I'm really really sensitive and easily get ingrown but trust that if they did it I have nothing to worry about. I think this business moved--I went to it when it was at The Forum. Yelp shows a different address but same owner. I'm sure Olga is awesome, but despite booking my eyebrow threading appointment with her specifically, I never met her and a random lady did my brows--I have scars above my right eyebrow, like, deep scars from my appointment that resulted in deep itchy rash. It also smelled odd during the threading like maybe rose witch hazel but I'm not sensitive to that normally. A simple alcohol or aloe solution would have been preferred. Maybe it just wasn't sanitary but anyway I left and almost immediately broke out in a super itchy skin inflammation and started my new job like that! This was several months ago (April 2025) and I still have the deep scars on my face from this amateur facility with newbies. I just remember wanting to scratch it so badly. I used to go to a threading and sugaring place in Alpharetta before I relocated, and never had a problem nor sensitivity there. Brazilian and eyebrows, never an issue. Bare Wax is not a place I will be returning to. What sucks is I didn't even need the service, just wanted to try the new place and be groomed and polished. Honestly there was no difference, she didn't even know how to trim my eyebrows so they looked basically the same as when I arrived. read more

I had not been able to find a good leg wax at a decent price since I relocated but Bare checks all of the boxes. I hardly ever make an appointment but walk-in's are a breeze. I stopped by here to get a Brazilian since it's conveniently located in the Forum shopping center and it's on my way home from work. I called beforehand to make an appointment and they requested a credit card to hold it. Since I was otw, I just said to make me a walk in. I'm not comfortable giving my credit card information over the phone, but I was told it's their policy. I got here around 5pm on a Wednesday and there were plenty of parking. They are located next to Mojito. I was greeted immediately when I walked in. The studio is bright and clean. They have many products for sale including jewelry and beauty. I waited a few minutes before Nadia (?) took me back. During the wax, she kept mentioning that my hairs are stubborn. The wax itself is navy in color. She tried using honey wax also and I was still left with so many hairs after. She even use tweezers. She also left me with wax all over the place. Olga is everything! My sister introduced me to her years ago and she is the absolute best at her craft. I've seen her for waxes through 2 pregnancies and she always makes me feel comfortable and like it's just a visit with an old friend. This was one of the worst experiences. The girl at the front (skinny with dark hair) had an attitude, wasn't customer service friendly at all, she seemed like she didn't know what she was doing. There are a number of aestheticians so you would always find an appointment when in crunch. The best part is they're open in the weekends. It is located inside The Forum plaza and has ample of free parking. They do take a 20% deposit for longer services that need appointments. You can book the service on phone or online. Today I went to Bare Wax in Norcross for the first time. I decided to get a tint and wax by Sara K. She was so nice and accommodating I couldn't have asked for a better aesthetician. Over the past few brow visits, to other studios, my brows were thinned out and bald in spots. I have to say I have been getting my eyebrows done for years and I have never, and I mean never, felt good about them when i left the studio. I had a good experience at Bare Waxing Studio. I called them the morning I wanted to get waxed and thankfully they were able to accommodate me later on that day! The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The place was clean and well decorated, had a nice vibe. The waxing rooms were private, with a curtain and a door closing them off. The waxing service was effective and efficient. They offer both soft wax and hard wax. I am not quite fond of the soft wax rollers, but they did apply the soft wax on without the rollers for certain areas which I appreciated. I would come back here again. read more

