The owner Rafael is unethical, came with a customer to have a car inspected, instead of doing his job and solely inspecting the car he spends over an hour trying to sell my customer a car he has for sale. He hands his phone to my customer so he can see photos of the car. He then tells my customer the car I'm selling is to expensive which is none of his business. Manchester Ave because my car was shutting out as I drive and misfireing the machanic kept my car for about 6 hrs. he called me and said my car was ready I got the car I drove for 1 day I still had the same problem I took it back the machanic told me he fixed the problem I paid this man $200 to repair my car from misfiring And shutting off. My reciept says he repaired 3 spark plugs and ignition coil and I'm still having the same issues with my car and he refuse to fix it I had to take my car to another machanic which I paid $350 for this machanic putting used spark plugs and ignition coil in my car I don't recommend this machanic shop to anyone scammers to women. read more

I went to Friends Auto Repair where they fix my 2006 Infiniti FX35 they said my SUV need differential replacement so they charged me $320 for the part and $480 for labor I was agreed to pay. They took it so long to repaired because the ordered wasn't arrived. Finally I picked it up on June 17th they was last min to tell me that my coolant is leaked I was like hmm okay and they decided to changed the oil change I didn't say anything I guess they want to get more money to fix this stuff. When I left... the rear was shake.. I was assumed that it need a alignment adjusted. I went to other store so they did adjusted this alignment. I drove all the way from LA to Upland. Next day it getting worse when I drove on the freeway it's shake so bad. When I exit the freeway the rear is fall apart. I was so upset so I decided to go to other shop to check it out. They were shocked that our SUV could've killed us in the middle of the freeway. They said Friends Auto put the things back on loose so it messed up the car. And almost risked our lives with the CHILDREN! They wants to take it out and fix it right so I have to pay another $1200 for this so I went back to Friends Auto and explained what happened. They refused to give the money back I showed them the receipt that I paid for. I'm sad because they knew I have children who ride with me. I guess they want money, not want to be safe. The owner apologized to us but did not want to give us some money back. I said, that's okay. God knows what goes around come around. read more

Following up on my previous post Now I found out the problem and I was right even though I pointed out to him showed him the axle and he said no todo esta bein puesto he's a liar and a scammer and his whole team of mechanics are worth scrap they messed up my entire drive shaft tranfer case didn't install the axles correctly I'm left with over 1000 dollars of repair and this piece of crap place won't take responsibility for the mistakes they made here are the photos of the axles He caused the tranfer case to lock up and my drive shaft broke off because of his stupidity. Ugh I'm so freaking heated I want to go over to his shop and show him but I know it will lead to a fist fight .. especially because he said it's normal when I pointed that out last week... read more

HORRIBLE SERVICE!! Please save yourself time and your money. Took in my car several times. Paid mechanic Rafael to fix my car and change some parts not replace with old junk. Drive off and to my surprise I was still having same issue. I contacted him several times(no help at all) he refuse to help and insisted car was ok. Found myself a new shop and they confirmed what i have been suspecting. He replaced my parts with junk, used parts when i paid him full privce for NEW parts. I have friends that have taken in cars and they experienced same problems with him using used and cheap parts when his prices are a bit too high. Beware! if you take in your car he will not only overcharge you for cheap used parts but you will also have to double spend taking it elsewhere to fix the issue. So Rafa the owner came highly recommended. I have an SUV which had transmission problems. I had some issues with needing to pay a lot of money for a brand new transmission. Rafa offered me an alternative fix for my SUV which was a used transmission. Saved me half of what it would have cost for a new one, my car runs better than ever. I also took it back for a few sensor failures and Rafa was quick to analyze and dissect the issue and told me what needed to be done. He was very fair, and it's hard to find a very honest mechanic. Friends Auto Repair is the worse and most unethical car servicing place. If I could give zero stars, I would. When my battery sensor went on, I took my Honda Accord in for repair. Rafa told me I needed to replace my valves and a gasket because my car leaked oil. He kept my car for a whole week, and on the day I finally picked up my car, he told me the air intake hose was cracked and that he added silicone to it. Why the shop didn't replace it and charge me is beyond me. He was already charging me $600 for the repairs, and this led me to believe that his guys cracked it, and they put silicone as a last-minute quick fix. A month later, I got an engine light and took the car to another mechanic to diagnose. To my surprise, they told me the identical valves needed replacement when they showed me how "Friends Auto Repair" glued the valves with silicone and what damage the silicone did to the intake hose. I was appalled at the work they had done to my car. They do shitty jobs, and I could've done a better job myself. Save your money and go to a reputable mechanic. read more
