II did leave a great review at first until a week later I left to go on vacation and when I got a flat, not their problem, I was in the middle of nowhere. I went to change my own tire because I was in the middle of nowhere come to find out they did not put my personal property back. I have four locking lugs one on each rim and it was nowhere to be found in my car never to be found again when I called them to confront them. They didn't even say sorry the guy that I talked to said oh that sucks. That's not what you say in this situation they said they would talk to the mechanic he was out to launch. I had to call back three hours later still waiting for a tow. Never mind they said they were pretty sure he put it back in my car, thieves, untrustworthy horrible people do not go there.

Bought a set of tires for my dually pickup (6tires) $2200 worth. JUST TIRES. I was in disbelief on how dangerous this was and I hauling heavy loads! I could have been killed or killed someone else if my tire had come off. I took it back to fix my problem and was met with rudeness and frustration by the manager. Like it was my fault.! I contacted the main office and was met with the same attitude. They tried to charge me $300 additional for parts after they broke it! I told them I would not pay that . They threatened me with a lien on my truck. Nothing came of this fortunately. HOWEVER, I had to take it back a few weeks later because my rear main seal was leaking because of the damage that occurred from the loose lug nuts. They fixed it. Then I decided I would never return my business. NOW I was checking my brake pads because I noticed a weird noise and discovered my whole right rear dually rotor is broken in half!!!! I'm so unbelievably frustrated because this will now be thousands of dollars in repairs because of their negligence. I will be reporting them to the BBB. If not suing them for the damage that was caused to my pickup that has NEVER Had a problem before. The fact I could have been in a major accident seems to be this businesses least concern. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE EVER!!!!!!!!

I wanted to thank the people at Holladay Auto Repair and share my expierence…read more I was on vacation with the Family traveling from Texas in our 2014 Ford explorer sport. I keep this car fully maintained and cared for. Prior to our trip I did the 120000 mile service changing fluids spark plugs and coils with motorcraft oem. Eyerything seemed good for the trip. After making the climb into Pagosa i noticed some random misfire. After parking for an hour when I went to start the car. It was missing so bad it would barely drive. I knew I needed a mechanic! I did some searching and went with a top rated shop I found online. When I arrived at my appointment he looked under the hood and said he did not have time to deal with ignition/ electrical issues. I was devastated and went on my way. Trying to think what to do. I went to a local auto parts store to get a replacement spark plug. They recommended holiday auto repair. Holladay was able to get me in the next morning. Shane, the owner, and one of the mechanics Will, were very receptive and told me they would diagnose to the best of their ability. I found them to be very competent caring and professional. Within an hour they had the coils and plugs out and it was determined that these were not OEM parts, but Chinese copies labeled as Ford Motorcraft. ( Amazon problem) They replaced all the plugs and coils, and made sure that the car was running correctly. All of this was done at a fair and reasonable cost with upmost care to my vehicle, my safety and my family. I personally highly recommend this shop to anyone and know that these people at Holladay auto repair have the best intentions. Shane the owner, has integrity and care for all of his customers. I know after being in the shop for three hours that his concern is quality work at a fair price but always keeping safety for the customer in mind. Some people don't realize how complex it is to be a mechanic and balance all of these issues. Your money and time is well spent with Holiday auto, I wish everyone the best expierence.

My engine started the next morning in shutdown mode, a real downer indeed! I woke CD early Sunday morning and he arrived within 45-minutes. This is a third-generation-family-business, and CD quickly ascertained my 8v92 to be a two-stroker from his grandfather's era. He did not have a plug to fit my DDEC-II diag plug. But instead of closing the hood and driving away, he used his excellent skills to quickly assess that I had either a sensor or module-failure. He traced the wires as if he had wired it himself and found three suspect parts. Using old-school process of elimination, CD found my sensors to be good and my coolant-protection module failing. He bypassed the module and instructed me on how to carefully monitor the dash to watch for any potential of heating up. He advised that I climb Wolf Creek Pass in the cool of the day after a coming rain-shower. As he was leaving, he noticed a square-headed screw in my passenger-side tag tire. He had the tire off, repaired, and back on within a very short while. He provided information about my particular tires and advised driving patterns. He noted several positive aspects of my old rig and was generally complimentary when lesser mechanics might have condescended or refused my call because they "might not have the plug" or my favorite from Loves in Denton, "we don't have the wrenches to fit your bus!" I climbed WCP with no heating issues by following CD's recommendations. He told me exactly what grades to expect between PS and Leadville, and I found it to be just as he said. This morning, about 8 o' clock, CD called me to check in whether I had stayed in Pagosa overnight, and if not, had I had any trouble. I gave him the good report and told him I looked forward to doing business again. Protouch - Knowledgeable, responsive, professional, very well equipped, respectful - a very, very good experience.

He came over next morning and I preceded to inform him of what the last three shops/mechanics had diagnosed. Several Transmission selonoid faults. I asked him if he had time and a lift or bay that could handle my 13k lb class C RV. None of the other shops could accommodate me. He rambled on about shop RV insurance. Walked to his truck and said to call a shop in Aztec. I asked him if he was going to check my truck. He said no . I asked why, he said "he prefers not to work with people who think they know more than him.". This stranded 74 year old full time Rver for 12 years was flabbergasted . Rude and Unprofessional. Not a nice person at all.