Such a nice waxing studio! It's very clean and they offer you water if you need it. The staff is friendly and accommodating when making an appointments. Appointments are easy to make and I've always been able to make same day appointments that fit my schedule. Sara is great! She does my Brazilian waxes and she's very patient with me (I have a low pain tolerance - so getting waxed is not exciting for me lol). Sara also threads my eyebrows and does a great job! She's super nice and I feel comfortable getting services from her. I'm not sure about the other aestheticians but I would recommend Sara to anyone. I'm new to the area and was in desperate needs of a clean up. After reading other reviews decided to give this place a try and I'm so glad I did. I booked 3 services online, Brazilian, full legs and brown threading. The online system was easy to navigate, and provided options for times. The receptionist phoned me about an hour before my appointment to confirm and let me know there was a scheduling change. She provided options and got me in as originally scheduled. The waxing studio was easy to locate. It's quite, peaceful and neatly arranged. I love the barn doors and curtain for added privacy. My Brazilian was with Lenee (like Renee, but with an L). She was GREAT! Very personable, quick and pain free. Though the booking was for 25 minutes, I'm sure it took less than 20 and this is my first waxing since Winter, just saying. Lenee also did my eyebrow threading. We talking about my previous botched job and discusses a plan for helping my brows along. Again, she was very attentive, quick and pain free. India took care of my legs. This was my first experience doing a full leg. Again, she was very personable, used various waxes for delicate areas (upper and inner thigh), quick and pain free. I came here bc of the great reviews but I'm pretty unsatisfied. I'm giving three stars because my esthetician Sara was so nice! Unfortunately she left a lot of hair behind, because I'm not an experienced waxed I wasn't sure if that was a normal result. So when Bare Wax sent a follow up automated text message...I voice my concerns. They said it was no problem, they would have the receptionist call me the following day. She never did. 10 minutes to close I called the store and I kid you not, the response was extremely jarring. I told this young woman that I was expecting her call because a lot of hair was missed during my appointment and the texting service told me she would reach out. I just wanted to ask a few questions (thinking it could have been my fault for squirming from the pain). This girl goes "Um that's not my job to reach out to you. I'm not sure what you want...do you need to file a complaint? Like... do you want to get a manager because I can't help you." All that was said before I had the chance to explain my situation. She then attempted to schedule a touch up appointment, with the same esthetician. She gave me one, 1 hour time slot and said "that's all I got so..." Long story short I'm taking my business elsewhere solely bc of the receptionist. I wanted to start off by saying, I've been a customer here since 2018! I've had some awesome and some OK experiences, but overall I've been satisfied with the services I receive. Today I unfortunately had a bad experience. I've booked with Kay F many times before but today my service was completely rushed and 1000x more painful than the norm. I have never had a person wax me and not apply pressure after or not give me a second between pulling strips. She seemed like she was in a huge rush but when I left I saw no one waiting for her, nor a reason for the rush. She also pushed my legs towards me in an uncomfortable way after telling me I'm not positioned right, I've gotten a wax every month for years and have never had that complaint. This was horrible and I will continue to book with others, my favorite wax lady wasn't available so I had to book with whoever was available and that was the biggest mistake. Let me start by saying the location is beautiful, clean, and the front desk woman is very kind and nice to talk to. PLEASE, do not come here, though. I went in for a last minute lip wax before I had to meet a friend for dinner next door. They were able to squeeze me in since it's such a quick service. The woman that waxed me was very sweet, but ruined my lip. She went over the same spot multiple times and still left hairs. I left with just a normal red lip, wasn't so bad, but it I as burning so much (I've had many waxes before and never has it been this bad) and stiff to where I couldn't even move my lip to eat. It wasn't until my friend suggested I go look in the mirror that I saw giant welts in my Lip and it was so painful and I was so embarrassed had to leave. I had to get aloe and burn cream! Please do not risk it coming here. Burns scar and I'm lucky I treated it properly but please don't make the same mistake I made in trusting a nice looking place! The Brookhaven location does not yet have a page however, it needs to be said that I have been very satisfied with my eyebrow waxing the past times I've been here, enough to keep coming back....however this time Tonya did my eyebrows she I am in tears of disappointment and find myself questioning whether I want to come back. It wasn't so bad after all! Sara was great. We talked the entire time about kids and vacation spots which was nice distraction given that I'm not a "waxing" pro. I wish I could remember the name of the lady at the desk who checked me in and out but she was very nice and answered a of my questions. I went in for a Brazilian and underarm wax. I hadn't been here in years but was in a bind this week. The lady that serviced me was very nice and seemed thorough, but when she left the room and I looked down I realized there was quite a bit of hair left. My initial reaction was going to be to call her back in to remove it, but then I decided that I do not want to have to tell the person doing my Brazilian what an empty down there is supposed to look like. I started coming here because the reviews were great, the first person I got(Olga) was great. Since then it's gone from bad to worse... today was the breaking point. Front desk was rude, and the waxing service was terrible. I not only have tons of leftover hair but I've been getting this done long enough to know when someone is doing it wrong and they lady today did not care which direction my hair was laying she just ripped in one direction. Never had this painful of an experience and now I'm swollen with a rash and even bleeding in some spots. Thought maybe it would go down after a dews hours but it actually looks worse. I am a veteran waxer and this was one of the most painful brazilian's I have ever had. It was also one of the longest. The woman who did mine did not seem to have a lot of experience with hard wax. She was very impatient for the wax to set up and kept pulling it long before it was ready. Most that know what they are doing will apply the wax to a few different spots at the same time so it can set and then go back and pull it. She just applies waits a few seconds then starts to pull. Ouch! Upon cleanup and inspection at home I found that the back has a lot of hair left. She didn't even try to get the ones she missed with a second pass or even do a looksee to check her work. I do not recommend this place at all. Stay far away. read more

My aesthetician Janeida was wonderful, however, my lashes barely lasted 48 hours! I followed the care instructions exactly as they were stated, but began to experience lifting by the 2nd day. When I called to speak with the owner (or manager) Kayla about the experience, she became very defensive; she didn't even hear me out. She immediately began telling me that I couldn't have followed the instructions properly, that a refund was not an option, and that their services aren't guaranteed, although I never mentioned or expected a refund. She did eventually offer me another application and apologized for my dissatisfaction. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at the studio, but the customer service I received from management left a lot to be desired. Again, my aesthetician and the young lady at the front desk were wonderful to work with. I am disappointed; I thought I had found a lash studio to call home. read more

This was my first time getting waxed and I was nervous!!! Janeida did such an amazing job! It wasn't pain free but it was as painless as possible. She was great and told me exactly what I needed to do. I even had to bring my infant baby in the room and she was crying and Janeida didn't even flinch. (Thank goodness!!! Haha).
