We ordered a couple of drinks. Nothing really jumped out at my on the drink menu. I felt they were trying to get a little too creative with green juice and lemon grass. My sangria was fine. It has more of a cherry taste. We ordered the tuna nachos for appetizer and it was delicious. Fresh and tasty. My absolute favorite was my shrimp and lobster bucatini. I devoured the whole plate. They sat us in the upstairs area, which was cute. It definitely gave a bed and breakfast vibe. Our server was very sweet and came by for our drink orders, then food orders. I got the Starra Planina, as it was one of the most popular. It was good, but for size and overall taste, I would skip it next time. We also got the big effin pretzel. While exploring downtown Winter Park in search of brunch, we stumbled upon Garp & Fuss, a hidden treasure tucked among the charming little shops. Once you find the beautiful courtyard fountain and spot the iconic royal blue door, you know you've arrived at the right place. Although we didn't score what I consider the best seat in the house, the stunning glass atrium surrounded by gorgeous brick arches and exposed wood beams, we were seated right next to it and still got to enjoy the beautiful atmosphere. Every room feels thoughtfully designed, with unique décor and plenty of character. There's even a pool table and a cozy, more private seating area above the bar when you first walk in. The cocktails were perfectly balanced, not too strong and not too weak, just right. Our waitress was amazing and knew exactly what our energy needed. Now, I'm not usually a burger person, but trying the Fig & G.O.A.T. was a must, and it absolutely did not disappoint. It was easily the standout dish of our meal. We also ordered the Park Ave Pesto pasta. While it had good flavor, it wasn't our favorite item on the menu. My friend and I went here and sat on the second floor and it felt like we were the only ones at the restaurant. The service was spectacular despite us chatting so much that we apologized and weren't ready to order. Never did we feel rushed. Strolled in at 1 PM to this cozy little restaurant, greeted cheerfully at the door by a very nice young lady and seated immediately, approach within one minute, by our Server Brook, asked if this was our first time and if we were celebrating anything very nice touch, while not celebrating anything very excited about the food! Gathering the drink order wife went with a pineapple Mojito and myself, Arnold Palmer, and she was off, drinks arriving back within two minutes, bringing bottled water to the table and topping us off, inquiring into a starter course, went with a 348 shrimp appetizer, this arrived within eight minutes, also taking our main course order, I went with a lobster roll, and the wife went with the steak and eggs from the brunch menu, and she was off, checking back within two minutes on the quality of the appetizer which I must say was fantastic! Main courses arrived within 10 minutes, the food absolutely popping! Flavors all over the palette! Finished up with one of their carrot cakes, and that was the end of that! This tucked away spot in Winter Park has some great food. I love showing up for happy hour, they have a nice selection to enjoy. Food and drinks typically come out quick. It does tend to get crowded around this time though so be aware of that and be patient when needed. All in all great spot. They have bar seating, indoor tables, and an "almost outside" area that's covered so you can enjoy rain or shine. Oh wow! Second time and it's still a hit! I took my husband here for his first time and he absolutely loved it! I was so excited to introduce him to the place with gorgeous environment and amazing foods. I mean who says a women can't take her husband out to eat, am I right? Coming here never disappoints. We've been coming to Garp & Fuss for a while now and im honestly shocked I haven't written a review, because we freakin' love this place. We always try to sit out in their beautiful atrium when we visit, but even when seated indoors, they provide a great experience every time. On our most recent visit for brunch, we enjoyed their B.E.L.T. sandwich and the Shrimp & Grits. The BAM sauce in their sandwich is my fiancée's favorite. She'd probably eat a bowl of it if allowed Staff is always friendly, attentive, and great at recommending if you're unsure of what to order. I've seen this place all over tik tok so decided to give it a shot. We went on a Sunday morning we were unable to get a table due it being over an hour wait we decided to just sit at the bar. The bartenders were attentive and gave suggestions and were able to keep up with everything going on and even sparked up conversations. This was my first time in Garp and Fuss and it was a cute little hidden restaurant in Winter Park with a nice, cozy setting to it, it is however a bit small inside. So if you like more room space this might not be the place for you. I would say though the food was amazing, the wings were tender and not dry at all, the drizzle of the garlic parm was a perfect amount not too much and not too little. The burger was fulfilling and flavorful it had an onion ring in it which for me it elevated the burger. Bring wipes with you cause you will get messy when you eat this burger :). read more

