Recently purchased a beautiful surfboard inspired charcuterie board that I had my eye on for a while. I used this serving piece during the holidays and I absolutely love it. Usually, I come here to shop for coastal themed Christmas ornaments to adorn my tree or purchase the pretty jewelry. It's a great place to browse (and covet) tasteful decor as well as unique gifts for that person that is hard to buy for. If you're a visitor or a local, check it out. The staff is always welcoming. Street metered parking.

In November, I saw a nautilus shaped ceramic vase that was the perfect present for family member. Two days later, I came back to get it...sold. Debbie was amazing by working with company to get another one by the time I was going out of town.

I was unaware that Fringe had moved into my neighborhood until I was tipped off by a Yelper, yay! I loved their shop in Lomita http://static.px.yelp.com/bphoto/cznTghOSGh6hkWt8GR_Avw/l which will be closing soon....but not before they hold a big clearance sale, I was told by the proprietor. Anyway, just as my Yelpette friend described to me, the new Redondo location is better than ever. It's across the street from Yellow Vase in Riviera Village. Fringe sells unusual stuff, an eclectic mix. There are antiques, and there's new stuff too. I got lots of gift ideas when I stopped in the other day. Especially impressive were the glass chandeliers, and I am always attracted to colorful vintage glassware. http://static.px.yelp.com/bphoto/tTiUf59vDNiHKBwwDpz0-Q/l Seashells are plentiful, in baskets at Fringe. I learned how beautiful the shells are when all cleaned up; with a cleaning process, the same rustic shells I pick up on Torrance Beach can be transformed into decorative, shimmering jewels, who knew..... Welcome to the neighborhood, Fringe!

Perfectly dreamy inspiration for my life goal of becoming a mermaid!

As a gay family in Hermosa it can feel sometimes like we are the only ones, but when my kids see the rainbows and pride on our usual walk from the beach up Pier Ave, I know we have settled in the right place to raise our family and are so grateful for neighbors like Curious making our little beach community feel like home.

Such a cool gift shop year round, but extra special during the Christmas season. There is also a loft area with lots of goodies. I like to walk in and browse, but I always end up finding something I can't live without. LOL. Great, friendly (dedicated) owner. Always interacting with the customers with pleasantries. She checked us out. While other times I have been in the store I have received wonderful assistance and suggestions, this time the sales clerk sold us what she told us was a miniature puzzle, which we realized once we left she was inaccurate. I do love this store and have found many unique special gifts for friends, daughters and myself. The store is located in Malaga Cove shopping center which has a wonderful breakfast/lunch spot, coffee, deli, market and ice cream shop. So a drive to Corners of the World shop is definitely worth it.

There is a huge assortment of large and small charms to choose from, and many different colors of glue for your creative purposes. Above all, the customer service here stand out from the rest because the business is owned by a small family and is very customer oriented. The owner and the other shop staff were all very very kind, so special thank you to both him and the young man who went out of their way to make our experience very fun and seamless today. When we walked in after coming from next-door at Clawcade, I didn't realize Chamu was new but I'm very happy we had our first charm experience here rather than at other charms stores across Los Angeles. I love supporting small business and the Family running. This shop's family was so kind and attentive, going out of their way to help provide additional cute options of charms and teach us the best way to apply the glue. Because of this, no other charm store can compare and I highly recommend Chamu for any Yelpers looking for a fun charms experience! Also their assortment of charms were super cute. There were all sorts of Disney characters, hello Kitty, whimsical, dessert, glitter, and other types and styles for every type of person out there. There was even a box full of medical themed charms which I felt was pretty interesting. I personally loved their little vegetable themed charms. With Mother's Day coming up, I thought it'd be super cute to make a special phone case for my mom, and a huge thank you to the kind folks at Chamu for a wonderful fun experience! Expect to pay ~50$ for a flexible phone case but the experience is so fun and priceless! You get to pick 12 large charms, and unlimited small charms, which are all really cute, as well as up to 2 colors of glue. Thanks Chamu for an excellent time!
