Horrible service and the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. I ordered Frontier Fios internet/phone/YouTube TV. The day the technician arrived, I could tell it was the last place he wanted to be, he told me the neighborhood hub needed to be upgraded and someone from Frontier would contact me once done, they never did, I had to call them to find out if the upgrade was done, they apologized and told me I would be put on as a priority to get a technician out, a week later the technicians came out and installed the equipment, everything worked except the phone and the internet speeds were half of what I was supposed to get, I called support, which was a monumental feat in of itself just trying to get ahold of someone, they tried connecting remotely to the equipment and everything then went out, after spending a half a day talking and trying to troubleshoot the issue they issued a ticket for a technician to come out the next day, once he arrived I could see that he was having difficulties himself and spent almost an hour talking to technical support to try and resolve the issues, after about four hours, everything was working as it should, for about fifteen minutes, I rushed outside to tell the technician before he drove off, and I could tell he had just gotten done smoking marijuana, he came inside looked at the equipment and told me he had waisted enough time already and told me good luck and then left. My advice to anyone considering Frontier, if you see them coming, run and run as fast as you can away from them. read more

I rescheduled my day to be here the date of an installation only for the technician to text me 1 hour prior for me to call and resolve and "issue" The issue was never given even though I ask for them to only kick the ball a month down the road a entire month for the installation but they cut off my cable when the installation was not done. When I cancelled this service because of the constant outages and the high price (twice as much as they advertise for new users), it was only two days into my service period. For the third time, a Frontier salesperson disturbed me by knocking on my my door anyway to " check on your Frontier services." I do not have any, never have, and never will. It was an outright lie, and she knew it. This is private property, not a point of sale for anyone, and you cannot approach my doors and not see the notices. I said nothing, and I pointed at the notice. She had definitely seen it, because she didn't look at it, and left. I do not care that the company tells them to hit every house regardless of such a notice. The very next time it happens, I will video the incident and have the representative arrested for trespassing, invasion of privacy, and harassment. My property, my rules. read more

I just had frontier internet installed two weeks ago. They left my yard a disgrace. They installed the cables and did nothing at all to repair the yard or the areas in which they had to do. The internet cuts out all of the time! I can't watch TV without the show cutting at least four or five times a day. Sometimes the little spinner in the center of my screen just spins and spins and nothing happens. I have to reload constantly. What? I contacted them and spoke with a tech, his response was.." maybe you need to unplug everything else and only run one thing at a time". This is 2024. Who runs one item at a time? In a world filled with internet and connectivity. And they can't run more than one TV at a time. I wasted money and time. I don't want to go back to spectrum but I am going to go somewhere else. Frontier is the WORST COMPANY EVER. We move to Florida, my husband calls them up and sets up an account for someone to come out a week later, that sucks but we accepted, 2 days before our scheduled service we get a confirmation call and we confirm the appointment. NO ONE SHOWS. So we call frontier and apparently it never left "priority". But we got a confirmation call and we accepted? So then they told us we had to wait another week ....... so my husband cancels his account and says don't come out and don't charge my card. We tried to get spectrum yet they don't speak English so we hung up on them. THEN I signed up with frontier online. AT THIS POINT, BOTH OF OUR CREDIT HAS BEEN RAN. So my appointment was scheduled 5 days later (better than a week later). I never received a confirmation and wouldn't ya know, ANOTHER NO SHOW. so we call frontier and guess what ?! No one came out because there was a "duplicate order". But we canceled my husbands account so that doesn't make sense. Obviously we are angry at this company and the incompetence of its employees. The lady on the phone says we have to wait ANOTHER 6 days. It's July 24 and we originally contacted frontier on July 12th .. we told the lady that's unacceptable and we need to talk to a manager and she ends up hanging up on us. The only thing frontier is really good at is reliability. It is a stable service. That being said, you can expect to get slightly less than half of what the advertised speed is that you pay for. If you pay for one gig of service. You will slightly less than 500 Mb per second. I paid for a gig of service and never gotten more than 478 Gb per second at any time. I decided to downgrade since I was not getting what I was paying for. After downgrading to 500 Mb service, I get about 200 Mb per second. Also, the customer service is absolutely horrendous. The worst customer service of any company I have ever experienced in my entire life. Do not do business with this company unless you have to. Unfortunately, in my area, the other option is spectrum. I refuse to do business with them. As soon as a faster option is available in my area, I will drop frontier like a bad habit. read more

