The service has always been very slow. Much slower than the service I dropped to sign up with Frontier. But it gets worse! The service cuts out/drops/crashes about 7 times every 15 minutes. I am NOT exaggerating. It is horrible. This is my first negative review on yelp! read more

Horrible company. Sales rep was a liar; promised a gift card, never came through. Their internet was really slow, slower than old dial up. After two months, I had enough with this lousy dirt bag of a company, so I called to cancel. I was set to end service by end of month since it was middle month when I called to cancel. Then they stopped my TV service right after I called and disrupted the internet a few times for days. To add insult to injury, they charged me $9.99 for cancelling. Fucking lousy shameless company. Wish this crappy company goes belly up soon. read more

I have been without internet service for 5 days. I am being told the repair requires parts they don't have. Meanwhile I paid in advance for the service I am not getting. Frontier is not a company I would recommend. read more

Don't get frontier they tell u u are getting your 200 dollar gift card and then they fuck you over and say they forgot and u have to wait 90 days more hope rhey have a fucked up holiday and a bad new year read more

Frontier is terrible. Had ATT and they sold the business to Frontier. AT&T was overcharging me and I had to call every month and they would fix it for the month and not permanently. They sold the business to Frontier and frontier bills me for the wrong amount. I have called them and sent them letters and they do not do anything. I sent the balance of the payment for the period on the account and will be leaving them once the one year period expires. I would never use them or recommend them to anyone-even my worst enemy. read more

This is a shitty business. It's like the DMV for phone and Internet. This is utter crap. If you are considering switching to frontier don't. I've called them once a month for 3 hours for 6 months. Get your shit together frontier, it's sad that you got my business instead of Verizon read more

All my friends warned me, and they were right. My 2 year experiment with Frontier is happily coming to an end April 18, 2017. That's the fastest Optimum could schedule me and I am thankful. Frontier is really good as saying sorry but the WORST at execution, customer service, and billing properly. To be a customer means an exercise in getting the runaround and your time wasted. Consider yourself warned. read more

This company is absolutely awful!! We wasted 4 hours waiting for the tech to come and start up service... only to have customer service call to reschedule in the last 10 min of the 4 hour block... the tech - who NEVER SHOWED OR CALLED- LIED and told dispatch we were not home... so now we have to waste another 4 hours to wait for tech to come...I'd rather spend the extra money and stay with my current provider... at least they showed up... and the techs did LIE... unreal... this company gets -5 stars read more

I admit I have had a few issues at the start of me signing up with their services, but as soon as I call they come to fix it immediately. They give you everything you need including options for faster internet and if you would like it to be wired you may ask for that too. I received my $400 Amazon Gift card in the email as they said as soon as I made my first payment. All in all Im quite happy that I made the switch from Optimums overpriced services. Oh and they also gave me a multi room DVR! read more

I spoke to someone in sales regarding pricing, plans, etc. for a bundle and was hung up because I wanted an email with the information just given to me so that I could speak with my husband about it but the only way the sales lady could release this information was if I gave her my social security number. I wasn't comfortable giving it out and she hung up on me..... terrible customer service!! They will never again be considered for our service. They don't even deserve one star! read more

Don't go with Frontier!!! I have been with them for a grueling 14 months and it has been nothing but horrendous! My bill every month has come incorrect - charging me for services that I don't even need or asked for like HD fee, virus protection, and channels they said they would give me for free for a few months. Just got off the phone after 2 hours to cancel my service and the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing at that company. I was promised an international channel, and when I called to set it up they said I didn't even get it in my area. The sales and customer service departments are so hard to get a hold of and they don't even know how to read the bills. Last month my service got turned off for a few days because they were working on the wiring on our street and they didn't even send me an email to advise me, and no credit has been given yet. I can't say enough bad things about this company! I saw on the news that Paul Quick - Senior VP of CT - was taking email complaints from people so he can fix problems personally - that's a joke! I emailed him and never got a response, not even saying he received my email and is looking into it. Save your time and money and don't go with this company!!! read more

She said call 611 on your phone, we cannot help you. I called and stood in the corner talking to customer service for 20 minutes with a very polite Verizon guy on the phone. I told him about my experience with the salesperson, he said give me her name, I walked over and asked her for her name, she said "why", I said "to report you to Verizon", she said "I told you to call 611, I don't have to give you my name", and turned away. Last thing I saw was her supersize caboose careening away. Yeah, I'm changing carriers.

I called to end my service with Frontier communications the 1st of Jan 2023 as I had sold my house and was closing on the 13th and moving. I asked what was needed and they said a closing bill would be sent out. I informed them that I would not be at the current address and gave them the new address. I NEVER received a final bill from them. Today almost 2 yr later a collection hits my credit for $53 from Frontier communications via a collection company called Eastern Account System. I called Frontier to find out what was going on with this collection on my report and they said I had an open bill for $53 from Jan 2023. I informed them I have never received the bill. I told them I am in the process of closing on a new property and that collect for $53 just dropped my score over 50 points and is risking me closing on this new house. They said all I can do it call the collection agency and pay the bill. I said fine that easy. I called the collection agency and said I just need to get this resolved asap. I paid the silly $53 and I asked when will this be removed from my report. Oh They are sorry they do not remove them from the report. I am LIVID! Over a stupid $53 bill I never received I may lose this new house I have been working on for 2 months. What kind of customer service is this? After over 5 yrs of service they are going to cost my a home p[purchase over $53. read more

Frontier Communications' Customer/Tech Service=Merry-Go-Round Broke Down: 5 Days without Internet & Cable 12 tech reps spoken to 2 per day 11 reps failed 11 reps spoke broken English 4 reps had me go through the same steps 4 reps promised to call back & didn't 4 disconnected the line 3 reps couldn't find my account 1 rep named Thomas from Texas only one to get anything right-Just to dispatch a tech to our home. No reps could explain what the actual problem really is except that the 'migration' is taking longer than expected. Spent $10 to increase my cell data plan because I'm at my limit due to no home internet. Spending time now looking for alternatives to Frontier Communications. Their Merry-go-round broke down. We have had no problem with the internet / phone service. When it's down, they fix it. The Refer a Friend program is awful. We referred a family member and the process was so complicated that after numerous attempts stating that our referral was declined and misinformation from numerous Frontier reps from the beginning and ongoing, in the end our family member signed up based on our referral and we never received anything. Even though we began the process before the family member's service was installed, we were told that because we didn't follow the process, it was too late. The process is too complicated and Frontier had nobody to direct us with the correct information. Felt like Bait and Switch. read more

We had Frontier internet and cable services installed at our house and less than 24 hours later the entire system shut down. After calling we were told that the modem they had just installed was no good and would need to be replaced. The problem? It would take them days to get back to the house. We cancelled our service that very day and went back to Comcast. That month we received a bill from Frontier for $405.96 - for less than 24 hours' worth of service. After more than an hour on the phone and being disconnected twice we were able to get the bill reduced by only $77. STRONGLY recommend that you not switch to Frontier for any reason. read more

I am sick & tired of all the mobile phone companies strong-arming communities into accepting updated (more electromagnetic frequencies to give headaches, pediatric learning disabilities, brain tumors & more) equipment. I know it's legal, but I'll ask my next state leaders to revise those laws. Rise up, people! Show your power! Frontier has been the works service. I asked if there was installation fee and they said no if I signed a 2yrs. contract. I did and my first business bill was almost $180. (only for phone and internet) .... I called and they said installation for one is free but not for the other service. urg!!!! Too bad they do business like this. read more
