These guys are literally the best So anyone who has renovated a house or apartment in NYC has a horror story or two. We are no exception, and the guy who has been working on our apartment, as nice as it's coming out, is an absolute monster of a human being. We of course, didn't know this until well into the process, and yes he was referred by a family friend who is in the business. So when further work was needed on the the boiler and pipes in the basement, and the old washer and dryer in the basement needed to be removed and new ones installed we knew we needed someone else to do it. Enter Evgenii, Yevgeniy and ProfisLine. OMG they saved our life. Not only were they responsive, they came quickly, were professional (breath of fresh air), and so so nice overall. Like seriously, I can't begin to thank them all enough. The boiler and vents were not only fixed, they were made better, safer, and the whole property now has much more regulated heat. As for appliances, the washer and dryer wouldn't have fit through the door as it was configured. Yevgeniy said, "no sweat, happens all the time in NYC", and disassembled the old ones, removed them, then disassembled the new ones, installed them and reassembled as if they were fresh from the factory. They did all of this at very very reasonable prices. The last bit of fun was the new unit's thermostat. The contractor moved it, as per my instructions, to a more centralized location so the unit could be more regulated. NBD, right? oh very wrong, and its become a big deal. The Rockstar that he is, he found a wire in the studs (we went down to the studs on this unit, full gut reno job) and assumed it was a thermostat line to the boiler. He then built new walls, and did a hugely expensive paint job on the whole house. this was when it was still warm out.....he also threw the old thermostat down on the ground still plugged in. This became important when it got cold. He was going to charge me to install a nest thermostat. These can be installed by literally anyone, and as I had already given this guy a couple of hundred thousand dollars, I was a bit insulted that he was even asking (I not so nicely let him know where he could stick it). The install took me around 10 min, and when I went to attach the unit to the plate, I was surprised it didn't get power. I mean, the power line was in R, so whats the deal.....after around 2 days and 2 electricians later, we realized he had used the friggin doorbell line as the thermostat line. So my thermostat could ring my door, but it certainly couldn't control the heat. Yevgeniy to the rescue again. he gave me the option of a wireless solution, or running a new line. As I like a smart home, and I am team google, I asked him to run a new line, which he will be doing next week, again for a reasonable cost. if you need literally anything in your house done, call these guys. They are truly incredible, efficient, and will invoice you via email so you can pay with a card easily. Cliché as it is, I would give them 100 stars if I could, I owe them so so much. read more

Quick response, honest, courteous, clean, repaired my Miele washer issue and waived the first assessment fee as they said they would. I have another washer issue happening (not sure I would recommend the Miele brand) but I have no hesitation in calling ProfisLine and Evgenii again. read more

Our 11 year old Bosch dishwasher had an error that resetting the power wouldn't fix. So I looked on Yelp for a repair service. One had a ridiculously high service call charge of over $130. That's above and beyond what any repair would cost. Several of the services had no appointments available in the next two days, with one having nothing available for at least a week. I took a chance calling ProfisLine and am pleased at the result. Long story short, the dishwasher did not need repairs. A leaking plumbed-in Keurig coffee maker was sending water through the hole in the countertop and onto the dishwasher, where it was accumulating, making the dishwasher think that it had the leak. Service time was dependent on expected-use parts being delivered, but once they were, the service tech was onsite. Service was courteous, professional, and honest. The whole cost was for the service call and the tech even created a lip around the hole in the countertop with silicone, preventing a simple leak or flood on the counter from triggering an issue with the dishwasher underneath. ProfisLine is a recommended service provider I would use again. read more

Evgenii replied to my Yelp message looking for someone to help with the dishwasher within minutes. We immediately had an appointment for the next day. He arrived within the agreed upon 1-hour slot, looked at the problem, discussed realistic options. Also helped with a problem with the oven. He was quick, very experienced, knowledgeable, helpful, I will be contacting them next time I need help. (I am writing this review partly because they had none on Yelp. I know it always makes me a bit apprehensive. But they are great.) read more
