The absolute worst experience I ever had with a car dealership. They sold me a Mercedes Benz that I paid for in full with a broken key. I bought a car from here for my wife and 2 children because I wanted them to be safe while I was at work but not even a few days after buying it, it broke down which was unexpected because it was a nice running car and looking; after the 4th or 5th time breaking down I talked to their mechanic and he explained friendly auto has a bad habit of getting good looking cars with blown motors or a good history that is totaled and fixing it to make it run well for a while so they can sell it for full price. It's one thing to run a bad business but these are bad people. They are the definition of used cars salesman. These people are the nastiest people on the planet and I hope by reading this you choose to go to another dealership. Me and my family are now stranded with no money/car on Christmas because I decided to trust these people. Want to spread my experience with FRIENDLY AUTO GALLERY I went up there to buy a vehicle, put 3500 down bought Kia sorento with like 67000 miles somewhere in that range and purchase 2yr warranty. On first drive it ran hot, was told to bring it back they would fix it. During speak with the mechanic/tow driver was told he put a used motor in it before he sent it over there. They called me back to pick the car up trying to tell me it was just the radiator cap. I went and got it, drive it not far down the street it ran hot again. Took it back. Some time passed they called me to come get it saying they replaced a valve cover gasket. Those of you that know anything about working on a car know that this ain't the issue! But I went and tested it out thinking maybe she misspoke and meant head gasket or something. No, it still ran hot. Sent video of it running hot and pictures. Parked it back in lot immediately after running hot not even 5 min down street. Called the financing company they went through and thank god the contract expired cause 30 days passed and they couldn't deliver on the vehicle in satisfactory condition. I asked for my money back. They kept 499.00 of my money even though there is no "doc" fee in the contract and they couldn't file paperwork on a car they never delivered on. When asked why I was told a doc fee, stock fee, delivery fee are all the same thing. Which they are not. They tried to keep more stating they had paid taxes on the sale already. Till I asked for paperwork to file an abatement with they state for that money back. They never offered to put me in a different vehicle for that whole month since the first obviously didn't run. They did offer to help pay for my rental but never followed through on helping with a Penny of it. When I requested my money back they had two employees call me trying to put me in a different car. When they gave me some of my money back they faxed a paper wanting me to sign a "hold harmless agreement and to not post anything on social media about them. I just thank God I was able to get some of my money back from the shady people and want other people to know my experience. Everytime they take it back they return it with something else wrong The turbo, the axle, the sensors, the radio, the solenoids, now THE RADIATOR. 12k DOWN THE DRAIN. They act like they wanna help but don't even fix it correctly. It's like pulling teeth with them. Now $500 for a new radiator. It's literally the same with all dealerships. They are TERRIBLE. Typical BAIT & SWITCH company which I should've known by their inventory and pricing. All their vehicles are dented and scratched hardly worth the money they ask. I test drove two vehicles one was a truck that stalled on me as soon as I drove it off the lot the other was an OK Durango which I had decided to go with since I needed a work truck. I called and texted the salesman i was working with Chuck and told him I was ready to buy. He proceeded to tell me that I had to put down $1500 down and my payments would be more than $250 a month on a 2005 Durango that they wanted 5 grand for! I was very upset because that's not what we had discussed in the beginning. Of course the whole time I was there all they kept asking me was how much money I could put down in which I replied nowhere near that amount. I guess you can't expect much from sleazy used car salesman. I'll just save my money and buy from someone who wants my business. I actually gave them a chance to make it right and they did nothing! Just wanted you to know they made a sincere effort to make it right in the form of making promises to fix the safety issues. This was two months ago. To date nothing has been done. Thousands spent and the car is still not yet safe. Still they have not gotten the work done. On top of that the salesman thought he could shame me into taking down my complaint by complaining to my husband as if I was his property and he has control over me and could force me to take this down. Nope! Not happening. I will make this offer - take care of the services you said you would, and I will deliver on it, call and tell me who the certified mechanic is and where his shop is and when the work is going to be done - my husband will watch the work being done and verify it was to standard and then and only then will my review be altered. read more

The name says it all. We didn't end up buying at Friendly, though, the 2011 Subaru we looked at there was our second choice if the first had fallen through. Dan was great- and it made me a little sad not to buy from him. The selection was good as well. We just found a vehicle- that my wife fell in love with- on another lot that suited our needs better. Do Not Buy From Them! Paul Nicholas and the ownership of Friendly Auto Gallery are unethical liars. They sold us a vehicle that Paul assured me had been mechanically checked out, but within less than 24 hours the check engine light came on. I took it to a shop and they told me the O2 sensor was bad, and rusted in place so it could not be replaced. In addition, they told me the frame was rusted through to the point of being unsafe, and the brake cables and calipers were corroded and fouled with a rust concealing paint that had been sprayed all over the underside of the vehicle and the inside of the wheels. When I confronted Paul with that information, he told me the O2 sensor had been replaced, which is an obvious lie because it would not have failed and been rusted in place if it had. I had to threaten to sue him to get him to cancel the sale, and he still charged me the doc fee and "excessive mileage" fee, despite the fact that I never would have bought the vehicle if he had not lied to me about the fact that a mechanic had inspected the vehicle for potential issues. And I'm not talking about a $2,000 beater. I'm talking about a price that anywhere else would get you a decent car. Stay away! read more
