After entering through the front door, a deputy sitting at a desk will ask what type of service you're needing and direct you accordingly. I needed to get license plate questions answered so I visited the DMV office here. You go to the kiosk, enter what you're needing and you get a ticket. There's 4-5 employees behind a glass encased walk-up area similar to a bank teller's set-up. The employees are nice and accommodating (there's a handicap area as well). Everything is quick, clean, and well lit (tall, floor to ceiling windows). This is nothing like the "old days" DMV to get license plates and handicap paring permits.

Truly a joke, when I guess she returned from vacation, it made sense to make this not a priority and do 2 weeks of catching up and if I wouldn't have called today, no telling when I would get the key. They say Friday but I won't hold my breath. Now I have to go drive and be inconvenienced and pick up my mail, because of the incompetence going on.. then they want to try and justify their mistake by telling me what they see in a log. Look lady, I only picked up a key you guys called and told me was ready, brought it back when it opened my neighbors box instead of mine in front of a USPS supervisor. He could have fixed the issue but wanted you guys held responsible for your own mistake. Now you're on the phone telling me the one person who does the keys don't have it logged and never been to this address. Which is neither here nor there to a customer. I don't know what you guys processes are like. It's definitely one thing, flawed!!! And it's more than one person making keys if she doesn't have a recollection of it. ONE 1-mile stretch of road in Frisco will create something like 47,000 jobs. Add in the mile south of that exact same road and it jumps to something like 65,000 jobs CREATED! That's just ONE road in the whole city!!! How does that happen? A great team of city managers and a kick a-- Chamber of Commerce. That's how. What is happening here is a once in a lifetime thing, and we have our Chamber to thank in large part to the opportunities and leadership. They are progressive, motivated, unique, and driven to succeed. Every business owner should be participating in the Chamber. The rewards are countless. I am personally biased and think the Thursday morning Get On Track networking is one of the best perks, but there are so many other meetings, trainings, events, resources, and people that add value to the local business community I cannot truly explain them all. After my bank overpaid my monthly bill, I tried to get a refund. 3 calls later I finally got a lady in billing who said "sure come on in and prove to us we have your money and that it cleared the bank". This being after three billing statements mind you where it is obvious they have my money. I tell the lady that I am on my way and that I can prove that they have my cash by logging into a computer and accessing my online account showing that the dough has cleared (3 months ago!) So I go in and walk over to the desk where Tweedledum and Tweedledumber are sitting and tell them that I am there for a refund. After listening to them tell me again that I have to prove that they have my money (after 3 months) I tell them that I spoke with a lady and that that was what I was there to do. Now get this, one of the ladies tells me that she needs proof from my bank, I tell her that logging in to my account is proof and she says "no, we need something from the bank" I tell her we can print out the statement, well she doesn't get it and this goes on for another 10 minutes. The two behind the desk now need to call another lady, who also doesn't get it. "All I do is print the refund checks they tell me to print" she says and walks away. At this point Tweedledum says "anyway we don't have a computer you can use to log into your account so let me have a supervisor call you later 'cause she is at lunch now"... OMG, they need to start to administer IQ tests to some of these public employees.

I had a quick question about postage because I absolutely hate it when I mail something with the incorrect amount and it gets sent back to me. The clerk was able to help me out within just a couple of minutes. The entire visit was quick, easy, and stress-free. Plus, because it went so fast, I actually had some time left over to just relax before going back on the clock! Highly recommend this location.

Don't waste your time coming here for that stuff. Just go to the one on Stonebrook 2. The kiosk machine seems to rarely be in service and when it does work it will charge your credit card but not spit out the postage. Don't bother calling the postal service about a refund or anything else regarding the kiosk. Only the store personnel can assist you. Which leads to the 3rd item. 3. The store hours don't seem very reasonable. They aren't open the times I can get there this the reason to use the kiosk. The postal service owes me a refund of $14 for postage that never printed but since I can't get there during their hours I am out of luck. Even though the Stonebrook location is a long ways away, I have to go there for anything postal related. Maybe someday the government will hire someone that will change the attitude of the postal service by introducing an aspect of customer service!!!
