You send out a handful of requests and immediately get flooded by bots and generic "call us" replies. Most companies quoted me double what Vlad charged for the initial visit. One was literally 4x. I was skeptical and worried the low first visit was bait before they hit you with a brutal follow up bill. I'm happy to say I was wrong. I scheduled cleaning of my ductless systems based on recommendation from my condo's board President. At first it seemed like Vadim and his associate knew what they were doing. After cleaning and reassembling my living room unit, it began making a loud noise which was not present prior to the cleaning. Vadim himself heard the unit before and after and agreed it was louder than it was before. He told me that the bearing was dry and proceeded to apply some kind of lubricant. The noise was still present, albeit slightly quieter but nowhere near what it was before cleaning. We rescheduled another day for him to reassess the unit because it had been a whole day ordeal at that point. He returned about a week later and upon inspection, he was unable to remove the blower wheel. Mind you, the unit hadn't been turned on, let alone used since his last visit and he was the only one that ever disassembled the unit for cleaning since the initial install. He fumbled with the motor side this time and blamed my motor for being old leading to the noise. What exacerbated the noise, according to him, was that the motor is now vibrating and making contact with the plastic housing that covers the motor. I asked him why the motor worked perfectly fine before he disassembled it but now, conveniently after the cleaning, my motor is failing? Not to mention the blower wheel is now stuck, whereas I personally saw him remove it for cleaning the first time?? He blatantly said the unit is old and parts fail. So it worked flawlessly before but magically decided to fail as soon as he finished working on it??? Needless to say, he denied any responsibility and said he can order the motor and replace it for me but will have to charge me; the kicker, he doesn't know how much it'll cost... Please do yourself a favor, learn from my mistake and avoid these crooks at all cost; he will swindle you!!!
