Frisbees is a great place for those that can eat ice cream, but if you're like me (dairy free), they don't have much variety. Their prices are fair and their portions are comparable to the prices. 4 of us had single scoops for $12 and some change. Tacky in a good way. We had ice cream here yesterday & I ordered cookies & cream. I was super impressed that they had so many soft serve flavors. Frisbee's is a fun little ice cream shop to stop at to/from the beach. They have many different flavors of soft serve ice cream, from chocolate cake batter to more traditional ones. They also have lots of toppings to choose from (wet walnuts AND dry walnuts ). The person taking my order was very nice and the ice cream was served at the window quickly. The birthday cake soft serve was a good size, tasted good, and had lots of sprinkles. If ice cream isn't your thing, don't worry- they also have malts, shakes, and savory snacks (pretzels, nachos, etc.) The prices are reasonable ($2.50 for a small). read more

Five stars for a great local ice cream shop featuring a large variety of soft serve! Frisbee's is what appears to be a knock-off Twistee Treat. It has the same ice cream cone shaped building and it also has the same large variety of soft-serve flavors ranging from lemon custard to nutella. I believe they also have slushies and other ice cream types. As a fun addition, they also sell hot dogs, homemade sloppy joes, pretzels and couple other savory snacks. For the ice cream, there are a lot of toppings and the prices are reasonable. They also give out soft-serve for puppies! The location is convenient and has ample parking. There are also several benches and tables.There are also plenty of shady spots so you stay out of the sun. I've been twice and they usually have a themed sitting areas for photos as well. Overall, if you're in the area, this is a solid stop for ice cream! read more

After stopping here and having the soft serve I decided to read as many reviews from other sites that I could find before writing this review to see if any others have had a similar experience. My initial impression was this is not real ice cream and I have read reviews from others who share that opinion. The ice cream wasn't cold I know that sounds strange and it still baffles me today. The product was smooth and creamy but had a waxy feel in my mouth others have described it as foamy. I have passed by this establishment for sometime and watched it's construction and couldn't wait to stop in and try it out since it's got such a unique design and very conveniently located. It definitely has curb appeal and seems to be very popular among the locals. The staff was super friendly and attentive but even that can't make up for the quality of the soft serve and this review is strictly based on that one item. I definitely will try them again when passing through the area and if I find the first visit was a anomaly or a fluke due to some happenstance I certainly will update my review and do the right thing. I am hoping it was just a bad day at the giant ice cream cone building. read more

4.5 stars for a fun Twistee Treat rebranding. I've been a huge fan of Twistee Treats for as long as I have been visiting Florida. Any time I would drive out to visit my wife's relatives in Titusville, I would always stop of the Colonial location on our way out. When I was visiting Titusville recently and in the mood for some ice cream, I was told about a nearby rebranded Twistee Treat location called Frisbee's. Located on US 1 in Mims, Frisbee's has that same large ice cream cone store look, but it offers a few fun little extras that helped set it apart. The first thing that Frisbee's offers is a good deal of seating with lots of fun little decorations and sounds around the area. Whether it is the America-themed area out front or the funky jams playing as you eat, this ice cream spot makes for more of a fun hangout spot beyond just the ice cream. The other thing that sets this ice cream spot apart is it had lots of options beyond your standard ice cream. While other Twistee Treats have been getting into the hot dog game in recent years, this place had sloppy joes, pretzels and several other snacks. While I ordered my standard chocolate and peanut butter swirl waffle cone (so good), they also offered fun ice cream options like a banana pudding sundae (it sounded so good that I almost ordered it instead). Additionally, when it came to pup treats, while I didn't see any of the pup cups that other Twistee Treats try to sell you, our request for a pup cup was met with a free small cup of straight vanilla ice cream! Talk about making for an enjoyable ice cream experience. Overall, Frisbee's provides a great ice cream experience for the area. While Twistee Treats will always have a special place in my heart, I would have no problem checking this place out again any time I'm in the area. read more

Went here for a family ice cream trip...come here quite often for a quick treat, it's local, usually good, but not this time! Was suggested a pumpkin cheesecake shake, based off of the pumpkin cheesecake special. The flavor was off, didn't taste like pumpkin very much so politely went back saying "we hate to do this" but the flavors are not good. The boy looked at us shaking his head as we put in a new order that now we had to pay for! When we asked why we had to pay, the manager came up....so disrespectful, told us it's our fault for choosing this flavor, said "we wouldn't recommend it but it's not our job to tell you flavors" no apologizes just looked at us like we were stupid. Very very disappointed not sure we will go back. read more

This is a fine place for ice cream. It's fun little place and easy to order. They have a lot on the menu. Everyone seemed happy enough. We ordered a sundae, shake and two dipped cones. The dipped cones were not dipped enough. What i mean is that as soon as they handed them to us, they were melting everywhere. They need to double or triple dip! Overall, pretty good for ice cream that isn't out of a carton. They do offer dog ice cream which made my mom really happy. Our dog was more interested in my cone but it was sweet that they have that. Growing up in New York, we look for soft ice-cream that reminds us of Mr. Softer 's ice-cream....For 7 plus years we have not been able to find it...We have passed this ice-cream shop many tes, but kept riding pass just thinking that it's the same as the Twisty Treats everywhere else in Florida.....but one day, we decided to stop here instead of going all the way to Orlando, and GUESS WHAT!!!!....We FOUND soft ice-cream that reminds us of New York's Mr. Softer!!!!‍‍‍. My family will NOT be going to Orlando Anymore for soft ice-cream...and we have all flavors right here close to home!! read more

Poor customer service. They charge $0.50 to get an empty cup. I should have just enjoyed my ice cream and let it drip all over the table and let them clean it up. How tight on money do you have to be when you have to charge a customer who just spent $24 at your establishment for a cup that cost a few pennies. A customer right before me was give a plastic cup to dump his cone into, and I doubt he was charged for it. I think I would have heard him complaining as well if he was. Saving a few pennies on a cup is not worth losing a customer over. For a small business, I do not see the logic. Customer service is what sets small businesses apart. read more

We saw the reviews in yelp and since we hadn't had much lunch thought we would treat ourselves. Both of us love ice cream and in years past owned an ice cream store. The service was friendly and fast. The ice cream was the real thing. This had low air whipped into it so you get a very smooth dense intense flavor that is just outstanding. They also offer about 20 flavors even though it's soft serve. Price was very reasonable for the excellent quality. Try it you'll enjoy it. read more

This is probably some of the best soft serve Ice cream I have ever had. They have about 15 flavors, all soft serve. Small family run business, with a bubble machine bowing bubbles around the place, such a cute touch. I had a medium sundae with peanut butter ice cream, comes with whipped cream, hot fudge or whatever you like, nuts and a cherry. All for $3.00. It was amazing and I will be returning shortly to try the pistachio. Butter pecan was also delish! I highly recommend, go out and try it now! read more

Extremely yummy - my strawberry milkshake had real strawberry pieces in it. Their chocolate shake was super rich and yummy. Sizes are large and it was very affordable. Definitely recommend it. We will be back next time we are in this part of the county. read more