One of the worst businesses, I have ever dealt with. They're customer service is awful. I tried connecting with them due to many issues on separate occasions and each time either it was a 30-40 min wait, their troubleshooting number and app was down, or it took 2 reps 45 min between both of them to just tell me that there was an outage in my area as it wasn't showing on my profile. So when I went to cancel my service, they charged me $90 early termination fee even though I don't have a contract and then an additional $50 restocking fee. What a scam. The activation and connection was good. Service was good too but cancellation was a nightmare. I called multiple times and they had issues so I couldn't talk to anyone and they couldn't pull up my account. So I called back 2 weeks later and they made me wait 2 weeks to receive an authorization ID and said I wouldn't get charged again. I got charged anyways and when I called to finalize the cancellation, they didn't even need the authorization ID. Of course they're not going to refund me the $40 because it was still within the billing period even though I haven't been using their service for over a month. read more

In November of 2023 I started to have dropped internet and TV a few hours a day. in the following 5 weeks, I had called the service and support 5 times... and 3 of those resulted in a Technician coming out to my home ( Land O Lakes ,fl) they replaced everything from the Router to the outside Optical. finally I spotted a rusty and dirty connector from the house distribution to their optical box... I POINTED IT OUT to the tech, who redid the connection . THAT FIXED IT ... in the next two weeks I received a Maintenance FEE of $ 350. for service ! and no credit for 5 weeks of horrible use? I called and complained, they agreed with me and said in a few days Id see the charges removed... its now been 12 DAYS and the charges are still on my bill... When I switched to Frontier for internet and land line, they were unable to get the land line working. Customer service hung up on me twice. The third time, I was told Michelle would fix everything and call me back the next day. She did not. I went online to chat with CSR and was told that I had to provide her with my complete social security number or she couldn't help me. I canceled the service after waiting seven days for them to complete my installation. They want me to pay a restocking fee of $50. I'm a new Frontier customer. the service was installed on 4/8 and stopped working on 4/13. I downloaded the app and tried to get help, all I could get was a chat bot that or a recorded phone message To try and troubleshoot the problem. finally got a service tech scheduled to come on 4/16. Waited all afternoon and no one showed up. I got a text from Frontier apologizing saying a tech will call today 4/17, so far nothing. The app isn't working and you get a message saying they're having technical difficulties. Gave them a shot, had a better deal with previous internet provider. Sales man explained services which is not what I got. The contract is locked for 12 month not month to month. Did not explain any cancelation fees or restocking fees from phone representative. Returned their equipment and now received a bill for $141.00 which I will dispute. I was fine paying the first month's bill even though using the service for all but 4 days which was horrible after 6pm. Horrible. Set up Auto Pay, and although account was paid in full, my internet service was suspended. Chat service gave me mixed answers from just reboot because your account is fine to your account is suspended for lack of payment. Frontier said a technician had to come to the house to restore internet 24 hours later although it was probably suspended remotely. When I asked why I had to wait so long for internet to be restored, I got crazy answer that technician had to come to house to check on my connections. I was paying so much for spectrum that I switch to frontier. I have eight hue lights and two TVs. Frontier provides the eero pro modem router combo. It sucks. The eero box gets too hot to touch with the hue bridge plugged in. The technician placed the box in the middle of the house and if the hue bridge is plugged in, the living room TV won't work. I could go on and on but suffice it to say although it's half the price of spectrum, I will be looking for another option because frontier sucks! read more

I made an arrangement with the chat bot on the Frontier app. I received a confirmation msg saying I had one week to pay the past due amount to avoid service interruption. Two days later my service was interrupted. Frontier has no record of this arrangement. I had Frontier for one month, then my service would go in and out. I contacted them and was told it was something with the equipment and they wouldn't be able to send someone out for a few days, I decided to work on it, 5 mins later I have it working. During this time I figured out that Frontier doesn't like my router so I have to use theirs, but because my security cameras and smart plugs need 2.4 GHz I can't use the Eeros or whatever it's called. I'm back to contacted customer service, 2 hours later and 7+ transfers including one to a supervisor who also transferred me, I cancelled my service. They had excuses as to why I was transferred so many times, that doesn't work for me. I get one or two transfers, but not 7+. They wanted to charge me for the new router, even though I told them on install I need access to 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz, I was left the Eeros thing. I have switched back to Spectrum. Are they better? Not always, but I have never been transferred so much and each person less competent than the last. If you decide to go with Frontier, good luck. I would rather be hooked up to my phone's hotspot than use them ever again, which is what I was told to do while I waited on a tech. read more

I've been a long-time customer only because we are limited to two options in our neighborhood, and Frontier is the lesser of two evils. (The other company won't even tell me what my charges will be after the trial period ends.) I spent an hour and a half today trying to BUY ADDITIONAL SERVICE, but could not do that. And when I called the suggested phone number I got an automated system that ran me through hoops and then couldn't help, despite the claim "You can talk to me like a person." I moved out of Florida in April 2016. I called to disconnect and another time to verify that this has occurred. My lease then expired in September 2016. For some reason, my services were not disconnected and I was continued to be billed until January 2017. I called recently after discovering I owe them money. To get this taken off my credit report, they tell me I have to call their collection agency. I have been given 3 different collection agencies who do not have any record of me.
