I really wanted to like this place, but our bartender was very rude and clearly did not want to be there. Service was just bad. I had never been to a froggers and was excited. The setting is pretty cool. I asked the bartender, what's good here? And she said everything. I asked what she liked and she said she doesn't ever order anything that's on the menu. I asked which burger was popular and she said she builds her own. There was zero help given and she walked away or acted I was the worst person on the planet for asking questions. Mind you, it wasn't busy at all. My order came out correctly, but my friends didn't. There was no following up to see if we were enjoying our food or if we needed anything. The cheeseburger was very bland, came with no condiments. The experience with the bartender was already so miserable, so I didn't ask for anything and just ate the burger dry. We went to eat here because my nephew is a regular and says it's great. They had some good specials. I got a Philly cheesesteak my nephew got a buffalo chicken sandwich and my husband got the Frogger burger. I have to say the food was pretty good and you got a great amount of food for what you paid. The only reason I'm only given a three stars that I thought the service sucked. The waitress we have may have been new, but she only came around to take our drink order which took forever and only two people were getting drinks from the bar. I was drinking soda. I was never asked if I wanted a refill, but she came back to refill the beers. The food took forever to come out and when it came out, mine was incorrect and I had to send it back and then I noticed the table next to us. The lady there had the same problem and they were waiting forever for their food. This was before they got real busy. When I go there again? Yeah probably like I said the food was good, but maybe it's better service at the bar?? Anyways, the three stars for the lack of good service and the time it took to get our food I would give five star for the food. read more

Have been going here since my wife and I moved up here. Food normally is good. A little not up to standard here an there. Alot of the staff know us by name. Decided to order cheese steaks and did it as a pick up. Its a great deal at $7.50. We always order double everything. They also do half price appetizers too. So orders their onion petals NON SPICY and fried mushrooms. Boy was i surprised when I picked up the food. Full price for the cheesesteaks. Was told when you order extra you pay for it. Now maybe because we know the staff so well in the past, they didn't charge( a good portion of the staff is gone now) and had to go all way back to the bar to pick up my food. I ask for the manager. When she came out and she knows my wife and I so well, first time she could not have been so rude and noncaring. Even after explained everything it was too bad so sad. I paid for the food and came home. Sure enough the onion pedals were spicy. My wife can't do spicy. I had to peel the breading off every single pedal. It's decent. Medium sized sports bar with big tvs everywhere playing all sorts of sports balls. The food,which is why I ventured in on a Sunday afternoon was solidly decent. It wasn't crowded,service was very good.The food,while being not no big to write home about ,was solid. The max and cheese was very cheesy and I was t expecting that,I would definitely order it again. Cheeseburger,again decent and solid. Portions are generous. Prices very reasonable.It looks like despite all the price increases everywhere on everything Froggers is still making a table service casual meal affordable. I've been wanting to try Froggers and finally got the opportunity. It was a lovely day so asked to be seated outside. Inside was spacious with many TVs and a bar dividing two sections. Host walked us through the server station near the kitchen to the outside, which was the shortest path but felt a little odd. In fact, I held back thinking he was not meaning for us to follow him that way. The outside is a huge deck with a covering and fans. There were five TVs out there as well. Most tables had ashtrays and people were smoking so if you are not wanting to smell smoke during your meal you may want to stay indoors. I will mention it was quite chilly inside with the AC set low. Service was below average. The waitress never checked on us for a drink refills until she brought the check. She was nice though. I ordered grilled shrimp, onion tangles and grilled veggies. The veggies were 90% broccoli with two thin slices of zucchini and two thin slices of yellow squash. The food was good, and there were lots of good options on the menu. I hadn't realized it was a chain restaurant. They serve Pepsi products. I don't know if it is because if they are called Froggers that they want the waitresses to wear shorts, but one of the waitresses (thankfully not ours) had such short shorts on, it looked like she wasn't wearing anything. It was very cheeky and she did not have the body to pull it off unfortunately. I don't see any need to go back with lots of other options around. read more

