Anyone whos taken a legit CPR/PALS/ACLS class knows how utterly boring they are. Yes, you'll save lives...gotta take them seriously...but when you're mandated to renew every two years as a healthcare provider, it gets redundant real quick, not to mention expensive. Anyway, coworker recommended this place. Called them up, made an appt for a PALS renewal then received confirmation via email. They do have a website if you are a visual person and need to SEE the pricing/classes. PALS was $125. Let me just say...this is THE BEST PALS class I've EVER attended. Michael, the instructor, knows his stuff well and basically explained everything in easy to understand ways. I did watch a quick "update" video on 2015 changes and the rest was easy peasy. I actually LEARNED this time!!! (Typically large class sizes are impersonal and you spend the day watching videos, running mock codes, then testing). Learned a couple of tidbits along the way such as PEA stands for Push.Epi.Always and for infants you can call off a code in 10 mins technically but in reality, nobody would call it that quick! Tip: For those of you who don't know, wallet cards are no longer provided...we will only get email/pdf copies now...(this is everywhere!!). Anyway, would highly recommend!!! read more

Look no further - this is the BEST way to get certified or renew your certifications. Just finished my ACLS and BLS as well as my PALS last weekend. Brief and to the point, Michael is amazing. I've renewed my certs with Michael 2 years ago and it was just as great. Classes are usually from 9 am to 12 ish. Short videos, he lectures, and then a mini-break halfway through, more interactive lecture and then test! Called on a Monday and certified on Tuesday! Class is only hands on and I actually learned how to confidently do CPR and first Aid!!! I've taken many of these classes for work and this was the only one I enjoyed and wasn't bored and actually got something out of it! No book work! No reading! There wasn't any classes scheduled and I was in a rush so he made an exception and created a one on one class for me which I really appreciated! I took a PALS/NRP class here and was very impressed with how the course was run. Michael is an incredible instructor who does a great job making the information easy to understand. Usually, when I attend these type of classes, I get so bored because the class seems to drag on forever. However, my PALS/NRP class here went by extremely quickly and I was even let out a lot earlier than I thought I would be. What's really great is that they provide you a print out of a study guide and algorithms so that you don't need to be flipping through pages in a book. Instead, Michael really knows his stuff that he teaches the whole course without even looking at a textbook.
