They took the time to thoroughly understand each of our dogs' personalities, routines and needs, paying extra attention to our dog's medical situation, medications and any special accommodations required. We could tell right away how knowledgeable, experienced and compassionate they are as animal lovers and caregivers. While our family was away on vacation, Liz went above and beyond in looking after our boys. We received regular updates complete with photos and videos showing our boys looking happy, comfortable and well cared for. Liz was diligent in adhering to the feeding and medication schedules for both dogs, and provided them with affection and care throughout her visits. When we returned, the house was tidy, our dogs were calm and content, and we could enjoy a stress-free reunion knowing they had been in the most capable hands. This update is a bit overdue (this happened last year in April of 2025), but it's been a very tough…read moretime. The first couple times we used Sitter4Paws we had a really great experience with the sitters that were assigned to our senior, diabetic cat. Last year, my mother unexpectedly passed away, and our regular cat sitter was unavailable for half of the trip home. We booked Sitter4Paws the second half of the trip, and let them know about the circumstances and requested sitters that had seen Jodie before so that we could rest easy during a very difficult time. Of course we know that can't always be accommodated due to scheduling, so for the first visit a new sitter came to see Jodie. On the evening of my mother's passing, we got a text from Sitter4Paws that the sitter felt he may have made a mistake with our cat's insulin dosage. It was revealed to us that instead of giving her her normal 2.25 unit dose, he gave her 22.5 units - ignoring the taped off/labeled syringes, our explicit written instructions in the app, and additional photos/diagrams of what a full syringe should look like. Thank god he realized his mistake, otherwise our cat would have slowly died alone in our apartment - and this would have happened immediately after losing my mom. I understand mistakes can happen, but the fact that a sitter was uncertain with potentially life-threatening medication if administered improperly and didn't even think to reach out to us first was quite shocking. Sitter4Paws took full responsibility, admitted their mistake, said they would take steps to make sure something like this would never happen again, and covered her 4 day ER stay, but it never should have gotten to that point. Again - we did have great sitters who took care of our cat wonderfully - but the uncertainty of who you can get especially with medication involved means that we can no longer recommend this service with confidence.

Because of my dog's breed, and bad behaviors she picked up before I rescued her, I was calling neighbors and looking on yelp because I needed a good dog walker that understands this breed and the importance of control while in public. After months of private training sessions and pack training, my pup is still a work in progress but my walker is reinforcing the commands as my dog is constantly learning how to behave proper in a social setting. More recently, my normal dog sitter canceled at the last minute and my pup's regular walker, Sonia, stepped up to the plate and salvaged my out of town travel trip. Most importantly I knew my Maligator was in good hands as she cries with excitement every time she sees Sonia coming. I cant say enough good things about this company to be able to drop down and make the perfect fit for my fur baby and my peace of mind. And if you are lucky, you will be paired with an amazing dog walker like I was. It makes all the difference to have this type of support and peace of mind.
