Plus there is a future development poster inside. We need more mom and pop, not more corporate culture and certainly less development in Colorado. They don't sell actual food, just snacks. They have a rack of equipment. Helmets are mandatory for minors. There is a line to go up now and it's fairly long which means less sliding. The only thing this place has is snowmaking and it's been a dry winter.

She tailored our ride to how "spicy" we wanted to make it, so since it was our first time rafting, that made us feel great. The trip was the perfect level of excitement for us as beginners. It was fun, thrilling, and adventurous without ever feeling overwhelming. My sons, ages 10 and 13, had an absolute blast and want to plan another trip back. We even got to see a bald eagle along the river, it was phenomenal. The weather was perfect, and the whole experience was incredibly well organized. It's also just under two hours from Denver, making it a great day trip. We really appreciated the free parking, and they kept our car keys safely in the office while we were out on the river. We felt completely comfortable leaving everything else locked in our car. We couldn't have asked for a better first rafting experience. He stated " thank you for bringing this to my attention but I don't feel comfortable about sending my guide out with you. I said I'm just bringing this to your attention and love working with Pete. He said he was canceling our trip! At this point now I'm mad! I try to help this guy and tell him we have no problem with Pete and it's your company that has the problem. They sent an email the morning of cancelling our trip due to a "family emergency". We were upset, but ended up being able to float through Sage Outdoors (definitely recommend, but we had to drive to Dotsero ourselves) and they said the Turtle Tubbing cancellations been happening all summer, so clearly not a family emergency. HUGE SCAM. Not confident we will get refunded nearly $800 but we are hoping to dispute the charge. This business NEEDS to be shut down.