Been here twice for pickup order during the panic. Great packaging and food safety practices. Came back today to see how it was to eat here. First off, wasn't real busy for a gorgeous Sunday afternoon. Bartender was busy, but greeted me as I sat down. Beer was cold and I ordered food. Have to say, the Mini Chicken sliders were awesome. Great flavor, grilled to awesome! Bacon was just right. Not overdone and not under. Highly recommend giving this a visit. I know I'll come back. read more

We stopped at froggers for lunch and were quickly seated. The staff were very friendly and attentive to our needs. My wife had a grilled chicken sandwich and she thought it was great. My daughter had boneless teriyaki wings and they looked and tasted delicious. I had a cheeseburger and fries and was just a little disappointed. Not sure what was off with the burger but i had a hard time forcing it down. Next time i think I'll try the boneless wings or nachos grande. Three service was very good and the atmosphere was nice. We love Froggeds. We recently moved to the area and have eaten here several times since. The menu is amazing for picky eaters, SO many things to choose from. And everything we have had so far has been very good, as well. My only complaints is that the service can be 'just okay'. We've had very good service several times, but most of the time it's mediocre. I also would love to see a better cocktail menu, I understand they have a full bar, but it would be nice to see a few more drinks added. The restaurant can be VERY loud, but it's a sports bar so that is to be expected, but if you go on a game night, don't expect to have any conversation at all with your table.. all in all, we love froggers and will continue to visit read more

Ordered food for delivery. Absolutely awful. In the notes it stated extra crispy sauce on the side. When it came had no dipping sauce. I ordered the buffalo chicken salad. I was recently in Tavares visiting my daughter, who has a home there. On Monday evening we stopped in here for a few orders to go for dinner. The place was very loud - hard to hear anything, even ourselves giving the hostess our order. She said It would be just a few minutes - we waited over 45 minutes. But the wings were great - the cajun fries were very good as well. I think this place has good food - the trouble is the staff was overwhelmed (the hostess/waitress had to input our order twice before she got it right), and eating in is an exercise in how loud can you shout to the person sitting next to you! If you are looking for the slowest possible service imaginable, come here. Placed an order for a chicken sandwich at 6:40, they said it would be ready at 7:05 for take out. I read on the menu about Froggers having the best wings... I don't find this to be true. The flavor was good, able to perfect the wings to extra chard BUT they were so tiny!! Sauces were good! Home made ranch taste just like bottled ranch, which I didn't mind. The funnel cake fries could have had a little more to it. Looks very basic but had same flavor as a carnival funnel cake. Food has always been great, the only disappointment with the food is if you order with Uber the food never comes the way you ordered it. Now for the bar drinks (cocktails) , those are always hit and miss. Some bartenders are consistent with the drinks and some just simply do not know how to make them. I am a fan of the pollywog stew (not sure if spelled correctly) I would say 3 out of 5 times it is made correctly otherwise it taste just like pineapple juice. The liquor is crown Apple so if the pineapple taste is more overwhelming then the crown Apple obviously there is not enough liquor in it or the measurements are not correct. I will continue coming but I do hope next time the bartender will offer to remake the drink besides saying "No, the drink is made correctly." Over 70.00 for not that much ordered. We did some takeout one night as well. Just a few sides and some wings. We ended up paying close to 90.00! No drinks, just some sides and wings! Walking down into this hidden bar was beyond exciting. I had been hearing about this place from my friend, and we decided to pay it a visit when I came to Mount Dora. It was definitely an authentic English pub vibe. We sat at the bar and ordered beers and food. My black and bleu burger was juicy and delicious. It came with a side of potato salad that actually surprised me with its quality. My friends had the french onion soup and they commented that it was pretty good as well, no complaints. I also love that they have glitter popcorn ceilings, anything that sparkles is good in my book. Also for decor, they have a unique collection of neat knick knacks which I'm sure all have a little story behind them.
