Absolute worst. Constant delays and they offer nothing to compensate. If they cancel your flight no vouchers for hotel. Only airline that doesn't. Website is not accurate with arrivals and departures. Missed my flight because they said delay and then there was none. Sitting in airport waiting again with others that have been delayed. I said I would never fly frontier airlines again and I stay true to this word. This is a family review. They closed the gate five minutes before the closing time. Not departure time. They took standby passengers (employees and whoever..) before they took people who PURCHASED a ticket standing in line My family sat there for 30 minutes just for them to close the door and say sorry the flight is full. This Airlines needs to be SUED!!! A class action lawsuit & then small claims. DO. NOT. FLY. FRONTIER. Look at their stock also !!!! It's in the dirt, that's for a reason. This garbage airline doesn't deserve one star, but it was required to post a review. After all the add-on charges, for bags, food, etc... I should have gone with a REAL AIRLINE!!!! And I called "Frontier Airlines Reservations" (it was actually a third party called Travel Unravel) to check the status of my flight out of FLL, I was told the flight was cancelled and if I wanted to fly to PHX it would cost an additional $400 for a different day. The original flight WAS NOT cancelled so they sold me tickets under fraudulent circumstances, which I am disputing with my credit card company. When you call reservations they tell you to call their refund team which is only available as online chat, if you don't want online chat, they disconnect the call. The seats are more uncomfortable than park benches, the staff is rude and the overall service is horrible. NEVER use this airline. What an expensive nightmare. What a sh!t airline. read more

They are cheap . . .but Awful - canceled my flight last min, which granted isn't a surprise for any airline, but then didn't offer me any option except to take a alternate flight 2 days later. I was in Florida so offered to go to any other airport . . .nothing. To make matter worse, no one answered the phone (on hold for 3 hours and cut off multiple times) and the website wasn't working. Ended up rebooking a last min ticket with a different airline and eating to cost. Never Again read more

Frontier is a low budget airline flying from Palm Beach International to a handful of locations. Frontier flies direct to Trenton-Mercer Airport in NJ, so that's why I fly it occasionally. I'm bummed they stopped flying from Fort Lauderdale. I've had great experiences with Frontier (like today when all goes smoothly and on-time), and horrible experiences (like my previous 3 trips). Like 8 hour delays because the plane is broken and they don't have other planes. And miscommunications to passengers where they post a 3 hour delay on their website and send a text to passengers, only to give 1 hour notice that the plane is actually on time. Oops, our bad. We forgot to correct our prior notification. And having no luggage because now you're running to catch the flight, praying they'll re-open the doors (they did), and knowing you don't have a second to spare to bring a bag. So, sometimes you get what you pay for with Frontier. My latest ticket was purchased the day before the flight and only cost $168 roundtrip with taxes and $30 for a checked bag (that I didn't actually check). Pretty darn cheap. Know that you pay extra for everything. There is a base ticket price, usually for a middle seat toward the back of the plane. Then you pay more for a carry-on or checked bag. Then you can pay more for a better seat (window, front of plane, more leg room, seat that reclines). On board, you can get 2 cups of water for free, and pay for anything else. My bottle of water was $2.99. I've always had a good experience with Frontier employees. Gate attendants have been friendly, and onboard crews have been funny, friendly and efficient. read more

I can't believe the terrible service we received from Frontier Airlines. Started with us arriving at West Palm Beach Airport today around 11 am with no one manning the Frontier check-in booth. Waited 35 minutes until someone got there. They were the only airline without a person or a self service kiosk. While waiting for the flight we received a notice that the flight was cancelled. The next available flight was Friday, 4 days later. The customer service was completely unhelpful. The flight status boards continued to show the flight as on time. The board at the gate did the same with no one working there. Many customers were sitting there waiting for the flight not knowing it had been cancelled. We were forced to book a replacement flight on another airline tomorrow, for 4 times the original cost and we booked a hotel for another $80. We called Frontier again to see what they could do and we received no help because they were blaming the weather. NO OTHER AIRLINE HAD CANCELLED.. They cancelled 2 1/2 hours before the flight was scheduled to leave. Seems very fishy to me. The weather is supposed to continue to get worse due to the storm. It's my belief that Frontier is being irresponsible by stranding their passengers ahead of an incoming storm when the rest of the airlines are still flying out. read more

If I can rate negative I would. This is supposed to be inexpensive and convenient. My experience has been completely opposite. You must pay for a carry on bag. My flight was changed and then delayed twice due to maintenance. In addition their customer service call center is less than helpful. Never book frontier, it's not what you are looking for in regards to a great experience. read more

First and last time flying them. Our luggage was mishandled and, even though it was 120 miles away, after over 36 hours I come to find out they sent it to Denver- 1700 miles away. We planned a long weekend for spring training and still no luggage. I doubt I'll ever see it again. Customer service is terrible- obviously a call center with no actual authority to do anything - every time I called, they had to call the terminals where my baggage was and leave a message, which I HAD JUST DONE! All platitudes about how sorry they were for the inconvenience but zero communication or results. Last summer southwest lost a bag of ours and they informed us every step of the way and we had the lost bag by that night. This experience with frontier was the exact opposite. Never again. Thanks for ruining my kids special Xmas present trip, Frontier. read more

Abosultly disgusting company! I had a $300 credit in March and do the pandemic I couldn't fly. When I tried to book a flight in July they said I no longer had the credit and they stole my hard earned money! I waited on hold for 3 hours and never spoke to a supervisor that the horrible customer service representative told me I would! This airline should be out of business for theft and fraud! To steal people's money during a pandemic is so unethical and Frontier Airlines should not be allowed to operate! read more

Extremely upset with the poor customer service at Frontier Airlines. We purchased our ticket through a site called justfly.com which stated that our carryon bags were included in the flight price. Our receipt also stated carry-one were included. We got to the front desk and they said that's not the case, a proceeded to make us pay the additional fee for our two bags. They would not waive the fee, even after making a call to someone in management who we hoped would do the right thing. It's not right to mislead customers. If you allow a third party to sell your tickets, it should be the airlines responsibility to make sure the information they are giving out is correct. We packed accordingly expecting that our bags were included. Their prices are a scam and their customer service could care less about the customer. We will not be flying frontier airlines ever again. read more

Frontier airlines is a low budget airline that acts like one. They delayed our 7:30pm flight for 5.5 hours and then at 1am they announced the flight was cancelled and we had to fend for ourselves and find a hotel. They started to hand out $150 hotel vouchers that wouldn't cover the cost and then ran out of the handouts! Their customer service people are indifferent as well as incompetent. Really quiet the combination. Barry Biffle the president is removed and has his lackeys respond with inaccurate information and lies. They tried to pretend they offered actual hotels. Total crap. From other passengers I've spoken to flight cancellations after long delays seem to be common practice for Barry and his crew. Poor form. Oh and btw not only did we have to scramble to find a hotel at 1 o'clock in the morning, we had to pay up front for it and now we have to wait 4 to 6 weeks for a reimbursement. Barry sucks and so does his airline. If you feel the need to fly in rigid seats and risk a DVT for a cheaper price, do yourself a favor and book earlier in the day to up your odds of not being cancelled. read more

Don't fall for the credit card from Barclays, if the Frontier employees tell you they are waving the annual fee!!! The Frontier Stewart lied to my plane passengers. I signed up for it and got a bill for $79.00 annual fee. I called the bank and the supervisor at Frontier and they both said they never wave the fee. I haven't had a bad experience with the plane.
