While exploring downtown Winter Park in search of brunch, we stumbled upon Garp & Fuss, a hidden treasure tucked among the charming little shops. Once you find the beautiful courtyard fountain and spot the iconic royal blue door, you know you've arrived at the right place. Although we didn't score what I consider the best seat in the house, the stunning glass atrium surrounded by gorgeous brick arches and exposed wood beams, we were seated right next to it and still got to enjoy the beautiful atmosphere. Every room feels thoughtfully designed, with unique décor and plenty of character. There's even a pool table and a cozy, more private seating area above the bar when you first walk in. The cocktails were perfectly balanced, not too strong and not too weak, just right. Our waitress was amazing and knew exactly what our energy needed. Now, I'm not usually a burger person, but trying the Fig & G.O.A.T. was a must, and it absolutely did not disappoint. It was easily the standout dish of our meal. We also ordered the Park Ave Pesto pasta. While it had good flavor, it wasn't our favorite item on the menu. Overall, Garp & Fuss delivers a wonderful dining experience with great ambiance, creative spaces, and delicious food. I would definitely return and look forward to trying more of their menu.

The Garp & Fuss, wow this was a great experience! tucked away in a cute downtown winter Park alleyway shop Plaza, if you don't look quickly, you may miss it! Strolled in at 1 PM to this cozy little restaurant, greeted cheerfully at the door by a very nice young lady and seated immediately, approach within one minute, by our Server Brook, asked if this was our first time and if we were celebrating anything very nice touch, while not celebrating anything very excited about the food! Gathering the drink order wife went with a pineapple Mojito and myself, Arnold Palmer, and she was off, drinks arriving back within two minutes, bringing bottled water to the table and topping us off, inquiring into a starter course, went with a 348 shrimp appetizer, this arrived within eight minutes, also taking our main course order, I went with a lobster roll, and the wife went with the steak and eggs from the brunch menu, and she was off, checking back within two minutes on the quality of the appetizer which I must say was fantastic! Main courses arrived within 10 minutes, the food absolutely popping! Flavors all over the palette! Finished up with one of their carrot cakes, and that was the end of that! This was a fantastic experience. If you're ever in the Winter Park district you need to check this place out. I have spoken. Awesome!

Thanks for hosting our group of 12! We were seated promptly and had enough room for our group. The food was quite tasty and unique. I can't even go over everything we ordered, but some items were the burrata app, goat cheese, giant pretzel, cauliflower, pastas and steaks. My steak frites was so perfectly cooked! The truffle fries could use a little more truffle oil but I scarfed them down none the less.

Here's a polished and more refined version of your review: This place deserves 10 stars! Kudos to the staff--great service paired with excellent food made for an outstanding experience and a very happy customer. The food was incredible. The burger was a standout--rich, flavorful, and truly satisfying. The ambiance adds to the charm, with a speakeasy-style, hidden feel that makes it unique. There's also a cozy hangout area with window seating, a pool table, and a bar, which gives the space a fun and relaxed vibe. Overall, very well done! Almost forgot ! ..... When you go is a MUST have bread pudding with ice cream - DO NOT walk out of there without trying this

I don't even know how to start with this one! About six months ago, I was on Yelp looking for a good burger spot in Winter Park and came across this cute place. Unfortunately, the group decided to go somewhere else at the time. Fast forward to now--I went back and this time I said, "we're trying this place," no questions asked... BEST decision ever The goat and fig burger was absolutely amazing--out of this world delicious I can't even fully explain it... you just have to try it!! The regular cheeseburger was also really good, according to my friends. The fries were on point, and don't even get me started on the bread pudding with vanilla ice cream--completely indescribable! Service was top-notch--our server was so patient and attentive--and the ambiance was super, duper, cute

The food is incredible here!!! The gnocchi was my favorite! The patio is stunning! If you plan to dine here try to get a table on the patio! We were lucky and got a patio table without reservations but it seems like reservations are often needed! Vibes are totally there, great for friends dinner or date night!

