I came by to open a new savings account for my son, and they told me it would be 45 minutes due to 1 employee going to lunch. The manger sat in her office the entire time and basically said oh well they will have to wait instead of helping us herself. This is the 3rd bad experience I have had with them. I had to get change real quick before our regular bank closes and this bank was nearby where we were eating. Just had to get $6 in quarters for a New Years tradition from a $20 bill. Went up to the older blonde teller and asked politely if I could get change. She looked at me, as I'm wearing all my Marine Corps Veteran sweater and hat, asked if I was a member. I said no, and she said that she couldn't help me because I wasn't a member. I thought this bank was made for Veterans and the Armed Forces, and yet you couldn't help me get change from a $20 bill. If you apply for a credit card and a car loan even if you've applied for them years apart the branch will lump it all together. Your two separate loans becomes one without any notice until you're late on one or the other. Then the explanation will be it doesn't matter of the dates you're a member. Making it impossible to keep your credit line available and then shutting down your ATM access and threatening of repoing your vehicle. I've been banking with PMCU for about 3 years now and they've been really good to me so far. I was with Chase before for over 9 years but they ended up screwing me over pretty bad so it's nice to be with a small credit union. I have a auto loan from this bank with good interest. This location is great and the service is always good. The staff treat you well and really know how to take care of you. The only thing I feel needs improvement is accessibility. I bought a Harley in April and decided to finance it to conserve my cash flow for my move and not only did they raise my rate (mind you I have outstanding credit) but because I made a simple mistake of not adding collision and had just liability which I corrected a month later, they charged me $360 for 1 month of insurance saying I had a lapse in insurance. That is more than my bike payment. They would do nothing about it... So guess what.. It's getting paid off in 3 weeks and I'm never using them again for anything. He is one of the many people that is not working with no income dealing todays Covad crisis. He called them to ask for an extension to make his payment which there are only 3 payments left. I've been a member of PMCU for over seven years and I'm happy with them. I never had a problem with them and anytime I need something they are there for me. I used to go to the one that was next to BJ's and I liked that location better it just seemed bigger. Customer service is great here when they make a mistake they own it and fix it. I don't like when people try to say it's your fault and how you didn't do this or that. Horrible experience!! I bank at another credit union. Went here as a shared branch location. They kept messing up. Froze my account for too many transactions. And then when I checked my account they had draft 3 times. 2 were supposed to be voided. So 3 times the money was taken in error. Trying to get it back from them is a nightmare. Already an hour on the phone and now they are telling me I have to go back to the branch for resolution. Update: went back to bank branch like the said and they couldn't help. I have a Car loan through Golden 1 CC in Sacramento. I needed to go into a Branch for a transaction, so the closest affiliate to me is Frontwave on Winchester. I stopped in explained my situation to a Banker, she told me the teller could help me. I went up to a teller named Daisey. I explained my complicated situation to her and she said she could help me. She ended up having to call G-1 and sat on hold forever. When they finally came on, she took care of my issue with G-1, even though they were giving her crap. She stayed professional at all times, we got the car payment squared away, with no help from the POS G-1. We finished the transaction. I would have to recommend them as while I was there they seemed like a very attentive crew working to all Customers that came in. Tried to use the espress banking provided by PCMU. What a mess that is. Apparently PMCU deside to consolidate your acounts into you primary account. This means that if you had more than one account they all fall under one. Good luck trying to access an acount that is not considered the primary account. What this means if you share an account lets say with your wife and either of you open a seperate account both parties willl have access to the information of the seperate account. Good luck using express bank for the account that is not the primary account. Don't try to seperate the accounts into seperate accounts because you cant without going into one off the offices and all I can say to that is good luck. I ask why desided consolidate two or more accounts under a primary? I am sure the process made sense to the program writer but for me as a user of express banking the whole process as it is now is fucking worthless to me and a whole lot of other members. If the tellers have to call off site to seek help then there is yet another concern. I have been banking witrh PMCU for 20 years and this is by far the worst service provided. I hope that whomever is responsible for this shit has the brains to fix it. read more

Finally get help, she tells me that the need to pull a full credit report and will ding my credit. WTF is a savings account I am depositing my money not asking for a loan. To top it off after they screw your credit you will have hold placed on anything that you deposit in the account for 30 days. Started with Pacific Marine, as my salary was mandatorily deposited into PMCU account in boot camp. My first ATM card didn't have a Visa logo. After SEVERAL tries, about 8,my card renewal to one with a logo never arrived in the mail. Awhile later, my car was totaled by a drunk driver. I found an affordable car that I could more than afford, and in applying for the loan, PMCU claimed that I have no credit record what so ever. Mind blown, since prior to this car loan, I'd bought my previous car, bought a house that had recently been fully paid off, and I'd had a Visa Credit card for 4 years. I closed my account immediately after being told I had no credit, drove to Navy Fed, opened an account, applied for the loan, which turns out my credit score was in he 700's, and got the loan that very same day. Bought that new car, and never looked back. Would not recommend Pacific Marine. Go to Navy Fed or Chase. read more

I cannot access my account or transfer funds, I called to ask about my balance and customer service said they couldn't help me because of the update they are doing 3 DAYS of not being able to transfer money, I went to get milk for my child my card got declined because I need to transfer funds for safety reasons we only keep a small balance in our checkings, and now my daughters birthdays tomorrow I cant buy groceries or a cake for her THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR NOT CONSIDERING YOUR CUSTOMERS TO ENSURE THIS DOESN'T HAPPEN AGAIN WE'RE TAKING OUR MONEY ELSE WHERE.
