I called ahead to see if they carried any AEW merchandise or general wrestling memorabilia (specifically looking for items related to legends like The Rock and Mankind). The person who answered was incredibly rude and short with me. He dismissively told me they only had a video game, offered absolutely no help, and then just let the air go completely silent before hanging up on me. This place was highly recommended to me by three different people, but after that abysmal phone call, I completely changed my mind. Bradley was incredible. I came in ready to spend $150 on a new Nintendo 64 because mine wasn't working. Instead of just selling me one, he took the time to test my console, swap cords, and troubleshoot until he found the real issue--a bad jumper pack. I spent $10 instead of $150. The gentleman sitting at the far south end of the building was rude, and then told an OUTRIGHT LIE about PlayStation 5 controllers. He told me while holding up the ps5 remote I needed "there are too many parts in here, you have to buy first party. Even if you do find third party they won't work with some ps5 games. I continued to purchase the remote for $64.99 and skeptically believe him for the time being. So I tested this. I went home and bought the cheapest ps5 remote (IWGAME RGB, $35.09) on Amazon and waited for it to arrive last Friday. As expected, the generic controller works on all games. Big board game section also!!. I also see how customers feel they need to be treated like royalty. I been to this store for years now. I ALWAYS get disappointed when I go to the shop. I recommend not even checking it out because a lot of these workers are genuinely snobby liars. The selection is cool & wide but with no prices on it, it's tedious having to ask the workers for prices of products I may have been interested. Also, the prices are downright worse than scalpers. Prices on the video games are hit or miss but nowadays, they are typically double or triple market. Also don't bother on the POKEMON cards here, a $10 card equates to $20 and above based off of the shop's preference. I also had a time where I arrived to shop, looking to sell a rare GODZILLA PS4 game. When I mentioned the price I would settle for which was $130 (the game was going for $180-200 on EBAY), the worker didn't believe me. The moron had the audacity to pull up GAMESTOP website & sarcastically told me that the product is "in stock" & that it's only $20. I gave little bro a look & laughed at him. I clarified that he should check EBAY prices because he's being ignorant & stupid, he refused to check. I simply walk out & I personally NEVER recommend anyone to come here. I was always a recurring customer, I came here during COVID times because the staff was genuinely nice & the prices were extremely fair. The fall from grace needs to be studied. Hopefully people listen to my warning because this shop will lie to your face & rip you off if you aren't aware of the product you're interested in / looking to sell. I strongly advise avoiding this business. Over the past ten years I've come here occasionally, but this experience was the final straw. I brought in a DVD to be resurfaced -- which they did adequately -- and paid the $5 without issue, fully understanding the risk was mine. However, when I asked if they could simply test it afterward so I'd know whether I needed to purchase another copy elsewhere, I was met with unacceptable responses. The employee at the front claimed he had no way to test a DVD. When I pressed further and spoke with another employee at the back counter -- who was surrounded by multiple Xbox 360 and PS4 systems -- he also insisted there was no way to test it. The lack of basic customer service and unwillingness to assist was frustrating and disappointing. After this visit, I will not be returning. read more

Stay away from this place!! Definitely not coming back here. Had a couple $20 cards and some $2-$3 bulk cards to sell. The guy offered me $20 for about 30 cards. I understand you have to make money, but it wasn't even 50%. Was looking for a reputable card shop to make my "local" card shop but was met with disrespect. The shop owner told me "we have prismatic evolutions boxes that we aren't going to sell until the price gets higher". Another guy told me "if you don't like the prices then that's fine. No negotiating because if you don't buy it, someone else will" Another customer was in there with about 30-40 Xbox classic games with the console and controllers and he was asking $200 (games were really good marvel vs capcom 2, house of the dead 3 etc) They straight up told him "yeah we can't meet you at that. I meant to leave a review last week & totally spaced until i came back in today!! I want to touch on why i wanted to review them the first time. I called around looking for a ds game & found that the north location had it. Once i called this location Alex, gave me all the info i needed & help educate me on everything i needed to play this game. I originally thought i would be able to play this game on the 3ds but i actually needed a ds lite. Which this location