Never, ever again! I called to cancel today because I am moving and they do not provide service at my new address. First I tried cancelling online through the chat but was told I had to call. It took over 20 minutes for a rep to answer and towards the end of the call, he indicated there would be a $50 restocking fee. Nowhere did it ever list a restocking fee when I signed up. When I moved here from my previous address, I was able to cancel Spectrum easily without any issues at all. I used to hate Spectrum but compared to Frontier, they are friggin angels. read more

I went from wanting to go to Frontier, to never wanting that company in this home. I requested internet service and got a fair price. Installation was going to be in one week during an appointment on Friday. On Tuesday of the week, a guy stopped by to get into the backyard and run cable. On Wednesday, at 6:30am, another installer knocked and began digging a ditch for the line. Wasn't even nice about it. On Thursday, yet another unexpected visit from dig alert, but Frontier had already dug a shallow trench. So, he left. On Friday, the day of install, nobody showed up. Nobody called. So, I stayed with my current internet provider. A week later I got a voicemail that they were ready to install. They had zero respect for my time, just dropping in to work without notice. And, they stood me up for the appointment. I wondered if I should reconsider Frontier. UNTIL, once again, Frontier knocks on my door. They literally knocked on the "No Soliciting" sign. I cancelled the turn on service the very next day of getting them to wire. now they are trying to charge me $229 on service never turned on and me calling to cancel twice and verified that they did cancel. Signed up for Frontier fiber optic internet. They were to connect service on 5/31/25 now show, spoke through the chat on their app and rescheduled for 6/7/25. They buried the line on 6/4/25. Again no show. I spent a total of 8 hours waiting for NOTHING! Lost &560.00 in pay waiting for Frontier ! Then in a conversation with a representative on the phone said my original quote would increase after 30 days! All I could say at this point cancel service! Stayed with Spectrum! I haven't ever tried to hard to give a company my money and have them mess it up every step of the way. I haven't even paid them a dime yet as they have yet to setup my internet. It's been months and 5 attempts of having a technician come out only for them to give me one excuse or another of why it can't be installed. In short, the company Frontier contracts to install their services absolutely sucks. They don't want to climb a pole to install fiber. They gave me 5 different excuses. They all seem pretty lazy and they always show up in their personal vehicles that are 20+ years old. Doesn't inspire much confidence. Most of them wanted to tell me where I needed this installed on my home. For context there was an old fiber line running to my basement but it had no signal. Every tech was so hyper focused on using that. They put up a fight when I told them that's not where I wanted my internet coming in. Besides the fact I don't want holes drilled in my basement where water damage has previously been an issue, I DONT WANT IT THERE, which should have been reason enough. I told the 4th guy to just leave because he refused to install it the way I requested. It's not like I was asking for something outlandish either. The side of the house I wanted the line run was the same side of my house that faced the pole the fiber would come from. For context, spectrum had ALREADY installed my internet this way so it's not something that is an unreasonable request. In fact Spectrum did it on their own when I told them where I wanted my line coming into my home. read more

DOWNED CABLE: Customer Service is INCOMPETENT (if you can actually speak to a person). There was a downed cable in my back yard and I called to report it. After 4 phone calls and no less than 35 minutes with their automated service, I finally spoke to a person. Finally, excitedly, I was going to get help as she went off-line to find the correct number for me to call. She gave me the following number, (801) 401-9000. I said thank you and immediately dialed the number. That number is the main number to FRONTIER AIRLINES. Total incompetence!! read more

Only giving three stars because they're significantly better than spectrum! But if I had not had worse service I'd give them a two! Our internet has gone down multiple times in the last few months sometimes for multiple days and when you ask for an estimated time it stays the same from the first minute all the way to hours past it... I have been happy with the speed when it's up but the downtime is disturbing, I don't pay monthly to have days I can't use it. I am a business owner and I manage everything online from home, days of no internet is annoying and they should be reimbursing more than just that day off the bill. read more