Atmospherically, the star of Park Avenue establishments! It's just so pretty in the atrium area and peacefully tucked away. It's pretty easy to find with the large signage on Park. The service is accommodating and very friendly! Our server checked in and shared recommendations which we were happy to act on. We shared a buffalo cauliflower appetizer which was crispy, slightly spicy, and overall yum! Then we had the lobster bucatini and pesto chicken pasta. Both dishes were lovely and well balanced in flavors. The seafood was especially fresh and generous. My only minor suggestion would be for some more imagination on the menu. Most of the options are rather basic and easily obtained elsewhere. Would be cool to see a few signature dishes that stand out from the nearby eateries on park. Cute spot tucked into the Hidden Garden area on Park Ave, but it's still easy to find if you look for the signs. Lots of seating inside, outside, and upstairs. There's a bar inside and a pool table. The bar can get a little crowded and loud, and there are only 2 single restrooms for the entire restaurant. All of our food was delicious! It can be hard to get a truly rare steak, but Garp & Fuss understood the assignment. The French onion soup was full of flavor and super cheesy. Our service was quick, attentive, and friendly. I went for lunch this time and got the pesto chicken sandwich with truffle fries, but the truffle was a lacking. I requested a side of aioli for the truffle fries (because ketchup does not work) and was charged extra for the aioli -- kinda lame. But overall, our service was good! Finally got to try this restaurant! It's been on my list for a long time but every time I remember, they're closed. I went for Valentine's Day. Walked up and was quoted 30 minutes to wait. Which was fine. I ended up waiting an hour before I finally decided to check how much longer. They then sat me immediately, thankfully! My server was really sweet! Food was amazing! I got the strawberry salad from their Valentine's Day menu. It was good; however, it wasn't balanced. There was a lottttt of lettuce, 5-6 quarter slivers of strawberry, a couple pieces of walnut and a couple pieces of feta. Unfortunately, it could have been dressed slightly better. But the taste of it was really good! I also got the truffle gnocchi and OMG!!!! The flavors of this dish were absolutely amazing!! This dish was so good! Lastly, I got the lemon olive oil cake from their Valentine's Day menu and again, so delicious. I would give the food a 9.5/10 (only bc there wasn't enough toppings on the salad vs amount of lettuce!). The drink I got was another Valentine's Day special. It was an espresso martini with a mascarpone rim. The rim was weird and didn't look esthetic at all but the espresso martini was amazing itself!! We had the best service at Garp & Fuss! The food was great as well. We went there before a show at the arena and of course we were running late. Our server I am sad to say we didn't catch her name was extremely accommodating. We had the smoked fish dip, the chai cocktail and Cabernet wine to start. Then for our meals my husband had the mushroom gnocchi and I had wedge salad with the hangar steak. We enjoyed everything! We sat "outside" on the covered patio but even at 530p on August it was still very hot. Our server made sure we had plenty of cold water. Despite the heat we enjoyed our corner table by the window. Went for a birthday brunch on a Sunday. It's a bit hard to find and I was lucky someone gave me specific instructions. Once inside, it's a very nice restaurant with a cute sun room. We had drinks, apps and entrees. I'm not sure if anyone loved their entrees but the apps were really good and so were the drinks. The crab and corn fritters was my favorite. A few of us had burgers and we all agreed that they lacked flavor. They were very bland. My friend had the fuss chicken sandwich and I tasted it and I liked it more than my burger. Another friend had the steak and eggs and she ordered her steak medium. It came well done. Hopefully it was just a kitchen mix up. She didn't want to say anything and she ate the well done steak.