had. So he went to look at his inventory in 2 places to see if they carried the game & the ds there so i wouldn't have to make multiple trips. They didn't have the game so i did end up going to both. But! He seriously went above & beyond ti help me out. He gave me a route to take & held the ds for me since they were low stock. We were on the phone for like 10 mins I was the typical ignorant customer that wasn't easy to deal with because i had to be taught how this game worked Truthfully it was embarrassing. But i digress. Once i got to this store everyone here was sooo freaking cool! The other guy (i wish i got everyone's name but didn't wanna be creepy) helping us, had to help me understand how to run games in the ds. Has to be inserted then turned on. Blah blah. Normal stuff people should know but i was like the whole time. Everyone here is just stellar. On their game. & so accommodating. The location has great security cameras & they're filled with inventory! I could spend all day here. I came in just now to look to see if they had twilight princess & i didn't see it but did see a few games I'll have to pick up for next time. I came in with someone to get some pokemon cards & they were beyond helpful. They're extremely truthful & dont nickel & dime you. All their products are great! Location: The area that this shop is at is not very good to say the least, but they do have a location on Rainbow that is in a better plaza and neighborhood. Game Selection: I called ahead to check if they had a couple games in stock, and they did! I looked at 3 other stores before calling Wii Play Games. I appreciated that they were able to check stock for me. The employees were very kind over the phone and quick too! They have a ton of games from old to new, as well as board games, connection supplies, trinkets, etc. Quality: I found it odd that they don't check that their games work before selling them. And they only have a 7 day return period despite that. Also, trinkets and stuffed toys are all 2-3x the normal prices, so I would stick to buying games at this shop. read more

My boyfriend found this store while looking for something to do before we had to go to the airport to fly back home and it was close by where we were. The store seemed small but looks can be deceiving as this has to be one of the biggest video game stores we have seen in throughout our travels. Additionally, they have board games, cards in bulk or sold individually, figures, plushies, bags, and so much more! It is a fantastic store to look around and browse. We were greeted warmly by the employees and told politely that we could ask them questions about anything if needed. The store was neat and tidy and even had a tournament space. As a video game nerd, I thought they had an impressive collection and had fair pricing. Other video game stores usually charge much more than eBay but this store was very fair. In fact, if you check in with Yelp and show your cashier, then you will receive 15% off your first purchase and that is the biggest discount that I have seen at a video game store. The cashier that rang my boyfriend and my purchase was kind enough to take the offer, even though my Yelp app glitched and wouldn't let me show the offer but I did check in. The store looks small from the outside but it's much bigger once you are in. The place is packed but I don't feel too claustrophobic. You can really get lost looking at everything. I found the staff to be pretty attentive and helpful. We enjoyed stopping in to see the store. There was plenty of parking in the shared shopping center. The store seems small from the exterior, but it is actually huge and laid out well. I was pleasently surprised when I entered. My daughter immediately went to look at games. They had a good selection of vintage and current games. I browsed the store and enjoyed looking at their stock of board games. My family loves game night especially Monopoly. They had a nice selection of different Monopoly games with themes everyone can enjoy. They also had some games on a discount table, I scored a Super Mario board game ! Right away, you must get temperature checked at the front. Immediately after that the staff are extremely helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. They have sanitizer around the store in a lot of spots. The amount of Pokémon items is amazing and a huge selection of all gaming platform games. My interaction with a staff member named Austin was amazing! Since I'd never been there before (and there's a ton of stuff to look at or buy) he helped walk me through where the items I'd come to look at were and explained a lot to me. They came back and said the one in bad shape works and the one in good shape won't turn on at all and has a water bubble in it. They tried to get me to trade both them in TOWARDS a good condition working one. I just bought the charger came home both of them turn on and the one with a bubble turns out it was a screen protector. Staff are friendly and answer any questions even to 7 year olds, my son is 7 and was getting prices for everything he liked.
