THey have a huge selection of polish. I get gel manicures and pedicures on a regular basis and am always pleased with the work. I also get my eyebrows waxed by Lulu. This place was anything but "friendly". When the nail tech was finally ready for my manicure we had a discussion about price, in which she decided to pick up her utensils and walk away. The manager or who I assume to be the manager, was not able to get her nail tech to come back to do the manicure, in which I said so what am I supposed to do and then she gave me a long wait time to wait for her. Talk about unprofessional, especially with how outrageous all the prices have become. Zero customer service. This is all because I simply asked why painting 4 nails in French would be the same as all 10 nails. Seems like a reasonable question to me. I used to go to this place many many years ago, and was sad to see how much it went down. It was dirty and overall just uninviting. I am happy I did not end up spending one dollar in there. I passed by for a much needed pedicure, and was extremely pleased with the decor and very neat environment. The massage chairs are well-kept, comfortable, and equipped with digital remotes. My nail tech was very detailed while grooming during my pedicure and the exfoliating scrub and warm towel were perfect! I have very tiny toenails, but nonetheless my nail tech did a wonderful job and was sweet enough to check with me to make sure the polish application was to my liking. I highly recommend this spot! I had to direct my nail tech throughout the entire process. He did a super rushed job and almost even tried to not put top coat in my toes and hands. He even tried to just GLUE ON an acrylic of mine that was dangling off instead of making a new nail. That is how people get fungus at these places. I had to remind him to. He told me they did not have a color they very clearly had in the shop and I had to insist for it until he finally brought it to me. The paint job on my hands is terrible. The sparkly color I chose is very patchy and some nails have more layers than others. He also was so rough with the metal tools that I was frequently nicked and in pain. After correcting him so many times I just wanted to leave. He then laughed at the tip I left him and stood over me rudely waiting to see what I would tip. First, I don't want anyone so close to me because of COVID and no one should make a customer feel uncomfortable while paying. Will not be returning. read more

I had a gel Manicure with Candy. During the manicure I told her it didn't look right and she said I should wait until the end. Well, the color had no color at all. It was supposed to be a light pink. It looked like I had no polish on at all. So I asked her to redo it and told her I would give her a double tip because I knew it would take extra time even though it wasn't my fault. She refused to fix it and threatened to call the police. That's when other customers stepped in and agreed with me and told her she should redo my polish. She again refused. I paid for my pedicure, tipped the guy that did the pedicure and I left. I will NEVER go back to that nail salon. It should be called UNFRIENDLY NAIL SPA! read more

I almost do not even want to give them one star, honestly. I came in here for a pedicure - the place looked nice, everyone was friendly, plus it was close to home. The problem, the young lady doing my toes cut my skin, as well as, pretty much allowed my basin to over flow. The worst part about all of this, had I not said something about either, no apologies or recognition would have happened. I have been a bi-weekly customer of Friendly Nail Spa for at least 3 years. I took my 93 year-old mother in law law in for a pedicure today and honestly it is the last time I will ever set foot in that salon. I just have to say that Nicole, who usually does my nails and is wonderful and lovely was not there today and I will miss having my nails done by her. But my mother in law was treated with such disrespect and cruelty that despite loving Nicole I simply cannot give my business to this kind of establishment. From the moment we walked into the salon, I asked for a pedicure for my mother in law and the technician was assigned it was obvious to me that that she was grossed out by the thought of having to do her nails. I asked her to please cut her nails as short as possible and she curtly told me that her nails were too thick, then proceeded to hurt her. The entire pedicure, soup to nuts, took at most 15 minutes and it was clear this woman was rushing through just to get it over with. Once she was done, instead of putting my mother in laws shoes back on for her she told us to wait 10 minutes so that her nails could dry. This made sense to me since she was not having a manicure so we waited. 