Yadira is the BEST! This is an eyebrow makeover and therapy session for me. Obsessed is an understatement. My eyebrows are a DREAM!

I have been a client of Yadira's for over 5 years. I started seeing her for threading when she was renting in a salon suite and she has grown her business to a full service brow boutique. In addition to threading, she did my microblading & the touch up that comes with it as well as two touch ups thereafter, at least one year apart each. She's been doing brows for over 15+ years and she is the only person I trust. Anytime I needed to visit a place elsewhere for whatever reason, I regretted it. She has taste and knows what good brows should look like. She is extremely accommodating which is not common in popular beauticians. I can sometimes be a bit of a pain because I run late a lot and she always found a way to squeeze me in and if she couldn't, she made up for it another way. My tardiness was fully a problem of my own and I appreciate the way she's treated me all thes years. I've lived all over LA and have driven from as far as Santa Monica and even Tarzana to see her. I waited years to look for a artist who fit my style and who's work I loved. I finally booked a appointment with Yadira. I told her what I was looking to get and the one thing I was very specific about is symmetry. I told her I had oily skin and she responded that my skin looked "normal type" as my brows healed, a lot of the ink didn't stay as the technique she used didn't account for my oily skin. Upon going back to my touch up, she was running late and I can feel her rushing but I gave her the benefit of a doubt. My eyebrows have healed and one is thicker than the other, she also made one darker than the other. I have to draw them in to make them even which defeats the reason of getting them micro bladed , It sucks because this is permanently on your face and you try to choose wisely as she is also not the cheapest artist. read more

I had my brows done by Laura Roberts and I am so pleased with the results! Natural and not at all overdone- just what I was looking for. It has saved me so much time in the morning getting ready and I wake up to even brows. Even my husband (who hates it when I "beauty splurge" on things like skin treatments) says it was money well spent. She is an artist as well as being extremely sweet and explains the entire process. I found Yadira through Yelp so it's fair to share my experience too... I've never felt more comfortable trusting someone with my brows than I do with Yadira. I've seen her 3 times now and she's helped me grow them out and shape them for a fuller brow. I'm so happy and it feels so great to walk in and not have to worry about how you're going to look when you leave... she just knows exactly what she's doing and knows how they look best. I've always struggled with my eyebrows and could never get them to appear even when I would apply makeup. After so many years, I gave up and decided to go for microblading. I searched for awhile and ended up finding Laura Roberts on Instagram and loved her style of microblading. She goes more for a natural look instead of the heavy shading and ombré style that is also popular. I booked an appointment online and the closest appointment time was almost two months away. On the day of my appointment, she explained the process and assured me it would not be painful, which was very accurate. After the procedure, she'll explain the aftercare for the brows and you can buy her kit with the ointment for $8. The brows will initially look darker after the procedure but it will lighten up with time. Just don't get them wet for the first 10 days. They'll also set up a touch up appointment before you leave, which is also included in the price. Overall, I'm very pleased with my eyebrows and couldn't be happier I went with Laura. She is a little expensive but you get what you pay for and she's totally worth it. read more
