I order the breakfast for Uber eats, the lady calls me to say cheese is extra and that the tortilla is extra. I tell her I've ordered in the past and that's included but she flat out said no. Average at best. Ordered the gyro omelette which was pretty expensive IMO. It also was almost tasteless. Aside from the average food I think the owner is trying to save money by keeping the A/C at around 78. On a 95° day it gets pretty hot in a resturant. Also be aware those of you that like to use Amex. They don't accept it. Even after offering to pay the 3% fee that Amex charges, they said no. Now I have to scramble to pay the check and be embarrassed in front of my friends because my bank account was low and I don't carry cash. Mix feelings about this place, the food is good most of the times, but in my last order I had a "pice of glass" on my potato salad. I call the restaurant and asked for the owner to tell him what happen, but he wasn't there and ask for the manager and also was not around. I told the lady that answer the phone to inspect the potato salad or to throw it away so someone else won't hurt him self with a glass, but her answer was "they sold all the potato salad" and there's nothing she can do. I made a comment that I wanted to try everything perhaps I should get a sampler, the girl behind the counter said "sure why not,that way next time you know what you want to eat." My husband and I decided to give this place a try since it had good reviews. We ordered 2 completas containing gallo pinto, carne asada, tajadas and a side of queso frito. We also ordered some chicken taquitos. The cashier was nice and ensured everything was in the bag.. Unfortunately when we got home we realized that we were charged for all the food we ordered but only 1 completa was bagged along with the taquitos. The taquitos were drenched in oil I guess this place doesn't believe in draining the taquitos after frying them I took a bite out of one of them and they were soggy and drenched in oil it was so gross, we couldn't eat them. First off, food was disgusting they gave me the smallest/ thinnest carne asada pieces and the queso frito wasn't even completely fried. Second, customer service is terrible walked in mind you I'm the only customer four ladies working no one said "hi welcome" they all just looked me up and down and stared at me with a blank face I had to scream hi still didn't get a response from them.... Last, food is super overpriced for literally shit. Idc to pay for food that is worth it but $17 just for carne asada gallo pinto queso two picantes and a chimichurri ($.50 extra each salsa).