For one service call request, I have spoken to five people, spent more than two hours on the phone, and had two technicians come to my house. Very poor customer service. But the most unbelievable moment in the whole (still unresolved) process is that, while talking to the third person on my third call, she started to launch into a sales pitch for an upgrade. This company is the absolute worst and I truly can't believe how they stay on business. We had to use them because they are in our development. That said the development fired them and is install new cable with a new company. That says something right there. Frontier made 5 appointments with us and just never showed up. Worst service for a utility company that I've ever encountered in my 61 years on this planet. Our internet has been out for days, and their response is "Don't call us, we'll call you." yet they provide no update for repair or service availability (except for the two promised service reinstatement deadlines which have come and gone without apology or explanation. Sold our house in April and closed our internet since they could not transfer our services to our new house in a new state. So it is now 2 months later and they want us to pay $50.00 for early termination fee. They were demanding and threatening. So we told them to send us a bill. Whatever anyone does DONT do business with them IF u owe them money their call center will call u wee hours of the day and night to retrieve their money. Tried 3 times across 2 weeks to get set up with internet installation, each time Frontier canceled without notice, missed work each time, and had to call them multiple times to figure out what was happening. After the 3rd no show without notice we decided to go to Spectrum and had our internet set up within the hour. Not only that but once we switched to Spectrum we received 2 calls from Frontier trying to win us back.. I don't understand these business practices at all. We were lied to multiple times and received no consideration until we went with another company. I don't recommend Frontier at all, their customer service and overall business practices are terrible. read more

Totally dysfunctional company. Tried 9 times to have the cable line buried in the backyard and every time they continued to send people or crews incapable of doing the job, even after senior mangers and cancellation team members assured me the next time they would get it right. After 9 attempts and over 100 hours of my valuable time playing middle man trying to connect the dots within this dysfunctional company, I am done. HORRIBLE!!!! Called to update service due to way too expensive. End result was more for less that sounds wonderful ...SOUNDS is key word!! Was told I needed new modem to handle upgraded wifi, so set appointment for 1 to 5pm a few days later. No one showed so I called and no person to speak with so via an automated service I had to reschedule for 2 days later (a Friday) between 1 and 5pm. You guessed it ...NO SHOW AGAIN!! Spoke with ANOTHER person that said they do not send out technician for modem but instead ship it for self installation. Frustrating beyond belief!!!! Terrible company. The door salesman got my wife to sign up. Later I discovered that we can't transfer our email over from Spectrum to Frontier. We tried to call the sales rep. and his voice message said unable to leave message as it was full! We texted him to cancel and he sent back confirmation in text the next day. Two days later we get a phone message saying Frontier is scheduled to install their system, We tried calling and as others have said --goodluck! They spin you around like a top tranferring you all around and once you finally get to a live person they lie to you "ok we'll cancel and send you email confirmation" -- it never came! The absolute WORST customer service. It doesn't matter what their bandwidth speeds are. It doesn't matter how inexpensive the plans are. If you experience problems, it will take many MANY M A N Y HOURS on the phone to get any of their customer service reps to understand, let alone write up a service ticket for you. And then when a service tech arrives, 2-days later, that person will NOT fix your issue because the ticket will have been written up incorrectly. That is if the tech goes to the correct address and if the tech waits more than 10 seconds for you to answer the door. NOT WORTH getting this service at any cost. Have had Frontier twice and they never fail to produce; great installers, informative and seriously helpful.

Where to start. Horrible service from install to disconnect. Installers arrived 6 hours late and the people how had to dig the line arrived a day late. THen come to find out the original installer took our erro mesh hub. Could not get customer service retention dept or technical dept to be able to locate the account for 14 days. Said it was an old account from 1969. I was not even born then. SMH. No running service to date even though a ticket was created 5/6/23 but per tech dept it was noted as completed 5/6 but the app show that a technician has been requested since 5/8/23. Ridiculous from day one. Canceled today not worth my time to resolve their issues. In short DONT go with Frontier read more

