They not only did not fix our fridge but their technician burned our floor in over a dozen places with his torch and caused water damage. Magomed my technician was wonderful. I moved into a house with a built in Thermodor refrigerator that had wobbly shelves. Magomed ordered the appropriate parts and fixed the shelves and Now it's as if it's brand new. read more

After the repair person evaluated and ordered the part needed, I reached out to them four times and requested a status with the operator, and never received a call. Finally, the repair person came on the fourth day and was fumbling around with the part, taking pictures of the wiring and parts and texting them to somebody. Clearly didn't know what they were doing. Finally, after 90 minutes, they state that he thinks the compressor needs to be replaced. Think was the keyword. I requested him to use his meter and check it before he make a definite decision and after my suggestion, he states the compressor is ok. Them asking what need to be done to complete the repair and kept on saying there will be more payment due to complete it. Very poor service. Had a technician come 4 different occasions in two weeks for GE washer. They ordered a new part and installed it and considered it fixed. This was after missing the issue in the previous two visits. Now the machine is leaking even more and now they tell me I need to call a plumbing service even though the leak is coming from the machine itself. It didn't even leak before they came to service the unit. I've spent what it would cost to buy an entire new washing machine, and now I have a leaky one and they'd like me to make it someone else's problem. Do not use these services. read more

THIS IS A SCAM! Read the reviews of others. Do not schedule an appointment unless you want to throw away your money. I scheduled an appointment to have my deep freezer fixed because it was not cooling. A guy named "John" (because that's the typical placeholder name) came by and he said meddled around with the fridge went to the back of it and said he replaced a part. Took $160 for the repair and said it was guaranteed. The fridge was not repaired and upon calling the number on the receipt the next day what do you know...it was not a valid number. He uses disposable numbers. He is a scammer and could be dangerous letting him into your home. PLEASE do not hire this person for any work. In the end I had to go to the store and buy a new freezer. I will make a report on Yelp to have this business removed and I hope others who have been scammed can do the same. read more

This company is incredibly untrustworthy and unreliable. They appear to be running some sort of scheme - they "fixed" my oven and then it broke a day later. When I called to get someone to come out they claimed they needed to order a part and would call me in a few weeks. This went on for several months and I called from a different number to schedule a repair. Once the person realized that we were a previous customer he claimed to not know what was going on. He demanded a receipt which we produced and then called his boss. They claim a year warranty but will basically ignore that. Beware of this company - they are clearly using the name to confuse customers because there is another national company called 5 star appliance repair (not 5 star appliance service). The person in the office is "John" and one of the repairman was named artak (I think he was speaking Albanian to the extent you ever run into these guys. They don't have a proper address in Manhattan and their website is routed to a dead link and I believe this is the same company as the one in Manhattan . read more

Miserable experience. The man who came into my home called himself John, born in Armenia with a heavy accent. He seemed nice but getting my fridge fixed has taken months and it's still not done. John makes appointments but he's still in bed at the time of the appointment. John promised 3 times to return my money but he never did. He has no insurance and he disappeared for weeks disconnecting his phone and fax (still disconnected). His current number is 347-600-2914. His partner is Boria at 718-552-0779. It was all chewed up and for a different model dishwasher. These folks also didn't show 3X and claimed they tried to call and let me know. They obviously didn't. They also pretended to buy a new computer for the dishwasher and showed it to me. Meanwhile, it wasn't a computer at all. Of course, they didn't install it. They promised to return my deposit, but only returned part of it. I had to go elsewhere (Management Appliance and Air Conditioning, Inc.) in order to finally have my dishwasher fixed and had to pay for everything again. Oven door difficult to open sometimes. he sprayed with WD40 which I had to provide and that's how he fixed the door. Oven knob broken - he could order for $68 (a small knob). After reading the reviews already listed, I could hit myself for not checking first. They did work for me about 5 years ago and it was actually fine. This time it was a disaster. The good news is that I only paid $100 as a down payment and refused to give them more until they were done. They did part of the repair (actually an important part) and wanted to be paid but I said I would pay them when they returned. Now I've waited two full days and they haven't shown up.
