I went to Friendly's and tried out the Limited Time Offer item - NEW Chicken Fajita Pasta a try. It's fajita seasoned grill chicken served with peppers, onions and penne pasta tossed in a zesty queso sauce/ finished with mixed cheese and tortilla strips. It's a very tasty dish but I wish I asked for 1/2 of the zesty queso sauce as it came flooded in the sauce and alittle too much for my liking. Overall it is a very tasty dish. Have to give it a try before they switch out the menu. We we're greeted by friendly employees. It's a kid-friendly place for sure. The atmosphere was relaxed. I had the Honey BBQ double Hamburger. It was perfect. I ordered it medium rare and it was cooked right. I liked the soft brioche bun. The quality and freshness of the ingredients including the meat was top notch. It was sort of a "melt in your mouth" burger. My family reported that the soup was excellent and the tuna sandwich was just fine. One sundae was ordered and it was well received. For a party of 3, total with a 20% tip and discount coupon came to $26. That is a phenomenal deal. I Update 2/19 Friendly employees. Great agmosphere. Great food at a great price. After my experience on 08/30/22, I will probably still go to the outside order window for an ice cream cone, but will never visit their dining room again. It was not full, but it took a while for a waitress to come take my order, then bring me a warm iced tea with only two ice cubes that melted immediately. I asked for some ice that never came. Groups of people started to come in, and the waitress informed me that there was an 'inexperienced manager' working the grill, so expect a delay. After 30 minutes waiting after that, I left a $5 to pay for my warm ice tea, and walked out. I went to McDonald's instead. I do not fault my waitress - but the manager needs a lesson on multitasking. read more

Poor management, "venessa" was on the phone the whole time and doesn't seem to have regards to the diners in the restaurant. Out of stuff constantly, and the food/icecream is not consistent. Years ago the place used to be a nice place for the family to go to, but with an understaffed shitshow if you will, wait times upwards of 30 minutes for a sandwich, is very frustrating. I could see waitresses sitting on their phone in the staff "hallway" while I am sitting there waiting to receive overcooked food. On top of all that, the environment of the restaurant is lacking and outdated. There is no Gluten-Free or Vegan options besides a salad that you can get anywhere. overall 0 out of 10. read more

What a terrible experience I just had. we ordered pickup, and upon arrival I was handed a full size paper bag with two small ice creams and two kid's drinks in it. The chocolate milk was sideways and had spilled all over everything even as I was handed the bag - because, of course drinks are going to spill in a giant paper bag! We order from here regularly for the kids, and, honestly, almost never are the drinks placed in a way that one doesn't spill. The food is also inconsistent. You never know what you are going to get. Drive to the one in Holyoke. This one should be avoided at all cost. I would love to post a picture, it looked disgusting in there too. read more

I used to love Friendlys when i was a kid, always asking the waitresses how old i had to be to work there. Well times have changed. Me and my partner vist here offtin for ice cream an sometimes for dinner, the food changes almost monthly it seems. Each time i am disappointed in how the food is. The number one food i used to get here but wont again was the New England Fish and Chips. Almost every time it comes out of the kitchen these days its burnt, very very fishy, or way to much water inside. The fries are bland and tastiest. The new 4 Cheese chicken dish seems to do pretty well with out the bread crums. Every time i order a Root Beer the soda is flat an watered down. Pretty much the ice cream is the only reason i still go here or else id take my money else where. read more

Had lunch here a few days ago (Saturday, 1/12/19) and have to write a review as the service was excellent and the food delicious. I've been going to Friendly's for over 50 years. Sadly there aren't so many of them anymore, so when traveling, if I see one, I almost always make a point of going. So, driving through this small town on Saturday, saw this, just as we were looking for a place for lunch. The food in Friendly's, wherever you go, is consistent, and you know what you are going to get. At the same time, in recent years, the service in Friendly's has also been consistent and you know what you are going to get there as well, and sadly, service is almost universally terrible at Friendly's. But, wait, this Friendly's, has incredible service. Truly amazing and thankful that it was outstanding. Congratulations and kudos to the staff and managers of this Friendly's. Keep up the great work, and may it be picked up and copied at other Friendly's elsewhere. Thanks for a good meal and great service! read more

Just going into a Friendly's you are wavering between 2 and 3 stars so there are only a few things that can make a particular Friendly's into a 4 star event. The food will always be around the same, but the care taken with the food will be different. The interior will always look the same, but some can be cleaner than others. The Fribble will always taste the same, but the consistency can be different. The way a Friendly's can become a 4 star restaurant is through its service (it can also be a 1 star in the same way). On the way out of town after a long weekend, it was time to knock down one more Fribble for old times sake and for the road. It just so happened that we were starving so it was lunch first and then Fribble to-go or for however long it would last, which wouldn't be long. Yadda yadda, burger - yadda, yadda fries - fine. Waiter - outstanding. Truly the best attitude for a Friendly's employee I have ever seen. Nothing was a trouble, nothing was an issue, he got us everything we needed to send the weekend out in vanilla style. This is where you can separate your Friendly's because when you go in, you pretty much know what you are going to get, but when you get taken care of in a place where that seems almost incomprehensible, you take note - and you sip your Fribble until it's gone. read more

These people must have stomach's of steel. Both times i ate their burger and fries i ended up leaking out my rear and last time i ended up vomiting in my mouth for 4 hours. The gas was incredible and i felt like i gained 5 pounds. 10/10 wont get stomach disease again from here. read more

havent been here since 2014. its changed a bit new waitsaff from what i can remember but they were fast attentive and on top of everything even brought my drink out before i could ask for a refill. only thing i did notice is the ice cream cooler was other broken or out of use because it was closed off. other then that i will return. the food i ordered was hot and cold the way its supposed to be. thats what i call good food service. read more
