Thanks for hosting our group of 12! We were seated promptly and had enough room for our group. The food was quite tasty and unique. I can't even go over everything we ordered, but some items were the burrata app, goat cheese, giant pretzel, cauliflower, pastas and steaks. My steak frites was so perfectly cooked! The truffle fries could use a little more truffle oil but I scarfed them down none the less.

The Garp & Fuss, wow this was a great experience! tucked away in a cute downtown winter Park alleyway shop Plaza, if you don't look quickly, you may miss it! Strolled in at 1 PM to this cozy little restaurant, greeted cheerfully at the door by a very nice young lady and seated immediately, approach within one minute, by our Server Brook, asked if this was our first time and if we were celebrating anything very nice touch, while not celebrating anything very excited about the food! Gathering the drink order wife went with a pineapple Mojito and myself, Arnold Palmer, and she was off, drinks arriving back within two minutes, bringing bottled water to the table and topping us off, inquiring into a starter course, went with a 348 shrimp appetizer, this arrived within eight minutes, also taking our main course order, I went with a lobster roll, and the wife went with the steak and eggs from the brunch menu, and she was off, checking back within two minutes on the quality of the appetizer which I must say was fantastic! Main courses arrived within 10 minutes, the food absolutely popping! Flavors all over the palette! Finished up with one of their carrot cakes, and that was the end of that! This was a fantastic experience. If you're ever in the Winter Park district you need to check this place out. I have spoken. Awesome!

Here's a polished and more refined version of your review: This place deserves 10 stars! Kudos to the staff--great service paired with excellent food made for an outstanding experience and a very happy customer. The food was incredible. The burger was a standout--rich, flavorful, and truly satisfying. The ambiance adds to the charm, with a speakeasy-style, hidden feel that makes it unique. There's also a cozy hangout area with window seating, a pool table, and a bar, which gives the space a fun and relaxed vibe. Overall, very well done! Almost forgot ! ..... When you go is a MUST have bread pudding with ice cream - DO NOT walk out of there without trying this

This tucked away spot in Winter Park has some great food. I love showing up for happy hour, they have a nice selection to enjoy. Food and drinks typically come out quick. It does tend to get crowded around this time though so be aware of that and be patient when needed. All in all great spot. They have bar seating, indoor tables, and an "almost outside" area that's covered so you can enjoy rain or shine. Can be tricky to find since it's tucked away in an alley but that's one of the things I like about the location, gives it a bit of a in-the-know vibe!

The food is incredible here!!! The gnocchi was my favorite! The patio is stunning! If you plan to dine here try to get a table on the patio! We were lucky and got a patio table without reservations but it seems like reservations are often needed! Vibes are totally there, great for friends dinner or date night!

Excellent happy hour! The meatball dish is amazing! Tastes like it's from your nonna's kitchen! Great service at the bar. Delicious old fashioned too! Bar area is small, get there early!

Food quantity: 9/10 Food quality: 9/10 Service: 10/10 Ambience: 9/10 Overall rating: 9.5/10 The Brussels sprouts were amazingly delicious, and the chicken Parmesan came with perfectly al dente pasta and creamy burrata cheese. The restaurant is nestled in a cute back area of Winter Park, very romantic. Would come again!

We came in for dinner and had a fantastic experience! The atrium is beautiful and my favorite area to sit. Service was fantastic. The food was incredible! To drink, I got the pink Cadillac cocktail and it was delicious and pretty. For our appetizer, we got the crispy Brussels sprouts with a sweet sauce, bacon, and goat cheese. It was perfection! For my entree, I got the truffle gnocchi. The sauce was rich and the gnocchi where big and pillowy. The portions and presentation were great. This is a solid date night spot!

Oh wow! Second time and it's still a hit! I took my husband here for his first time and he absolutely loved it! I was so excited to introduce him to the place with gorgeous environment and amazing foods. I mean who says a women can't take her husband out to eat, am I right? Coming here never disappoints. It's always a joy and a blissful little get away . Now the service could have been better but it was too bad. Our waitress was super nice yet we did have to ask her back to the table several times for a few things. Other then that it was bad. But still I would go back anytime. I have to say this is my new favorite place to eat and my husband's as well. Can't wait to return. Until next time!

Special of the night - 14 oz steak with cowboy butter.

Our first time here and what a great experience. Food, service and ambiance were all great. The goat cheese fig burger is very good. The 14 oz steak was VERY good. We will return.

