The staff are unfriendly to each other in front of the customer and although the store was not busy no one approached me. So I had to ask for help and when I did the person I encountered was unfriendly towards me, had a negative tone of voice and her entire body language made me feel rushed. In the past the staff has always been professional. If it wasn't for the mail in promotion I would of purchased all my items at Bloomingdales. This Kiehl's is located in the Americana right next to SEE Eyewear (same direction heading towards Drybar). COVID-19 Safety Procedures: Staffers wore face masks and gloves. There's plexiglass behind the cashier station, hand sanitizer available and 6ft social distancing enforced. The store is clean, relaxing, welcoming and pretty organized. There were two employees working in there when I came in to redeem my Birthday freebie (lip balm with any purchase). Timothy greeted me and asked if I needed any assistance while his coworker manned the online/in-store pickup station. I already knew what I wanted, but appreciated the gesture. After selecting my item ($32 Ultra Facial Cream Moisturizer, love this stuff!), Timothy finalized the rest of my transaction and got me my choice of flavored Birthday freebie lip balm (I picked Mint) and sample, which was actually a 4.0oz of Hand Sanitizer, noice!!! Horrible customer service. I decided to stop by Khiels today in the morning to restock on some moisturizer and cleanser. And I happened to be with my friends who were just buying some Potato Corner right across the store. It was raining too so I told them that we can wait for the rain to stop while shopping for some products. But all of a sudden, this male sales associate (I think his name is Victor) rudely told my friends to step outside because they were blocking the entryway. She was barely just about to get out of the store to go to the Potato Corner across. Also, I was browsing through the shelves shopping AND I WAS LITERALLY THE ONLY ONE IN THERE. THE STORE WAS DEAD. I just felt bad for what happened to my friend so I decided to just leave. I just hope this guy will get some re-education on how customer service is a vital part of his job as a sales associate. Worst customer service!!!!! It was a rainy Monday, I'm from Vegas about to go home but i decided to stop over Kiehls specifically this location in front of potato corner. Im a very big fan of kiehls and I already ran out of all the products that i always use from this brand so i had to make a quick stop over, but what a surprise, this employee, guy with curly hair has ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE. My friends are waiting outside while raining and I'm telling them to go inside since I'm buying products anyways, but instead he told us to move away from the store because we are blocking the entrance, mind you it's raining!!! I just came from this store at the Americana at Brand. When I was outside the glass door outside, a guy/staff sitting inside and I thought the door was locked. I was standing outside and he did not even get up from his seat to let me know that it is open or to welcome me. He was just watching me outside trying to figure our if door is locked. I've only ever shopped at the Kiehl's in Sherman Oaks over the past few years, and mainly purchasing gifts for a close male friend of ours from their Mens line which he loves. Every now and again I'll pick up something for myself to try, but I'm addicted to Fresh so I don't often use Kiehl's personally. We went into this location to purchase a holiday gift for my boyfriends brother and were met by an employee who wasn't so friendly. Bothered me a bit and even caused me to tell my boyfriend we should purchase from our usual store. She wasn't pushy but not friendly at all, and continued to basically tell us what we could touch or purchase and what not. Excuse me, I don't need to be told I'm not able to purchase something from you're display shelf. Rude! I had to tell her my boyfriend isn't trying to purchase this exact bottle, he is simply looking at it. It was nearly enough to have me walk out but I stayed. They are currently running a $20 off of $65 promo, you may need to be a member which I am and which is also super simple if you aren't. The products I've used and liked from this line include the brief stint of their Pure Vitality Skin Renewing Manuka Honey cream, which I haven't seen around lately and I absolutely adore their Coriander hand cream. It smells sooooo good. Their avocado eye cream and facial oils are also very nice. I've gifted a wide range of their men's line and it always seems to go over well and used a few of their other products at Equinox (shampoo, conditioner and body lotion - which were all so so in my opinion, for my needs). Most recently I purchased the Coriander body/shower gel, another Coriander hand creme of course and their absolutely amazing Dry Oil with Almond and Vanilla (smells sooo good and feels silky smooth amazing on the body!). I'd recommend shopping here for skin care needs and by the time we were ready to check out we were helped by a young man who was very friendly and helpful unlike our first encounter with the very strange and rude woman employee. Oh! SAMPLES! These are always fun, they are extremely helpful with recommended samples, which are always nice to try prior to purchasing skincare products that are a bit higher priced than your grocery store Aveeno, Lubriderm and Dove ;) So definitely go that route if you aren't completely sold on a product right off the bat and they'll be happy to provide. read more