This tucked away spot in Winter Park has some great food. I love showing up for happy hour, they have a nice selection to enjoy. Food and drinks typically come out quick. It does tend to get crowded around this time though so be aware of that and be patient when needed. All in all great spot. They have bar seating, indoor tables, and an "almost outside" area that's covered so you can enjoy rain or shine. Can be tricky to find since it's tucked away in an alley but that's one of the things I like about the location, gives it a bit of a in-the-know vibe!

Excellent happy hour! The meatball dish is amazing! Tastes like it's from your nonna's kitchen! Great service at the bar. Delicious old fashioned too! Bar area is small, get there early!

Garp & Fuss is a quaint but busy restaurant tucked away on Park Ave. I love the solarium dining area with its romantic natural lighting and exposed brick walls. The food was high quality. Definitely recommend the truffle gnocchi - it was creamy and rich. We only waited about 5-10 minutes for a table on a Saturday night. Our server was attentive and sweet. Perfect place for date night, would go back!

We came in for dinner and had a fantastic experience! The atrium is beautiful and my favorite area to sit. Service was fantastic. The food was incredible! To drink, I got the pink Cadillac cocktail and it was delicious and pretty. For our appetizer, we got the crispy Brussels sprouts with a sweet sauce, bacon, and goat cheese. It was perfection! For my entree, I got the truffle gnocchi. The sauce was rich and the gnocchi where big and pillowy. The portions and presentation were great. This is a solid date night spot!

I've seen this place all over tik tok so decided to give it a shot. We went on a Sunday morning we were unable to get a table due it being over an hour wait we decided to just sit at the bar. The bartenders were attentive and gave suggestions and were able to keep up with everything going on and even sparked up conversations. The food here is definitely filling- I ordered the chicken sandwich with the jam I ordered it on the side due to being unsure if I'd actually enjoy it but WOW! I was impressed. We ordered a bread basket as well. I would love to come back to enjoy sitting at a table so I'd say make reservations!

Food quantity: 9/10 Food quality: 9/10 Service: 10/10 Ambience: 9/10 Overall rating: 9.5/10 The Brussels sprouts were amazingly delicious, and the chicken Parmesan came with perfectly al dente pasta and creamy burrata cheese. The restaurant is nestled in a cute back area of Winter Park, very romantic. Would come again!

They had room on the patio but we wanted the air conditioning. The June specials menu looked awesome. The monthly soup is cauliflower. I had the cucumber sandwich (the cool cuke?) and asked for it toasted. Choice of side was chips, coleslaw, potato salad, etc. I had potato salad/ it was good- a little bacon in it and perfectly seasoned. My sando came out toasted but they forgot the cucumbers! Our server brought me out sliced cucumbers so I added them myself. They were a little thick. I did not know but you can ask for pickles and they're free! They dropped off a large jar of pickles. Only two of us wanted them and they toss them if you don't finish them, so I took a few home. I only ate half my sandwich. Ir was super meaty. I recommend it! And the potato salad was a hearty scoop. I can't believe all of that was only $13 plus tax and tip. What a deal. Our food came out all together and didn't take forever. We sat. We ate. We charted. A good time was had! Checks came out promptly. Our group goes to this place often and I was pleasantly surprised that the server remembered some of the gal's usual drink order. Amazing! Great place for lunch! Sandwich was awesome. I will be back.

We also tried the mimosa double since they had a special for brunch for $5.50. I got the breakfast sandwich which came with smashed potatoes. The server was great and checked in on us several times. The food took a good amount of time to arrive, but it was decent. I had a bite of the wrap and I liked the crunch of the croutons. I felt like it could've used a smidge more dressing, but it was overall good. The sandwich was also good, but I think it could've benefitted from being on sliced and toasted bread instead of potato bun. The egg was also very well done; I prefer it a little jammy or runny. The smashed potatoes were pretty good and it came with a decent amount. The mimosa couldn't used a smudge more orange juice, but it was a double so understandable. A little loud inside, but it's an open area with dart boards and loud conversations. We didn't have to yell and we could carry a conversation well enough. Parking was a bit rough. We parked around the corner on the street.

They also were out of a few meats, which was reasonable since we came near the end of day. We substituted the turkey for the triple que which was a mix meat combo including the rib meat. The triple que was nice that it came already sauced, and it was my favorite of the meats. The brisket was a bit dry, but the tables have four sauces from which you can choose.