We've been coming to Garp & Fuss for a while now and im honestly shocked I haven't written a review, because we freakin' love this place. We always try to sit out in their beautiful atrium when we visit, but even when seated indoors, they provide a great experience every time. On our most recent visit for brunch, we enjoyed their B.E.L.T. sandwich and the Shrimp & Grits. The BAM sauce in their sandwich is my fiancée's favorite. She'd probably eat a bowl of it if allowed Staff is always friendly, attentive, and great at recommending if you're unsure of what to order. We love Garp & Fuss so much, we even took a few of our engagement photos outside! This place is great. Keep being awesome, G&F!

Winter Park's Best Kept (Delicious) Secret: Come for the Fritters, Stay for the Love! ‍ Rating: + If you haven't found Garp & Fuss yet, you're missing out on a literal treasure hunt. Tucked away in the "Hidden Garden" on North Park Ave, this place is breathtaking. It's quaint, cozy, and has this gorgeous, romantic vibe that makes you feel like you've escaped on a quiet mini-getaway, right in the heart of Winter Park. We went to celebrate my sister's birthday, and I'm pretty sure we're still glowing from the experience. The Food (aka The Main Event): The Starters: We kicked things off with the Mangia! plate--a meatball so massive and yummy it deserves its own zip code--and the Blue Crab Fritters. Oh. My. Gosh. Those fritters are "to die for." The Entrees: I had the Shrimp and Lobster Bucatini, and it was pure heaven. One of my sisters ordered the Jack'd Up Chicken Parm, which was a gargantuan, delicious piece of chicken. The Masterpiece: The birthday girl's Steak and Frites was the talk of the table. The steak was seasoned to perfection, incredibly soft, and cooked exactly to her liking. It came with Parmesan Truffle Fries that were outstanding on their own, but the Chef's "own creation" dipping sauce was out of this world!!! We would buy it by the gallon if we could. The Hospitality (The "Unimaginable" Part): Our waitress, Melissa, provided service that was absolutely impeccable. She was so friendly, accommodating, and just a joy to be around. But here is where they truly blew our minds: they brought out an unexpectedly large chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream for the birthday girl, but then they did something we've never seen before. They gave her a birthday card signed by every single waiter and the owner, along with a 15% off card for her next visit. We were genuinely surprised and so touched by the effort. Final Verdict: If you want a place that treats you like family but cooks like a five-star resort, this is it. We're already planning our return. Huge thanks to Melissa and the whole crew for making a special day unforgettable!

My girlfriends loved the carrot cake and the fourgasm (4 dessert sampler). Everything was a bit expensive, but you're paying for the expensive. My one minor complaint was that we had not been there an excessive amount of time, but as we were checking out, we were informed we needed to leave because they needed our table in 5 minutes. I did not care for that. Overall, this was a really fun experience and I'm sad we had to say goodbye.

Real good vibes. Orlando obviously has no shortage of places to eat, drink, and gather, but Alfie's belongs to that rare category of venues that feel equally at home in a major metropolis. It's the kind of spot that would fit seamlessly into Los Angeles's best neighborhoods: think Gold Line in Highland Park or the Vinyl Room at the Hollywood Palladium. Not because they're carbon copies, but because they share that intangible quality of genuine discovery and cultural curiosity. The crowd ( age range 25 - 35 mostly ) was genuinely engaged with one another. People were actually talking, actually present, not hunched over their phones. That alone felt invigorating. There was an undeniable spark in the room. Alfie's wasn't chasing trends; it was simply allowing them to emerge naturally. What impressed me most was how they brought it all together .. Retro stereo equipment and vinyl players from the 50s mixed with a bar area that's super sleek and modern. Conversations, music, the lounge itself .... all came together in a way that felt alive and IN THE MOMENT. When my LA friends visit, Alfie's is on the list. Go after 9 or 10 PM and plan to stay for at least two hours. That's when you really see the scene develop and come alive. Bring your ID: they card at the door. Even at my age, I still get carded. However, we initially entered to get a picture in the photobooth for our friends birthday. There was no one at the door checking IDs. After we all piled into the photobooth, someone walked up and asked for our IDs. He wanted us to exit the booth to get them. Eventually said ok because we had already paid and on a timer. But he was very impatient. Let me add that there was not a single person in the entire place. NO ONE. Let me also add that almost our entire group is almost 40. So we're obv not underage. With the way he approached us and was completely impatient, we were a little turned off and left. Which lost them money on our entire group. He followed us out the door as we left. It was a weird experience especially when there was literally no one else in there. The music was good but I doubt and of us will to back based on that experience alone.