After the dermaread he suggested many products for my skin and went as far as testing them on my face to ensure I loved the product before buying it. Came in for a facial and Nicole was so kind and made me feel so welcomed. She took her time with my face and even moisturized my hands!!! Literally I was in shock with the snack also :') she also put a lip oil at the end that matched my face perfectly! Couple hours later, my face looks so good... I woke up from a nap and I'm still glowing!! My face feels less swollen and hydrated. Kiehls products already speak for themselves, but the staff in this location really makes the experience so comfortable. I wouldn't consider myself a skincare nut, but to some (especially my boyfriend), I am obsessed!! I was glad to stumble upon this Kiehl's in the Glendale Galleria since the Kiehl's store locator doesn't seem to show any locations in the LA region despite there being locations in nearly every Westfield mall. I also am always happy to purchase something in store rather having things shipped to me to reduce the environmental impact of shipping. I generally like Kiehl's products and was excited to have a wider range of products available to me as the websites I use have a curated/limited selection. I don't remember who helped me in the store, but the older woman there made me feel like an inconvenience for asking questions :( I asked her questions like which product is more moisturizing, which face mask have people liked the most, and she lowkey blew me off and pointed me to the information cards that I already read. The other Kiehl's employees stood in the back talking to each other, so I can't say that customer service is personable. I ended up buying the small size of the turmeric mask, and I don't really feel like it's even doing anything for me. I do like the cream that I bought since it keeps my dry ass face moisturized all day, but I wish I received better customer service since I didn't really feel helped. Wow. What awful service. I bought a big bottle of face wash and the pump doesn't work. So I zipped in to ask for a new pump. Should be easy in 2019, look up my purchase with my card and give me a new pump for my faulty product. I really didn't think the simplest of interactions today would end in this. Instead of, "oh no, I'm sorry the pump doesn't work, let me help you," I get "uhh, well you can always bring it back." [I don't know how to describe her tone of voice, but to say it's the bored, nasally, post-valley-girl tone of "like, I'm at work, and like you're really a problem because I only know how to ring stuff up and this wasn't in my training manual, so like, I need to not deal with stuff I can't understand."] So I inquire, "really? I have to bring it back? I'm here now." Her: "we have to see it." Me: "see it? Look it doesn't work, can I get a new pump." Her: "well if you want, you can wait for my manager to come in." Instead, perhaps I'll round up all my Kiehl's products and take advantage of your anytime for any reason guarantee. This will be the most expensive replacement pump you never gave out. Store Manager was incredible helpful and definately one of the best sales I'd ever met. She knew her customers better yet, she knew the products unlike some of the reps. at the counters in dept. stores. Always giving us samples to try. She knows after we tried it we'll definately be back. If you don't like the products, as long as its not more then half empty, they'll gladly return it for you. They show you they appreciate your business by sending thank you cards. Little gestures like that will make me go back to their shop even if it's so far away from me. They have little great incentives and specials once in awhile. They also have a green recycle program, where you return empty bottles for products! read more

This place has 2 sales assistants and I was lucky that the person who was helping me was extremely knowledgable. First of all, she examined my skin for oil production and then recommended the products that will suit me the most. The consultation she gave me was more than enough, every question, detail, ingredient and usage about the products was explained to me clearly and I was happy to make the right purchase. I love coming to the Americana in general so this is a great perk. The lady at the counter really helped me pinpoint my needs and gave me recommendations based off my skin and needs. You can also build your own serum to target areas of need. I got the vitamin c serum for anti aging and she gave me a sample of anti aging face cream. It works so well and is very smooth.
