I've been going here for just under a year now. Service is generally good. I need to ask for the nail stylists' names next time but there is one who does an amazing job with french gel manicures. Probably the best I've come across so far. The french lasts a long while and looks so professional. They have a variety of gel and sns colors as well. On top of that, the second time I went, I had cracks again the day after getting them fixed. Walked in on Saturday in the middle of the day. It was very busy and we were told it would be 20-30 minutes before we could be seen to get my daughter's nails done. We waited about 3-4 minutes and we're called back to get our eyebrows done. When we were done my daughter was able to sit and start getting her nails done. My friend and I have been trying to find our favorite Nail Salon for THE longest time, and we've finally found it. Friends Nail & Spa is on the corner of a building in the plaza next to a Taco Mac. The place is so cute as soon as you walk in. They have a nice bamboo forestry theme and everyone is so friendly. They also have the best prices (my whole thing was only $32 w/o tip) for actually good quality work regarding a wide selection of gel colors, and the designs they're willing/can do. Usually when I do gel, I see like places not filled in or the top of my nail is showing, but they managed to make it look perfect. The girl who did my nails is super good at marbling design too. They also have a $3 off single service fee (meaning $3 off anything you do). They offer a wide array of other services too: waxing, threading, scrubs. I loved the atmosphere and hospitality of the employees; they offered us drinks like tea or water (even sparkling water lol). I'm never going anywhere else again~ read more

I live in NYC and come down to Atl every few months to visit my family. I've paid $$$ in NYC for subpar pedicures. This place and the price cannot be beat! I was a first time customer and I announced that to the lady at the front desk when I got there today Friday Feb 18 2022 at 600pm, and asked for "Icey" as I read here in the reviews someone said she's good for SNS, which was what I wanted. . Icey was busy when I got there so by 620pm she started on my nails. I also introduced myself again and said I was a new customer and confirmed with her if she was Icey. She said yes. In the beginning She was moving pretty fast, but I thought maybe when she gets to the dipping buffing and shaping she will take her time, but she didn't, SHE RUSHED THROUGH and the end results was tacky. She finished at 6.55pm on the dot. . Meanwhile the was a customer next to me and the lady working on her took time , because she was already having her nails dipped by time I got there at 6pm, yet her nails was done beautifully and with patience by 650pm. So in conclusion I was a first time customer and most certainly this will be my last. I've never done SNS nails where they took 35 from start to finish. Basically thry close at 7pm, and Icey without a care for me a new customer wanted my dam.nNails done so she finishes before 7pm and she did. I will never go back there. . I should have just drived to my normal place Lilburn Walmart off highway 29. The least time they spend on working on my nails for SNS is 90mins and they get me to do hand washes in between , which Icey never had me do at all . . No hand wash whatsoever. I came here cos its closer to my job so I simply wanted to try it. This makes me think most of the reviews I read are fa.ke. I didn't experience any extra friendliness. read more

I thought I would treat myself to a gel manicure and give this place a shot. Bad idea. I was not relaxed for a second. First of all, the lady that did my nails was overly aggressive. She did not have a soft touch AT ALL. She pushed my cuticles back way too hard. Same thing when she cut the cuticles. She nicked me a couple times and I was on edge the entire time. She also filed my nails way too hard and caused even more damage to my cuticles making them bleed. Even her massage at the end was unnecessarily aggressive and fast. She was rushed the entire time. That probably had to do with the fact that there was a walk-in waiting. I made an appointment and expected a nice experience but now I feel like I overpaid to get an aggressive and unrelaxing manicure. read more

The salon had a handful of people inside but they sat me down right away for my feet to soak. Linda had done my pedicure and was AMAZING. I have been going to this nail salon for months now. Never had issues until today. I've been getting SNS and gel pedicures each visit. Today the nail tech told me that it would be a $5 up charge for my long nails (real nails) which I have never paid before and always get them the same length. While I was getting my pedicure, the nail tech repeatedly kept trying to pull my arm across my stomach to do my nails, meanwhile I'm 8 months pregnant. She was getting agitated because my arm wouldn't cross over fully. Instead of her just rolling her chair to the other side. When I mentioned it, she said I'm sorry and continued to try to pull my arm across my stomach. She finally stopped doing my nails until my pedicure was done as I expressed continuous frustration with her. During checkout, nail tech added the up-charge which I already told her I was not paying because 1. My nails aren't long. 2. I've never paid an up charge. She said ok, i won't charge it. She still swiped my card including the charge. When I mentioned it, she said ohh I'm sorry, and she had no idea how to refund my card so instead she gave me cash. When I signed the receipt, she questioned my signature and my name on my card. As I mentioned to her, today was my last time visiting their business. read more

This is my second time going to this nail spa, and I was really satisfied the first time I came. I wanted a gel manicure the first time, but Icey convinced me to do sns. Then I had Annie due a spa pedicure, and I was satisfied with both services in which I tipped the both of them. I made a appointment for yesterday, and I was totally dissatisfied. First off, the salon had debris everywhere even in the seats, the arm rest, floor, and was just filthy! Then Annie was rushing on my pedicure, because she had a appointment after me. I had noticed as Annie was cutting my toenails the nail clippers (WHERE RUSTED BAD AT THE TOP AND HAD SOMEBODY ELSE LEFTOVER TOENAILS INSIDE OF THE DAMN CLIPPERS!! ) LIKE WTF! She didn't have a fresh clean kit of tools in a package she took out, and she just picked up the cuticle clippers/nail clippers she used from a previous customer! Everything was sitting out in the open, and around the dirty kit they keep everything on. Then the fingernail files they both used where dirty, raggedy, and wasn't brand new. They are re using the same (nail clippers, cuticle clippers, and fingernail files) on each customer that come in to get a service. There is no telling how long they have been using these tools on customers, and spreading all of these germs/bacteria everywhere! THIS IS MOST DEFINITELY A HEALTH HAZARDOUS! Then when Icey started on my manicure, I told her I wanted my cuticles cut really good. She put cuticle oil instead of cuticle softener so she didn't have to take the time to cut them. So I told her to wipe the oil off so she could cut them properly. She started acting like she didn't speak English, and Annie was still rushing on my pedicure. I told the both of them, I have no idea what is going on, but they both seem to be in a rush. They spoke English so well last time, but they try to act like they don't speak English when you're telling them something so they don't have to do it. When I came the first time it was cleaner, the customer service was good, and they really took care of me. I hate inconsistent nail salons, and they are most definitely inconsistent. Seeing how they where acting on yesterday, and how nasty the salon was disgusted me like no other. Then seeing the nasty rusted unsanitary toenail clipper with somebody else toenails in it was horrible! When Icey was doing my manicure she put a pillow and towel on me to prop my hands up. When I stood up to leave it was blue like debris and white debris all over me! She put a nasty ass towel with a pillow on me while doing my nails. They don't clean up after each client, and even keep the same nasty ass towels to use on each client. I rushed home to put alcohol all over my nails, and toenails so I want get any type of infection. This place need a thorough deep cleaning, and they need to get it together ASAP! read more
