The class size is small (8-10) & the class room is comfortable & conducive for learning. Instructors are exceptionally knowledgeable & forthcoming with educational information, engaging & ensures questions are answered. Highly recommended this business run by a retired nurse educator & her sons (since 1984). Students (us) are each given time to demonstrate hands on CPR using dummies & also using an AED. In all the years that I've recertified, I've not encountered an instructor like Lea, so energetic & passionate about teaching. She's additionally given many FYI's & fascinating tidbits of real-life situations to incorporate into the lessons. We watched videos to enhance our refresher course. Joey was our BLS instructor (Lea's son), he is also an excellent teacher. This was a referral from one of my co-workers & I'm glad I chose them over my over instructors in Whittier. The communication was through emails & they even texted the students the day before to remind about this upcoming class. It's on the 2nd floor & this building has a designated free parking. Will definitely return when I need recertification in two years. Easy, breezy, NO STRESS, I love it!!!! Again, I must admit, I will recommend this place to anyone needing recertification.

Initially, I chose this program because it was one of the most affordable CNA programs in the area. Many of the other schools I looked into were charging well over $2,000, so this program stood out as a great option financially. However, after starting the program, I realized the value went far beyond the cost. Mrs. Villalobos is truly one of the best teachers I have ever had. I am currently a master's student, I have experience in the medical field, and I have been through a lot of schooling, so I do not say that lightly. Mrs. Villalobos is extremely knowledgeable about the healthcare field and brings a lot of real experience into the classroom. She is patient, supportive, and genuinely passionate about what she does. It is rare to find an instructor who not only teaches well, but also truly cares about her students and wants them to succeed. She created a learning environment where I felt encouraged, prepared, and confident. I cannot recommend this program enough, whether you are someone with zero healthcare experience or someone returning to get recertified. I came here for my gaurd card, the campus is apart side of a high school. The campus has parking, and it's very clean. Certain classes are available and they are looking for a construction teacher. Speak to the principal Anthony about that. Was not crowded and was not noisy. I would love for my brother to come and get his guard card and G.E.D. But he isn't but I'll keep praying for him.
