On May 20th I had egghead software come to my home for an estimate on cameras. Unfortunately I never heard back from them. I initially contacted the company because it's run by a veteran and my son is a veteran as well. I hate to give a negative review to a veteran owned company but I think they need to hear the truth and work out their problems. I am amending my review. He could not have been more forthcoming about this mistake, took full and complete responsibility of his employee's lack of response, and offered numerous times to rectify the situation. I wanted my ring camera reconfigured so I consulted YELP and viewed the ratings. EggHead IT looked good so I called them and spoke to David, (hard for me to understand him; talks fast.) We scheduled our first appointment for Thursday morning. He called back to reschedule for Thursday afternoon at 3 pm... 3 pm rolls around and no tech so I called David about it. He said he would see what happened and "PROBABLY" call me back. ..it's 3:15 and no call from David so I called him back. When he answered he responded, "Oh, yeh, I was about to call you." (Maybe)...The reason the tech did not show up was that he had taken ill and was on his way to the hospital. I cancelled everything and contacted another company that came right out AND charged me much less than EggHead would've. read more

These guys are awesome! Background info... I live in the desert on weekends and am always here visiting my parents. So when their computer acts up in any way, I'm generally their go-to gal. As most parents, they are both not tech-savy. Fixing their computer every weekend is also not my ideal weekend. I called them to come out to my parent's house because their computer started acting slow and was displaying pop-up's. I tried fixing it myself but wasn't able to resolve an issue with internet explorer and it was still running slow (why my rents insist on using IE as their browser? One will never know). So, after a couple of hours of searching the internet and trying to get it working, I decided to call EggHead IT. I was leery at first because they didn't have any reviews (I'm big on reviews), but I saw their response rates, so I decided to give them a shot. Glad I did! They had a technician out to my parent's house within an hour and a half. It turns out the owner, Dennis, was the technician who arrived on-site. He was amazing! He was so patient with my mom and spent a couple hours getting all the bugs removed and tuning up the computer. He tested everything with my mom, and showed her a couple tips and what not to do to avoid getting bugs on her computer. I would definitely recommend EggHead IT! Very friendly and worked diligently on our printer. After working on it for a while (our cat attacked it and did a number on it as my wife left him unattended even though I had stressed how possessed he becomes around printers), he wasnt able to fix it. We were having issues being able to remotely access our security camera system. After troubleshooting with both the maker of the camera security system company and the router company we turned to EggHead IT. We received prompt notification and the technician was timely, friendly and knowledgeable. He was able to determine the issue and was able to give us a temporary fix so we can now view the cameras remotely. We so wish we knew about EggHead when we were initially installing the system.
