I was disappointed with my experience regarding the soft drink charges at this restaurant. I ordered Coke and was charged full price four separate times, but at no point was I informed that refills were not included. To make matters more frustrating, the drinks were not even served in the original cans or bottles--they were poured into small water cups. Had I been told upfront that each refill would be charged as a new drink, I could have made an informed decision. Transparency is important, especially when customers are being charged multiple times for the same beverage. I hope management considers clearly communicating their refill policy to avoid similar misunderstandings in the future. In addition, there was a mix-up with our starter. We were served tuna poke nachos instead of the spinach and artichoke dip we ordered from the starter menu. While exploring downtown Winter Park in search of brunch, we stumbled upon Garp & Fuss, a hidden treasure tucked among the charming little shops. Once you find the beautiful courtyard fountain and spot the iconic royal blue door, you know you've arrived at the right place. Although we didn't score what I consider the best seat in the house, the stunning glass atrium surrounded by gorgeous brick arches and exposed wood beams, we were seated right next to it and still got to enjoy the beautiful atmosphere. Every room feels thoughtfully designed, with unique décor and plenty of character. There's even a pool table and a cozy, more private seating area above the bar when you first walk in. The cocktails were perfectly balanced, not too strong and not too weak, just right. Our waitress was amazing and knew exactly what our energy needed. Now, I'm not usually a burger person, but trying the Fig & G.O.A.T. was a must, and it absolutely did not disappoint. It was easily the standout dish of our meal. This was my first time in Garp and Fuss and it was a cute little hidden restaurant in Winter Park with a nice, cozy setting to it, it is however a bit small inside. So if you like more room space this might not be the place for you. We've been coming to Garp & Fuss for a while now and im honestly shocked I haven't written a review, because we freakin' love this place. We always try to sit out in their beautiful atrium when we visit, but even when seated indoors, they provide a great experience every time. On our most recent visit for brunch, we enjoyed their B.E.L.T. sandwich and the Shrimp & Grits. The BAM sauce in their sandwich is my fiancée's favorite. She'd probably eat a bowl of it if allowed Staff is always friendly, attentive, and great at recommending if you're unsure of what to order. The service is accommodating and very friendly! Our server checked in and shared recommendations which we were happy to act on. We shared a buffalo cauliflower appetizer which was crispy, slightly spicy, and overall yum! Then we had the lobster bucatini and pesto chicken pasta. Both dishes were lovely and well balanced in flavors. The seafood was especially fresh and generous. My only minor suggestion would be for some more imagination on the menu. Most of the options are rather basic and easily obtained elsewhere. Would be cool to see a few signature dishes that stand out from the nearby eateries on park. Finally got to try this restaurant! It's been on my list for a long time but every time I remember, they're closed. I went for Valentine's Day. Walked up and was quoted 30 minutes to wait. Which was fine. I ended up waiting an hour before I finally decided to check how much longer. They then sat me immediately, thankfully! My server was really sweet! Food was amazing! I got the strawberry salad from their Valentine's Day menu. It was good; however, it wasn't balanced. There was a lottttt of lettuce, 5-6 quarter slivers of strawberry, a couple pieces of walnut and a couple pieces of feta. Unfortunately, it could have been dressed slightly better. But the taste of it was really good! I also got the truffle gnocchi and OMG!!!! The flavors of this dish were absolutely amazing!! This dish was so good! Lastly, I got the lemon olive oil cake from their Valentine's Day menu and again, so delicious. I would give the food a 9.5/10 (only bc there wasn't enough toppings on the salad vs amount of lettuce!). The drink I got was another Valentine's Day special. Our server I am sad to say we didn't catch her name was extremely accommodating. We had the smoked fish dip, the chai cocktail and Cabernet wine to start. Then for our meals my husband had the mushroom gnocchi and I had wedge salad with the hangar steak. We enjoyed everything! We had drinks, apps and entrees. I'm not sure if anyone loved their entrees but the apps were really good and so were the drinks. The crab and corn fritters was my favorite. A few of us had burgers and we all agreed that they lacked flavor. They were very bland. My friend had the fuss chicken sandwich and I tasted it and I liked it more than my burger.