20 minutes later this woman had not come back so I tried putting my mother in laws shoes on myself and quickly realized if I did I would ruin her nails. Therefore, I asked someone to go get the technician who ends up was sitting outside the salon doing nothing. The technician came back in and instantly started arguing with me that putting shoes back on is easy and that I should be able to do it myself, despite the fact that every single other person having pedicures had their shoes put back on by the techs at the conclusion of the pedicure. I explained that I tried and felt like I would ruin her pedicure but she continued to insist. Then she suggested I put those paper pedicure shoes on her. I explained that my mother in law is 93 years old, has poor balance and would be unable to walk to the car in paper shoes without falling. After she continued arguing with me I said, "ma'am, I just want you to put her shoes back on for her." At that point she started yelling at me, telling me that I spoke to her like a dog and that she was not going to put the shoes back on. Now, this was no quiet event going on, yet none of the techs at the salon, many of which were sitting at their tables not doing anything got up to help or to otherwise intercede. I had to walk up to the owner who was also sitting at her station doing nothing and ask for her help. After all that, she too suggested that we put paper shoes on my mother in law and finally helped me put the shoes back on. The whole time I could still hear the original tech screaming in the back room clearly talking about us. Not once did the owner apologize for the techs behavior. I am a pretty tough person, but I was actually in tears at this salon because I cannot believe they would treat a 94 year-old woman in this manner. Thank God, she is a little out of it and did not realize what was going on. It would have been devastating for her had she realized how she was being treated and why. So, as much as I love Nicole and I really, really do, I will never set foot in this salon again. I simply cannot be be a patron of an establishment that could be so cruel to a poor sweet old lady like my mother in law and that clearly cares so little about long-time customers like me. I loved my Gel manicure and pedicure. Lulu is awesome! She took her time, my nails are even and she polished beautifully. My boyfriend stopped in to see me, and decided to get a pedicure and they took him right away, which I appreciated as well. This place is very clean, the prices are reasonable and they have great massage chairs. Also, they placed a plastic lining in the foot bath, which I really loved, I've heard horror stories about getting fungus and this showed extra precaution. I wanted to be a fan of this place was a total let down. They never offer a drink so I don't know why people were writing that. I got a pedicure that the woman missed half the steps of it. Then cut me on my cuticle. Left the mask on my legs that I was sticky and sloppy. I told them and they did nothing bout it. They have a decent selection of gel colors but it's some weird brand. Went here on the recommendation of a friend but was unable to get the technician she recommended. Technician filed my nails all the way down to my fingertips or below; nails were ragged & uneven. I was there for a weekend event, & I stopped her before she could polish the nails because they were so short they would have looked ridiculous. She was unapologetic & said my nails were already short, which was not true. My hands look awful & I've never had a worse manicure experience in 25 years of them. Let's start by saying not so friendly salon... I work at a salon and was unable to get my nails done there so I did a little search in my area open past 7. I read the reviews and decided this is on my way, let's try it. I know what it's like to have annoying and particular clients, but you deal with it - it's part of the job. I'm trying to make conversation because after all, we're going to be holding hands for 30-45 mins... I didn't catch the manicurist's name, but she does not speak English at all - not even the few words about manicures. I've gotten a good amount of manicures in my life and this woman seems as if she didn't know how to do it the professional way. She's filing extremely hard and crooked, places one hand in water, doesn't put my other hand in water before cutting my cuticles...(?) I don't cut my cuticles to the core (preference) so I'm trying to communicate this to her "please just cut what is hanging." She has no idea so I ask the manicurist beside her to explain. (Which by the way started a gel manicure after I already started mine and was done perhaps 10 minutes before) She replies to me "so only the sides?" I said "whatever is hanging whether it be the sides or the bottom of the nail.." she repeats "so only the sides?" I am not sure how to explain it differently and she gets pissed off and starts going off, but obviously not in English. So now I'm awkwardly and uncomfortably sitting there while they go back and forth.. She doesn't know how to cut cuticles. She got polish on every finger while painting. I know it's not an expensive manicure or anything, but regardless I believe in professionalism and customer service, which she and her colleague lacked both. read more