Day one of installation technician was to arrive between 8am and 4pm. At 430, I receive a text saying he is on his way. 630 he has not arrived. I try to reach help and offices are closed. I finally reach a human being at 8pm they explain the technician they sent did not know how to install my plan so he just didnt come. They said they would send some monday, this wax Friday. I vonvince yhrm to make a Saturday visit. Technician does show up mid afternoon he takes more than an hour to install it. Systrm is working and he leaves. Next and everyday after there are drops and interruptionof tv and internet. I call numerous times and they try and fix it over the phone. 6 weeks later they yhink it is the router and send me a new one. That only makes things worse. I thentell them i want to cancel and after a brief conversation with tech they think there is an adapter problem. Two more days no tv no internet. Saturday morning tech comed lolks at the install says it was done wrong probably by a contracted installer. 2 minutes later everything is working fine. 6 weeks to get it installed properly read more

Worst experience ever. I cancelled my service after my bill kept increasing even though the price was supposed to be locked in for 3 years. I cancelled at the end of April. They received my equipment in early May. I was billed for May which is fair. They did my auto pay in June as well which I disputed with my bank. The bank reversed the auto pay. I was then harassed for months & I finally gave up & payed. I'm on a fixed income. They stole my grocery money. Shame on them. read more

This has got to be the most poorly run company I've ever dealt with. Their customer service is virtually non existant. The front line reps are very pleasant but they lack any ability to solve any problems. Very big on making promises, giving assurances and babbling apologetic platitudes, but nothing gets resolved... So three days of my life given to sitting and waiting for technicians who never show up and never call (though I was promised they would) and was finally told to be patient and await further instruction. So you mean to tell me your local customers haven't had internet for a week? They can't tell me when it will be fixed. Will be cancelling today and going back to Spectrum. It is now the middle of May and my fiber service cable is still lying on the ground across my property from the nearest pole in my back yard to my house. Despite promises that Frontier would send a crew to bury the fiber cable, that hasn't happened. The cable remains as a trip hazard. Clearly, as I see it, there's some serious problems at Frontier. As a communications company, they can't seem to communicate to their ground crew to bury my service cable. On the positive side, my service has been terrific with speeds close to what they advertised. read more

I was happy with service but when I decided to move to Spectrum it was like trying to leave or sell a Timeshare !!! Hard sell followed by Lies and emotional pressure. They then said without a valid password I could not cancel and told me mine was incorrect. this was over an hour phone call.Following this I called a week later to see if it had been done as I now had Spectrum. They said no they were working on it. I sent them a check for the 22 dollars cancelation fee. Since then I receive their rental bill every month. Have written to everyone at the company and no one wants to help. I am 80 and they know that but still make my life a misery. So please , please go with another provider unless you are prepared to go through this. They are only interested in your money and that is the truth. My last letter of complaint was opened, presumably read , then resealed and returned to me with another bill for hundreds of dollars. This has been going on for six months. I was fed up with spectrum as a customer for over 8 years and about 7500 dollars I was tired of their outages and no reasons given as to what the problem was just we are back up .it happens all the time for no reason so I decided enough is enough. They just installed Frontier fiber optic in my area so I decided to switch. their teams are very hard working they had to string the cable from 3 properties over to get to my home . not to mention he was on site for over 4 hours. finally we were up humming pages loading in milliseconds not waiting 10+seconds . all my devices were reconnected he used the same Ssid as my previous modem. their is a compatibility issue with my pool Pentair app gateway but the work around is to access the app remotely no big deal. then sce had 1 minute outage the next day and fried my frontier box so they came out the next day to switch. to protect your system from a power surge make sure it's plugged into a surge protector extension panel. today everything is humming can't be happier and saving 50 bucks a month for faster speed . read more

Frontier's prices and service are great. However, don't ever try to do a referral for them because it seems to never work. I tried 3 times and each time they had a different excuse. The last time they said the customer already ordered service. Except, they never did. Turns out, Frontier made a cold call to the residence 2 months earlier and said an order was put in. 2 months ago??? And still no service??? Probably because the service was never ordered. Now the people that I sent the referral to don't want to get service from Frontier because they see how badly I was treated. They are going to Spectrum which I think is a mistake. Spectrum's customer service is horrible. Again, Frontier's service is good, just don't do any referrals. read more

We had Frontier Fios Fiber Internet installed yesterday. We were a long time Spectrum customer and thought it was time to give Frontier a try. The install went perfectly, and Rafael had us converted from Spectrum and up on Frontier in about an hour. We couldn't be happier with how everything went. read more
