they love to say how they don't sell vehicles with problems or it would have been fixed. ok we'll ya missed this problem or just gave it 50/50 chance of the person feeling it before they bought it because it only does it certain speed and on n off gas. either Way they was nice n wonderful til I bought it then oh that's on u. U should expect to put money in it. How about offering some kinda help like hey maybe pay half And kinda something considering you sold me the vehicle with the problem But the owner drove it n Obviously knows how I drive cause it's only doing it cause I'm gentle on the petal. Or when the guy said. What it's still doing that jerking n bucking. As if the coil pack was gonna magically fix its self. Worst service ever!!! Took my truck in for inspection. I receive call during inspection wipers were bad. One wiper was replaced 2 months ago. I asked if i could stop on way in to pick up a pair and have inspected. The owner chimed in with a nasty tone. You have to take truck and come back. The owner escalated this in a nasty way. Saying about a quote on an oil change which they did not want to compete with and some other beligerant unprofessional comments. I said i do not need this harrassment and he said i dont want your business. Come get your vehicle. Also last year i bought a car from this owner and he sold me a lemon so to speak. Many issues with the car were not fixed. And when i took car in to get fixed. They did not do the job right. My advice. Stay away from this company!! read more

I can't say enough about the people at Keiser Automotive. I took my car to them for an insurance estimate. Something was hanging down under the car. I had driven over a very high speed bump and I was sure there was significant damage under the car. Fortunately, they were able to work me in. After examining the car, the mechanic found only a bolt had fallen out. He replaced the bolt and charged me nothing. They are honest and trustworthy, and I would recommend them for your repair and service needs. read more

We called Keiser's after taking our Ford Flex to LB Smith for a malfunctioning sunroof. LB Smith quoted a repair of close to $2000.00. We brought it to Keiser's and they fixed it for $180.00!! They also changed our oil. A week later my mother in law brought her car in for a minor repair and they didn't even charge her! They are a class act and I have recommended them ever since. read more

I took my vehicle to Keiser's Service Center for an inspection on 6/20/19--this was the first time I have used this garage. An employee called to tell me it would not pass due to the front brake pads being less than the required thickness. He priced replacement of rotors, pads and calipers, also noting that the back pads were thin but would pass and should be checked again in about 5000 miles or they could just do it now as well. I asked why do the calipers need to be replaced, and he stated, "Because they are rusted." I then asked if they work and he said yes, but one of the slides looked to be hanging up. I asked if they could just free and lubricate it. He said they could and charge by the hour, but they would rather replace. At that point, I understood their program and told them to replace the pads only. My overall thinking was to cut my losses with them and move on. Marc Keiser made a strange comment that now I understand completely. He said, "Why should I do this work (free the slide and grease it) when I am backed up with good work. My clear understanding now is why simply replace the pads and fix one caliper with minimum profit when they could replace two calipers, two rotors and pads on the front and make more profit for parts and labor. On 10/14/19 with about 10,000 miles since his inspection, I decided to replace the rear brakes and look at the front calipers. I needed to add a cheater bar to remove all five of the lug nuts on the rear right side because the lugs were significantly over tightened. They were on at well over the 80-foot pound spec. On 10/16/19 I took the vehicle back to Keiser's to have them break free the other over tightened lugs (I had checked them all). His wife stated that they always hand torque the nuts to which I replied that it was probably a mistake, and I would like them corrected. Marc reluctantly (complaining that was raining) came out with a long torque-wrench and supposedly set it for the required 80 foot pounds. He lifted significantly and asked if I heard his wrench click. That being said if the selected toque (80 foot pounds) is achieved the wrench clicks; however, you can still rotate the wrench (fastener) to whatever you have the strength to apply. He loosened each and retightened. That's when his lack of professionalism and hostile personality really came to light. We went back and forth with him asking me if I had my wrench calibrated lately; that maybe I need to hit the gym more; was I saying he was lying, and that they were all hand-torqued correctly (while only doing one wheel)--he was getting really defensive and aggressive. At this point I said to him that the last time I was here for the inspection you were concerned about me posting something negative, and I said I would not and did not, but this time you can count on it. He then threatened to sue me and followed me to my car getting in my face very antagonistically, saying "Come on, let's do this!" I asked, "Do what?" when his wife wisely stepped between us to presumably save him. I then simply laughed at him and told her she should get him some pills. Trust me this is all true. I have never posted a review positive or negative prior for anything but felt compelled to warn others of this and his aggressive disposition. I had a Groupon for car service at Keiser's that I bought for my mother. She wasn't able to use it until the Groupon was due to expire. She called to make an appointment and was told that there were no openings, so she asked if she could make an appointment for after the date of the Groupon expiration. She was told "absolutely not." Keiser's apparently doesn't understand that you can use a Groupon even after they expire- the Groupon is worth what you paid for it after its expiration date, so in effect we now have a gift certificate for this place. Instead of telling people that we had a good experience with Keiser's, we will make sure to tell no one to use them and go somewhere else. I like to patronize small, local businesses, but not when the employees are rude, inflexible, and uninformed. read more

I got a Groupon for a state inspection at this service center, unaware that it was West Shore, and I live on East Shore, Harrisburg. The service was very fast, and the people were super friendly. I usually go to my dealer for inspection, but I've been having problems scheduling appointments with them lately, so I decided to give someone else a try. They are really out of the way for me personally, but I'd heartily recommend and would definitely go again if it were a little closer. A really nice, family-owned business with that personal touch. read more
