The DJ was spinning Lustt's "Pillow Talk" in the background, and loud conversations can be heard from all directions. The smells were amazing including skewers and freshly made papaya salad as well as sweets. I ordered a stick of grape tanghulu from one of the vendors which happened to be a kid and their grandmother. Other stalls included artwork, cute plushies, and other knickknacks. Some of the B&M shops along the alley were also opened during this hour. Around 7pm it was pretty lively, though after heading to another location and coming back around 10pm, the market does quiet down a fair bit. That said it's worth coming by for great Thai cuisine.

It does not match the thrill of seeing things firsthand, but definitely saves time. We did not go super early in the morning when they probably had the best stuff because neither of us were looking for anything specific. Just wanted to check it out. There is definitely a large amount of vintage clothes, furniture, housewares, and other collectibles. There are a couple of plant stalls, although we only checked out one. It is awesome. That real bathrooms are available as opposed to ports potties. There is a small food court and a couple of food and drinks stands throughout although the selection isn't super gourmet. I believe the coffee was well over $10 a cup and that is for iced coffee, not cold brew. I don't think there were any espresso drinks. It can get quite hot walking around in the parking lot so I would suggest dressing accordingly. I noticed several people brought little carts to carry their purchases. The parking is free, but there is a lot of walking so you would have to carry your purchases a long way if you do not have a cart.

Because, this is a very-very small farmers market. This is not a criticism. This is just a fact. When you come to this farmers market, there's only a few sellers offering fresh produce. This being stated, however, these sellers do offer some very good vegetables and/or fruit items. But, you just have to keep in mind, your selection is going to be very limited when you come here. Other than some vegetables and/or fruit, you will find various sellers offering various other items at different points throughout the year. The sellers at this farmers market change frequently. So, you probably shouldn't expect to go one time, come back to the next, and expect that same seller to be there. They may be there or they may not. In terms of location, this farmers market is located in the shopping plaza just across from the central area of the Little Tokyo shopping and dining area. So, it's very easy to find. It's right off the 2nd Street. This farmers market certainly serves its purpose, but you just have to keep in mind that what's offered here is not defined by large quantities or a large selection. Nonetheless, you may find exactly what you're looking for.

Food Access LA assists JACCC in hosting the weekly local flavor with food stands, artisans and makers with handcrafted goods, many sharing Japanese culture along the way. Because of this pairing, the market accepts CalFresh EBT and SUN Bucks. CalFresh-EBT and SUN Bucks benefits are eligible to purchase of $10 fresh fruits and vegetables and $10 for the purchase of any food item at the market which is amazing! They are working on getting WIC and the Senior Farmers' Market Nutrition Program accepted in the future, as well. This makes my heart so happy that this farmers market is truly making a difference for people. The market itself was just the right size for me - not too big, not too small! It's not the biggest Farmer's Market, but you'll find a decent amount of quality vendors, selling a variety of food, flowers, honey, produce and bread and bakery items. We stopped by around 11:30am and it wasn't too crowded. We tried Green Bites whose menu included Rice Wraps, Onigiri, and Japanese Curry. You can get one onigiri for $6 or 2 for $10. We also tried the Pupusas at Delmy's Pupusas, most varieties selling for $5 each. We always make sure we stop by Sour Suzie for Sourdough bread, which is situated about a block outside the Farmer's Market. All the vendors were friendly and we noticed after visiting a couple of times that you may see a new vendor or two. Looking forward to trying more!

Plenty of booths to discover and plenty of food trucks to offer. There's music in the back corner. Lots of great artistic stuff to browse through. Don't mistake this for a swap meet because you can get everything brand new. Nothing second hand here. It's also dog friendly as long as you have your friend on a leash. Hopefully not jumping all over everyone and that also means your significant other. I got a sample of strawberry jam from this one booth that was selling dried goods. Was really good and wished I could have put that on a bagel or something. I spoke with the guy at the leather goods booth about phone cases. Great stitch work and great selections for leather. This is going to be first Saturday of each month so it's good to check it out if you don't have anything to do on a Saturday. Enjoy the music at the market with a few snacks in hand.

Some weeks there are more merchants than others. It's located near the metro station, which is convenient if you don't live in the area but want to check it out. There's also metered parking nearby. It's located on a parking lot near what I think is the downtown Burbank area. Despite the small footprint, it still has what you need with some produce vendors and other vendors of various goods. Including prepared foods. Also, to be fair, it was crazy windy that day and it was only my first time coming. So it's possible that there's more vendors usually. The wind actually ruined some vendor's tent that particular day so it could've caused a few others to close down early. A couple of friends in mind stopped by to grab a few things for a little bit together later that day. Luckily, it was a quick in and out and we found some really good parking.
